Absolutely loved the area and Lil' Cooperstown! The spicy mac n' cheese was in fact spicy, I wasn't sure if it was just be flavorful or actual spicy and it was too spicy for me (but still very good!) This is one of our go to spots for happy hour in old town Willamette. The kids are always asking to go here. Great happy hour pricing and menu cool decor and I've always been pleased with the service. Although I usually end up eating too much and eating all the fries. Soggy tacos, no meat in the Caesar wrap with soggy lettuce, had to ask the server for more soft drink, had to walk to the back to go ask for more water because server was MIA, had to ask for silverware 3 different times, wrongs sides for the entrees and servers response was " well, you guys can figure it out". Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Our table had the chicken sliders, fries, taco salad, and shrimp kale salad. The special shrimp kale salad was recommended by the server and was delicious. I hope this special appears often. Shrimp were grilled perfectly and the fresh kale was lovely. Big enough to share. Table loved the fries, I didn't think they were special but am not a big fries lover. Taco salad was huge and delish also. Lovely server, will return. My family and I came to this restaurant today, the West Linn location. We were 6 adults and 4 kids, 4 and under. It was chaos at our table and loud and noisy and messy. The staff was so kind to us and were so accommodating. The food was delish, the drinks so so yummy. And when we had a little issue, along with the timing of our food for the kids, the general manager, Domenic Marchese, made some compensations that really made our meal exceptional. He was so compassionate and understanding toward our group that made all the difference! We really enjoyed our time at this establishment, as well as the food and the drink. I have lived 3 blocks from Lil' Cooperstown for over 6 years and I have watched it slide from not great to terrible. The last straw came last week when I went there for drinks with my girlfriend, and we sat at the bar for 20 minutes without being acknowledged by waitstaff despite being passed by more than 20 times by various servers. On the one time we were able to get someone's attention, we were told someone else would come over who never did. These people are masters of avoiding eye contact. We eventually left without ever being helped. This came as no surprise to us. Waiting 90 minutes for a meal is not unusual here. I have waited longer. This happens even if you order something simple like soup or a salad. This last point is particularly sad because salads was, at one time, one of the few things this place did right. No longer. The salads now come from a bag. An old, dried out bag. And when meals do come out, they are often spaced so far apart that one person will finish their entire meal before another person in your party is served. It shocks me that a restaurant with such consistently bad service can survive for so many years. I wish people would vote with their feet and go somewhere else so Cooperstown would clean up its act or let a different business use that space. Expect better West Linn. And there are better options. We went to the Mexican restaurant next-door and had a drink in hand within 60 seconds of walking in the door. read more

I remember when Lil' Cooperstown first opened their doors. Great bar, food was good, service was good. About ten years ago something changed and it has been a steady decline since. We stopped going about four years ago because we were disappointed almost every time we went. Service was slow and inconsistent, and food was usually subpar if not outright bad. We finally decided to give it a try again last night for the first time in years. We should have guessed when every other restaurant on the strip was busy and Lil' Cooperstown only had a few people eating inside. Despite being 80% empty, our server seemed like he would rather be anywhere else. He walked right by our table half a dozen times ignoring empty glasses. We finally had to ask if we could get a refill. When our food was dropped off, our server walked away before anyone could ask for ketchup or condiments. Not the end of the world, just poor service, especially for a restaurant with hardly any customers to worry about. The food was as bad as the service. My wife got a BLTA which came on barely toasted bread and missing the avocado. I got the prime rib that was listed on the "Specials" board. Listed as a 16oz in the menu, but our server returned to the table to inform us that all the menus are wrong, it's actually a 12oz. Whatever, I was still willing to try it. What came to the table was so far removed from what anyone would call prime rib as to be unrecognizable. It was about 2" wide and 1" thick and 6" long. It was basically a 6-79 long square. It was cooked on top and bottom and brought to the table closer to medium well than medium rare. I didn't even bother to send it back, the kitchen clearly had no idea what they were doing. If I had to guess, I would say it was an end scrap cut from the actual rib roast, but I couldn't actually identify what cut of meat it was, I've never seen anything like that served before. I feel like I'm generously giving them 2 stars because I didn't get food poisoning or anything like that. I think I can honestly say this was the last time we will bother going to Lil' Cooperstown. Too many disappointing meals to keep wasting our money hoping they decide to be good again. This was our last trip read more

Great food with nothing short about standing service! Micah was our server and was one of the most thoughtful well planned out servers I've had in a very, very long time. He was able to accommodate our four year-old daughter without us asking for anything and on top of that made sure we were happy and had everything we need without ever having to ask for a single thing. Micah is a rockstar and people like him are what make restaurants the perfect experience. Stopped in for a quick drink after work today. Must say. All around GREAT establishment. The bartender, Sophia I think her name was by far my favorite bar tender I've ever encountered. She just had such a great energy about her and you can really tell she loves what she does. I was having a super sh**** day before I came in and walked out feeling 10x better. The service here was a joke. The food was good so the cooks know what they're doing but the wait staff definitely makes you wait. Upon arriving we noticed 6-7 open tables but no sense of urgency to clear them and get people seated. We stood waiting for 20 minutes and during that time the hostess cleared 3-4 of those tables but still wouldn't seat us or any of the three parties waiting. Finally the hostess seated the first group in line but then walked past us even though there were tables ready to go. We finally just seated ourselves and throughout the meal we had to keep asking for the basics like silverware, napkins, water, etc. I don't recall the last time I've seen a more clueless staff when it comes to the basic function of a restaurant.
