My husband and I just drove in from the airport and were pretty hungry for something yummy but also wanting something local! We looked on Yelp, and this cute little cafe came up! I have to say it did not disappoint! I got the Aloha Chicken sandwich (a special not on the menu) and French Onion Soup -- sooooooo delicious! Tiny little restaurant with big heart. My son and I went for breakfast. The place is small with maybe 3 or 4 tables on the inside and 2 outside picnic tables. Do not expect social distancing or masks in there but very friendly staff and great food. I'm not sure if it was the owner of the restaurant who is also the cook. Everyone there provided excellent service and the food was simple but fantastic. We didn't have time to try their bear claw desert but it looked delicious. This place is a perfect little gem! we walked in after a loooong drive from Miami and were warmly greeted immediately by who I think was the owner who had such great enthusiasm and a great attitude. our order was taken quickly and food was absolutely delicious! the pancakes were so yummy! the service was very attentive. our waitress as well was very nice and attentive. Yelp has finally steered me wrong. With a 5-star review, I thought this place was a sure hit. I'm giving it 3 stars on the owner's enthusiasm alone, but the food, coffee, and atmosphere were pretty lacking. The place is small, and it looks a little junky inside since there are crates of drinks stacked up next to the cooler where the cold drinks live. They're also next to the printer - why is that in the main dining area? I also didn't care for the gospel music that blared the whole time, but to each his own. The fella and I grabbed a table and ordered pancakes for me and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on white for him. His sandwich looked like something I would've made at home (and not in a good way). I think it took him about 5 bites to eat the whole thing. My pancakes came out a few minutes later, and while they were large and fluffy, they were pretty tasteless. I kept adding syrup to make them better, but that didn't help either. I got a side of bacon, which meant two, tiny pieces. Once we were done, I put my wallet on the table and waited... and waited... and waited. I finally asked the waitress if we had to come up to the counter to pay. She said we did. Would've been nice to know that. The reviewer who said their food is better and cheaper than McDonald's is absolutely right, but that isn't really saying much. read more

Surprised when we drove up and saw how tiny this place is, but wow the staff have such a big heart! friendly and sincere like family, you know this will be a good experience because they care. Had heard from Yelp that pancakes were good. Honestly these were the best ever in my lifetime. An order is two huge pieces, kinda thick but fluffy, lots of vanilla, and oh so yummie! They also come in flavors like blueberry and chocolate chip, but I prefer original with butter and syrup. We joined ours up with eggs and country sausage. We are so happy we found this place! Small, quiet and off the strip was nice. The food was amazing, comforting, made to order and the coffee was really good. The staff was wonderful, pointing out specials not on the menu and more than willing to make a special sandwich (which is now going to be a favorite) for my daughter who had given up meat for Lent (Rueben with tomato instead of corned beef). It's pretty small on the inside, but we liked that. The service was incredible for only having 2 people working there and the interior/exterior being packed.
