I was able to fill out a request and get a free quote on their website in like 4 mins and get a response within hours and I filled it out past 11 at night. I had a heavy couch that needed to move from a relatives place to mine. I was able to book them on shorter notice. They were decent and courteous. Although, they also kept reiterating how heavy the couch was - I gave them a tip for their troubles, maybe that's what they were angling for? It just rubs me the wrong way when employees gripe to customers. They did have the couch wrapped up nicely, but they damaged a part of our doorframe when they moved it in. We will be upgrading our door and area in the next year or so so I'm not deeply concerned about it. I may contemplate using them again if I needed, but once we have our threshold upgraded, I probably wouldn't. I would say they are a good fit for apartment/rental moves or homes that you'll be renovating in the near future. read more

There was no scuffing of our floors or walls despite the many stairs and tight turns. No goods, even fragile glasses, were damaged. A dresser had minor scratches since its drawers were packed without padding in a cardboard box. In hindsight, I could have provided some backup to the guys. They were very receptive to my requests and suggestions. The packing service was well-worth the cost. They do charge for materials, but opted to use as much of the material I had on hand as possible. The three guys who packed did more in 3 hours than my wife and I did in 12 hours previously. We ended up not purchasing insurance. We tried, but we had an issue looking up their certification for interstate moves (their interstate moving company is called Prime Moving. It's the same people, though). I was having a large, 700lb, outdoor tub delivered to my home. The delivery company would only deliver to my driveway so I needed another service to move to the back patio. A relatively short distance but a very heavy object. I called a few companies and only Like Movers said they would handle such a heavy object. In addition to the frustrations we dealt with, when the company contacted us to ask what led to our review, the first responses they gave to our concerns was unfounded justifications and excuses as to why the performance was justified, including things like "there was a service elevator and the crew had to then walk to the truck" even though I told them they can move the truck to a location closer to the elevator and they didn't do it. With regards to the trash being left outside our front door they responded with "well it says in our fine print paperwork that we don't take trash away in our truck" even though the crew never asked where our trash bins were to put the garbage there. They offered some kind of fair refund option and when I mentioned reducing the time worked by 2-2.5 hours and paying us $300 for broken items, they said that'd be too much because it would be 40% of the total cost of the job. Not sure what math they are doing but I doubt that amount would be 40% of an $1800 service. The icing on the cake was the bribery from the company. Repeatedly asking "if we give you a refund would you be willing to change your review to a 4 or 5 star?" When I directly asked if the refund was contingent on a review change they denied it but then continued asking if they can count on us changing the review if they provide a refund. When I made it clear we are not going to lie and say it was a 4 star service when it wasn't, they went radio silent. I even tried to follow up and no response. It's very clear that they want to provide minimal quality and receive 5 star reviews without doing what's right by their customer. I would recommend to never use this company, but if you choose to then make sure you read the fine print and be extremely directive, double and triple checking their work, and don't let them leave until you check everything, including that trash isn't just left in your house or on your front doorstep read more

Like Movers did my recent move last weekend. The men were very kind and professional. I was also loading small miscellaneous items in my car and they made room in the truck for these items. My belongings were carefully wrapped prior to loading the truck. When we arrived at my new place the unloading was so fast, my bed was put together quickly, and items I didn't have a destination for were placed neatly in my living room as asked. The whole move process was excellent. It began with Mike who was very responsive just like the reviews said. He provided a comprehensive overview of pricing and discussed various moving options. Additionally, Mike sold me on Like Movers, because he seemed very interested in my business which I genuinely appreciated. Sergey and Alek were proficient movers. You could tell this wasn't their first rodeo. :) They were on time, and also provided a courtesy call about 30 minutes before which was really nice. They were flexible at navigating the unique circumstances of my building on the outbound move, which required a longer time due to the elevator not being very close to the truck. They never complained and were very courteous. Due to some physical limitations, they were very accommodating of my situation. They even carried items to and from my car. I found Alek and Sergey's expertise extremely valuable, particularly, with arranging furniture at my new place. Moreover, they were careful with moving furniture on hardwood floors and always displayed a calm demeanor even when they had to move things around a couple different times. THIS is what it looks like to be a 5-star business. I submitted a request through Yelp for a bid and these guys contacted me within the hour. We needed to get a small (but heavy, 500 lbs) church organ out of a mobile home (tight entry/exit) and they scheduled it 48 hours out (others charged twice the amount and didn't have availabilities until a week or more). The process was smooth, legitimate (signed contract, quote up front, no hidden fees, fully insured), and fast. When the two guys showed up, I honestly thought they would have a tough time moving it (I guess I was expecting two massive body builders?). They fully wrapped the organ (see image), treating it gently, got it out of the mobile home and up the ramp to their truck with ease.
