I've been meaning to try Pitch for quite a while now, and it did not disappoint! I started with the Orange Blossom cocktail and it was delish, not too sweet or strong. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were HUGE! Much larger than we expected, but really good! We ordered the chicken pesto pizza, which was good but very very oily. I know that can partially be because of the pesto, but i've had lots of other pesto pizzas that aren't this oily. It was still good just a little soggy because of the oil. I hate to leave a review like this but the community should know... first of all the food, and serving staff is great! But the manager here is scary. TLDR: Place is amazing still. I first started going to Pitch back in 2012. I loved the chicken panini with truffle fries and a Tecate with the fixings. I'd also order a burger, yes, a burger at a pizza place, and it was still one of the best burgers I've had. I moved away in 2014. Fast forward 11 years to 2025, I'm back visiting Omaha and made sure to stop by Pitch. Consistency is key, and Pitch absolutely has it. The food was just as good, if not better, than I remembered. This time around, we ordered two meatballs with focaccia, truffle fries, a classic burger with avocado, bacon, white cheddar, and fries, Pitch's "VIP" smoked cheddar mac and cheese, a cheese pizza, a margherita pizza, and crème brûlée. The meatballs were tender and well-seasoned. A little ricotta would take them over the top, but they were excellent as-is. The focaccia was perfect for soaking up the tomato sauce. The truffle fries were outstanding. The truffle flavor wasn't overpowering or weak, just right, and the fries held up well without getting soggy. Crispy, well-balanced, and easy to keep going back for. I ordered the burger medium well. The patty was thick, juicy, and well-balanced with the toppings. The brioche bun made a difference and held together nicely without getting soggy. Easily a must-try. The smoked cheddar mac and cheese was rich and creamy with a smooth, velvety texture. The smoky flavor came through without overwhelming the dish. It's filling enough to be a main, but it worked perfectly as a side. We had to try the cheese pizza since it's the most basic and tells you a lot about a kitchen. The crust was soft, the sauce and cheese were well-balanced, and it was simply done right. The margherita pizza stood out with a good amount of fresh basil that added brightness. I prefer pizza with no flop, but even so, this held its own. Having had great pizza in New Jersey and New York, this definitely competes. For dessert, the crème brûlée leaned more toward vanilla, with a smooth custard and a nicely caramelized top. A great way to end the meal. To top it off, the service was superb and tied the entire experience together. I'll definitely make a point to stop by again the next time I'm in Omaha. I honestly really liked all of the ones I tried (I didn't try their spicy option). The pizza was really tasty. Pitch is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Omaha. I love both the Dundee and West locations! As much as I love all the fun and gourmet pizzas, I think their entrees and apps knock it out of the park. I honestly just want to order all the appetizers as my meal sometimes! If you get one thing though, it has to be the truffle fries with the 3 aiolis. Best french fries i've ever had in my entire life. And don't forget about the drinks! We had a good lunch on a hot afternoon at Pitch. It has a very casual vibe and the acoustics are pretty good for conversation. Bookguy had a fried chicken sandwich, a Caesar salad and the soup of the day. He was underwhelmed by the sandwich and the soup. I had a taste of the soup and thought it had a nice, spicy kick. Bookguy was disappointed that it was blended soup with no bits. He said it tasted like corn and I asked what it was but forgot to write it down. The waiter brought him three sauces to enhance the chicken, which helped add flavor. I had a Margarita pizza which was fairly standard and tasty. I also had a mixed greens salad that was better than average with garbanzo beans and oven roasted tomato. I liked it a lot. Both salads had grated mozzarella cheese piled on top which spilled over on the table when we dug in. Pitch has a wall full of what appears to be wine bottles. We always order a drink when we visit, the pomegranate margarita has been my favorite in the past but I try to switch it up since they removed it from the menu. Stopped in at Pitch on an early Sunday afternoon. I am huge fan of the Scottsdale location. This location is in Dundee/Benson area. Not very far from where my parents stay so wanted to check it out for drinks with my college buddy. We grabbed drinks and an appetizer. Their drink menu is expansive. Also lots of options for appetizers. We decided to get the buffalo cheese dip. The dip was very good and the foccacia was delicious. Wished we got maybe one more slice of the bread. We did try to get some more but the waitress forgot. No big deal. Props to the bartender for making a special request for my margarita. All in all I would go back in town. I truly miss the atmosphere of the Scottsdale location but this location was convenient and prices very reasonable. read more

The pepadew app was drizzled with pesto and balsamic vinegar. Love this flavor profile. This may be the best app that I have eaten this year! . The pizza is right down my alley. The crust is very thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The toppings seem to be of very good and flavorful quality. . I don't normally drink chocolate milk, but I got chocolate milk only because the day I went, it was National Chocolate Milk Day. So I decided to celebrate. Additionally, There is a full bar. I've been to Pitch during their brunch and dinner hours. I'd really like to try their brunch and pizzas again because I think there are better things on the menu than what I picked to eat those days. During their brunch hour, we ordered their truffle fries (of course) with all of their dipping sauces. It's way too much condiments given for the amount of fries. I always feel bad for wasting so much of it, but I do get that a lot of people are just "saucy". Their chantilly whipped cream on their waffle was really good, just wish there was more of the whipped cream since I don't care of syrup. When I came in for dinner, it was for a big birthday party. My friend and I (both Muslim) had a deeply upsetting and offensive experience at this establishment on Friday the 18th (in the evening). From the start, we made it very clear that we could not consume any alcohol and specifically requested a 0.0% non-alcoholic drink with absolutely no traces of alcohol. The staff assured us that the drinks were safe, but then brought us a different drink than what we had ordered. After taking a sip -- which tasted off -- we checked the label and discovered it contained up to 0.5% alcohol. This was not only a serious violation of our religious beliefs, but also extremely upsetting because my friend is currently pregnant. When we calmly raised our concerns, we were met with aggressive and dismissive behavior, and were told that "all non-alcoholic drinks have some alcohol" -- which is completely false. We specifically asked for 0.0%, and that's what we should have been served. Things got even worse. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza with NO BACON, and repeated this request four times. I asked the waitress to please double-check and confirm. She assured me the pizza would not have bacon. Yet halfway through eating, I found a huge chunk of bacon in my mouth -- I spit it out, and saw bacon pieces all over the pizza. We asked to speak to a manager, but instead the same waitress came back, and tried to gaslight us, insisting there was no bacon on the pizza -- as if we couldn't clearly see or taste it ourselves. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to make the situation right. To top it off, instead of removing the alcoholic drinks they wrongly served us, they just charged us for Sprite -- as if we should be grateful for that. They didn't remove the starters or anything else, despite this being a very distressing and disrespectful experience. We remained polite and respectful the entire time, but were treated with negligence, dishonesty, and a total lack of regard for our dietary restrictions, our religion, and our well-being. This wasn't just poor service it was a serious violation of trust and potentially harmful, especially for someone who is pregnant. We are strongly considering taking legal action. This was not a minor mistake it was deeply upsetting, dangerous, and discriminatory.Avoid this place at all costs if you expect to be treated with honesty, safety, and respect. read more
