My wife and I had a lunch date here. We shared a half rack of ribs, some brisket, and some smoked Mac 'n cheese. Everything was very good! The brisket was super tender and juicy. The ribs were also very tender. Something I always say is, "you know meat is cooked correctly when it needs no sauce to enjoy it." We both ate all the meat without touching the barbeque sauce! read more

Ate at the Firehole BBQ in West Yellowstone, it was fantastic, and found out about this place. Same family, same great food! I can't believe we have missed it over our many trips past this way. It will now be our regular food stop on the way home from Yellowstone. It was a little hard to get to but so worth it! We were there at 5:40pm on a Friday and while we were eating they sold out of the pulled pork and the chicken. Best to get there early!! read more

Love, love, love the Idaho nachos with pulled pork. Nice selection of sauces too. A little inconsistency based on who takes your order. Usually they offer sour cream and green onions, but not the last time we visited. No big deal. We'll be back for sure! read more

Everything about this place is absolutely PERFECT! We were waited on by a staff that provided some of the best customer service I have ever received. The atmosphere looks exactly how you want a BBQ place to look like. And the food!!! There were 4 of us and we each got something different and then shared. EVERYTHING was delicious - the meats were flavorful and super tender. The sides were delish and we especially love the corn salad and the beans - Yum. Quaint little restaurant you'll probably miss if you're not looking for it. The prices are a little more than the value of the portion sizes, but the food is good. It is noise if you sit near the soda dispenser because an air cooler is blowing on you. Overall, 4 stars because the food is quite good, but the prices are a little high and some seating can dull the experience. read more

Three words: Fresh, fresh, fresh...or the doors close. These guys are awesome. Some of the best places where I have ever eaten is fresh by day product. They buy what they believe will be consumed that day and that what they cook/sale. Once they run out (brisket, ribs, etc.) they cut it from the menu until available again. I have two opinions on brisket: I either love it or detest it. The brisket served here I could easily eat everyday! It was so good. Hubby had the half rack 6 ribs and ended up taking three home. Said they were very good. The cafe itself was spotless and fun. We will certainly be back. read more

We had Lil' Mikes cater our company picnic this summer. The truth be told, I was apprehensive to use Lil' Mikes, because I really didn't know them, and didn't live near them. I discovered them through "word of mouth" of someone I didn't know that well either. After meeting Julie & Jennifer and trying samples of what they could do I decided to risk it. They did such a good job catering our summer picnic, we had them cater 2 Christmas parties for us as well. They were professional and attentive to our needs. They made us heroes with our coworkers because their food is excellent! It is refreshing to deal with a business that does what it says it will do, at a fair price. Thank You Well Done! read more

This place has fantastic bbq! Themeat is avory and moist. The bbq sauce is flavorful and not too sweet. I love to order the pulled pork sandwich with the mac and cheese. The food always comes out super fast and hot. The menu is not huge but has a good variety. The family sampler is also fun to try. read more

Real deal BBQ. Only complaint is they should ask if you want lean or fatty brisket. (Fat trimmed or not). Otherwise probably the best in the Snake river plain. All the meats are tasty. Sides real good. read more

This place is great! Having very few food options in Rigby we are frequent visitors to this restaurant. Very good menu with a lot of options. The one negative thing I have to say is that if you go there close to closing time they always seem to be out of many of their meats. Usually only have sausage and pulled pork. Went to lil Mike's because it reminded me of all the great little dive like places I used to eat at in Springfield, Illinois! Loved it! As someone who's cooked at two different kinds of BBQ businesses, I can say they do a really good job on their cook! It's all incredibly tender and fresh tasting! Especially the ribs! I've had the ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and their potatoes. I can't remember what they were called. All were excellent! I really loved the slaw too! It was a really inviting and the staff were really friendly! Especially the blonde woman whom I'm assuming owns it! The sauce totally makes everything too! So delicious! Not to mention they sell a variety of different bottles and canned beers and drinks. I've already been twice in the last week and tried to go again but it was Sunday and they weren't open! I enjoyed the brisket sand which combo. The meat was so tender and had so much flavor, it took me by surprise. The BBQ sauce was a little watered down, but it added great flavor. The restaurant was extremely clean and tidy and the staff was extra helpful and kind. I will be back and I would recommend this place to family or friends. read more
