We were so looking forward to eating here after reading all the stellar reviews. First the good points. The staff were super nice and helpful. The pancakes are over an inch thick, never seen anything like it, only issue is the 2 packs of syrup all soaked into the top cake and the bottom was dry. Could have asked for more but we were seated outside and it was to aggrevating. I do not suggest the omelettes. Way smaller than we ever expected. I could see the disappointment on my wifes face when she saw them. For $9 i expected a big full omelette. It was fluffy but not as flavorful as we had hoped or expected. Just bacon and cheese. For $35 dollars for two kids and two adults we could have have had enough to keep us full till supper at other places and did just that the morning before. Again good service but portions are not worth the price. read more

This is the most precious local cafe I've had the pleasure of finding. Lil Black Bear is run by people who truly care about the service of their customers, and the decor is too cute to pass up. When we first came in the cook was putting up some coloring pages from visiting kids, and even offered to take a picture for the family before they left. His laugh was contagious and his spirit radiated. The woman was friendly and had a great smile as well. Their prices are GREAT and they're food is pretty good. The pancakes are the thickest I've ever seen and buttery (just the way I love them). The biscuits were crunchy and the cinnamon roll was dry, but the service well made up for it with genuine hard work and charm.

This place was BOMB! The server was very polite, fast, efficient and most importantly very personable. No wonder this small restaurant has such high reviews! Definitely a must try breakfast/lunch/brunch place to try when you're driving through. My wife and I both tried their breakfast burrito and each was prepared to our liking and exceeded expectations (at least mine, idk about hers you know how women are complicated). Lol. We stopped in here because of the huge amount of fantastic reviews. However, upon arriving, the place was tremendously underwhelming. The store itself was gimmicky and cluttered (but I guess we are in pigeon forge) but the service was nice. The food, on the other hand, was literally the worst breakfast I've had in a restaurant. I got the eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were 1.89 for a tiny little factory made, 3 bite potato, and my sunny side up eggs were tremendously undercooked. My wife got the giant pancakes, but we felt fairly certain that it was made from actual cake mix. Additionally, they refuse to give water and instead tell you that you can only purchase bottled water. Don't believe the reviews, and steer clear of this one. read more

Looking for breakfast and found this Cafe on Yelp. We were not disappointed. It is a small location that seats about 20. The prices are reasonable and the food comes out hot. Not a really large selection for breakfast but you will find something. Ordered the omelette with cheese and bacon and my husband ordered the eggs, bacon and cheese sandwich. Could not resist- I ordered the gooey cinnamon roll which was really really good. Owner cooks and was very nice. If there is s line it goes fast. The pancakes looked enormous and for two were $8.
