We always enjoy Lil Bits, wonderful service and great tasting food. Cooked to order, so it comes out hot. Lovely service and feel at home when we visit. Lots of seating indoors and outside too.

    The works

HUGE portions on the breakfast, shareable for sure. I got myself the works omelet and sub in bacon instead of ham. Bacon, bellpepper, onions, mushroom, cheese, avocado and topped with some sour cream! Really good meal Comes with house potatoes and your choice of bread , I went with sourdough. They also had home made salsa and jam that they provided at the table. Service was amazing and very attentive. You can either sit inside or outside. Plenty of space.

Food was wonderful for a nice in the cut breakfast spot. You can get the eggs however you want them. Unfortunately the servers were not as friendly and it affected my experience . Maybe because it was really busy on Valentine's Day and they were overwhelmed. Regardless the food was good

The "Popeye" with wheat toast and coffee; just awesome!!!

Food is always great and portions are substantial. Service is great every time- I usually sit at the counter when it's just me but there is plenty of seating in front and in back of the place. Ordered the "Popeye," which is my go to breakfast (spinach, bacon, mushrooms all on top of home fries). A MUST with breakfast is their homemade salsa which is hotter than hell; but SO DAMN GOOD! This place is a Grover Beach institution- come here and eat well!

Dirty windows, torn screen, peeling paint, food on carpet.

Both the food and the service is good,BUT the restaurant just needs to be cleaned up. The windows were dirty, the screens were torn, nobody had picked up the crumbs and bits of paper off the carpeting, the paint was peeling off the walls. The food wasn't cheap, but good. Coffee was $4.50 which seems high. But the main reason we won't be back as it just seemed dirty inside

    Homemade corn beef and hash!!!

I never asked for corn beef and hash, but I had it here one time and I've been addicted every since! It's homemade and it really has such great flavor. I highly recommend the corn beef and hash.

Amazing home made food! The country scramble and Popeyes scramble will keep us full til dinner! Great coffee but best of all service is on point!

The prices here are really good. The food is really great. The bacon and the sausage are cooked the way I enjoy it not super crispy and crunchy but just good pancakes were great eggs were on point and the potatoes were really good too. There was one server to handle the whole restaurant so you can't complain about things that take long but everything was quick and fast. Definitely coming back here when I'm back in town.

    Monte Cristo Sandwich
    Mauricio G.

This sandwich is hands down one of the best I've ever had! It was my first time trying the Monte Cristo, and wow, the homemade jam and French toast flavor were amazing. It's definitely a 5-star sandwich, and the service was even better. Our waiter was so polite, courteous, and attentive; she deserves 5 stars too, and the place was small and nice very welcoming, homey type of feeling. My daughter had the meat lovers omelette with French toast, and she loved it too. I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about eating here.

Bbq chicken wrap ( he added the fries ) so yummy!

Everyone liked their food and the service was good. We got French toast and a breakfast burrito with homemade chorizo.

Are we back to a new normal where we can eat at the counter again?

I believe so. When I ate there a little while back we sat at the counter

What do you put in your gravy? We don't eat pork so I wanted to ask ahead. Everything looks delicious!

I believe it's sausage gravy. Most breakfast gravy is made with either sausage or bacon grease.

Since the weather was gorgeous and we had our dog with us, we chose to sit outside. Street parking can be a bit tight due to beachgoers and nearby shops. Their menu covers breakfast, burgers, tacos, fish & chips, salads, soups, and hot or cold sandwiches, plus beer and cocktails. We ordered the 'Cuban Sandwich' (hot pulled pork, ham, provolone, mustard, mayo, and pickles on a perfectly toasted, soft French roll) and the 'Turkey Sandwich' (cold). Both came with curly fries and were fresh and yummy. Personally, I prefer chips over fries with a cold sandwich, but the food was still excellent. Customer service was top-notch. Shout out to Gabriel for being welcoming and friendly. We had a great lunch and will definitely be back to try more.

Fully loaded Bloody Mary's with a choice between 16 and 20 ounces. You get three shrimps, two strips of smokey bacon, three olives, and a pepper. Recommend 16 ounces as there wasn't much of an obvious difference. Wasn't stiff enough but fulfilling with a great kick of spice to the throat. Freddy Sandwich is a must have. Opted plain fries for chili cheese fries instead. The sandwich alone was the highlight. Slices of tri-tip hit the spot with BBQ sauce and avocado. Friendly customer service. An inviting atmosphere. Been told they have happy hour on appetizers. Would love to try on a followup visit.

Soooo...Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach is apparently now their only venue (the location on Tank Farm…read moreroad in SLO changed a while back to "Petras"). We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.
