Giving this a 2 star because the food is actually pretty good; their wings are pretty darn good. However, some of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant/bar. We have given this place so many chances and have continually gone back thinking "Maybe this time it will be better." Nope. To start, we wait forever to even be helped, and then the waitresses aren't all that friendly. We are pretty easy to work with, and I am more than patient most of the time... but it gets frustrating when you wait 10 plus minutes when all the workers are sitting at a table near you chatting or eating. This last visit was the worst and the ultimate demise of this place. We played keno and because it was later in the evening, we had to go to the bar to replay our games. The bartender argued with me about how much I owed her - and I knew I was right! - She was so rude, and when her lightbulb finally went off and realized I was correct, she THREW my money at me and said "Oh shit, you're right." Not even an I'm sorry. Like I said, it's too bad because the food is actually pretty decent. But definitely recommend other places that are nearby. read more

Went to try it out. First of all, we sat down and for at least 15 minutes we were looking around like "uhhhhhh who is our waitress?" Finally she came. I got a grilled chicken wrap and I usually I love salty foods but dang, it tasted like they accidentally dumped the whole salt shaker on my chicken... I even gave my friend a bite to see if I was just being a baby and she agreed with me that it was inedible. I also got a Long Island iced tea and it was terrible!!! I told the waitress that I didn't like it and she was like "Oh, the bar tender didn't make this, it's just something that comes pre-mixed" so I was like "I'm sorry but I can't even drink this... it's awful." I ordered a different drink and the Long Island remained untouched at my table.... then when she finally brought me my check the Long Island was still on my tab, I don't like to complain so of course I paid for it....I guess I just thought it was a common courtesy that if something was super gross and you can see that it remained full and you know it's because of a nasty mix or even the way something was prepared, that you would be nice enough to take it off the tab... but whatever I suppose. Food is not good enough to be worth the experience. Tried the place 5 times since it's in neighborhood with cheap happy hours, always knowing service will be bad but food is cheap. Last experience was waiting 50 minutes for food after ordering, place was less than half full. Wish the place was replaced with a good bar and grill. read more

Went there for the first time today. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (the Lighthouse way). Our fries were cold & as I took a few bites, I realized it was regular buffalo sauce, not the Garlic Parm it should have been. Being polite, I asked the waitress & she said she'd check & if it was wrong did I want to send it back? Well I NEVER send food back in fear of what will be done, so I said no. Text book sports bar someone wanted to open. Nothing fancy in the decor. Specials aren't anything to write home about, you can save a penny here and there. The staff is so so. There isn't a uniform or even a shirt that I noticed that sets the staff apart from the patrons. I accidentally flagged down a patron for a drink thinking she worked there given she was hanging out with staff. I had the bbq burger (forgot the name of it). It wasn't bad, I did have to take off a lot of the onion that came on it. They could save some money if they toned down the amount of onion they place on each burger. For a place that has only been opened a couple of weeks, this place is really good. Yes, I have to agree that it is a bit loud (what do you expect with an open industrial ceiling and cement floors) but I don't think it's as bad as other people are saying. My husband and I could hear each other with no issues sitting across from each other. We came here Sunday afternoon to watch football (which they have the Sunday ticket) and it wasn't too busy. We had a couple of beers and food, in which the beer was cold and food was really tasty. I'm looking forward to future visits to this establishment. read more

This place won't last long. Inattentive staff, drinks too strong (yes, to the point of it being undrinkable), and the set up leaves a lot to be desired. When you walk in you can't even tell if they have liquor, it's all hidden under the bar so it looks like they just sell beer. There were under 10 people there and we could not get our bill for over 20 minutes before ending up having to interrupt an employees convo to get her attention. Most of these reviews were written when it first opened. Any new business is going to have some issues at first. We have been to Lighthouse several times. Their happy hour specials are great! $3.50 wines, $2 draws, 10 wings for $6. We usually get the wings and cheese bread...very good! Great place to watch a game, plenty of room with regular tables, booths and high tops. I guess my only complaint would be lack of ambiance. Service was alright, but food was supposed par. We tried to order 18 wings and were told we could not split the order into two flavors. We ended up ordering 12 teriyaki and 12 spicy garlic. Decided to try this place out on a Friday night. Typical sports bar vibe. Wait staff was nice and prompt. I decided to try their special, a $27 Ribeye, with extras ordered medium rare. First cut into the steak was well done. A few more cuts and the rarest are was medium well. I pointed out to the waitress that it was over cooked but I wasn't sending it back. They were slammed and I'd worked in food service for years. I tried to finish the steak but it was just too done. Waitress brought the check. They didn't even knock the price of a drink off. Man, where to begin! I really really really wanted to like this bar as it's 2 min from my house. You walk in and loudness is about 13 on a 10 point scale. The people behind the bar seemed nice enough that's why I'm giving it a 2 star and not a 1 star. We got boneless wings and pretzels with cheese l. The wings where awful they were very chewy and not good at all. The pretzel was ok but the cheese sauce tasted like it sat in a warmer all day not being stirred. They did have a ton of big screens in the bar but you couldn't even make a phone call that's how loud it was. We got an order of tater tot's and they were so salty they won't even take them back we had to order tater tot's without salt and they charge you for them terrible service. We really wish this place was better. It's a great central location to meet friends. Food has always been a hit and miss. When it's great... It's awesome. But lately... It's all miss. We chose this place to meet friends and family after our wedding about a month ago. Management was notified a large group would be coming. It was a disaster. My guests were told by management that several wait staff had walked out that day. Many of my guests told me separate stories of long waits, not getting served at all, and horrible food. A few of my guests even attempted to help out by bussing tables and got snapped and cussed at. I feel bad that my family and friends had such bad experience on our wedding day and regret choosing this place. We tried one more time tonight. (Needed to meet someone and this place was in the middle) Most of the wait staff looks new. Our waitress bought us fries and said "they were sitting there so I brought them out so they wouldn't get yucky". They were already dried out and wings came out 12 minutes later. Most were good but several were char-burnt not char-buffed. She was nice and took the fries when she noticed we only tried a couple. It'll be a long time before we try again. We have visited this new location about 4 times since it has opened. The first few times we visited, the service was about on par with what everyone else said. I will focus my review on my most recent visit here with a co-worker on our lunch break. I believe it was a Thursday, and they had a steak special for lunch for $9.99. I did not have high expectations for this meal, however we were greeted promptly and served quickly. I ordered my steak medium, with tots as the side (I haven't been impressed with their fries - crinkle cut and soggy/bland) the steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Not a lot of excess fat on the steak either. Now this wasn't a firebirds steak by any means, however for $9.99 it sure beat an Applebee's steak by many margins. My co-worker had a similar feeling about his steak as well. I will post a follow up review next time my family and I pay a visit on a busy evening. read more

Stopped in to have a Beer with a friend Friday Night about 19:30. I got there before he did and WOW is it loud. It's brand new so I hope they figure it out. Nice big TV's, bar stools are not that comfortable, small wooden type. There is no way you could have a decent conversation with anyone, so I finished my beer and texted my friend to meet me somewhere different. We were at the Lighthouse Bar and Grill last night and I was on the phone. I told our waitress that I wanted the salad with the grilled chicken on top and she asked me what dressing I wanted and I said blue cheese pointing to the salad above it with the blue cheese. She brought me the salad with the spicy chicken on top and I told her it was the wrong salad and she said no problem. Then she came back and said because of the confusion we'd have to pay 50% for that salad and did we want it. We said no. Then the manager came over and asked what happened and we told her, not wanting to get the waitress in trouble, my husband said it was okay that we would pay for the salad which was 10.99. When the bill came, we were charged for 2 salads. So , I went up and talked to the manager and waitress. The manager said in a snotty voice, your husband said he would pay for it so we charged for it. I said he didn't really mean that. She said well, he said it and you were billed for it. Consequently we won't be back. She was not nice, shouldn't have interfered and we left feeling we had a bad experience. We left a generous tip of 20.00 for our waitress. Andrew the bartender is a 6 star the only reason this place is getting a 2 star rating is for a couple of reasons. The owner was just standing around on his phone instead of helping the rest of his staff or even the bartender all he did was text. His cook got in a confrontation with a guest and he did nothing to stop it. The bartender did more to try and stop it. As of right now only the bartender would be the only reason why I would continue to go back! Hope the owner/or manager gets it together place has potential but if you don't get it together it will go under. Also lower the volume to the music it's too loud! Prices for drinks are competitive and looks like menu item specials through the week look good will have to try them all out and report back. But seriously hope that guy gets it together! read more

The wings are the best in town and very much on same page as Oscars if you have had those- the bomb and char buffed. I would say the Parmesan garlic and spicy garlic are my favorite. They have these other freaking amazing things w cheese and jalopenos inside "awesome bites." I've been in a few times. $3 long islands which you really can't beat every mother freakin day and the best freaking happy hour deals! I think it was the second time I was there with a bunch of my guy friends and they kept talking about how hot the two red head waitresses were in the bar and I thought the bartender was cute. Haha.
