Location: Same parking lot as Little Joe's (all owned by the same company) Parking is in front of the store, on the sides and some in the back. Items: They have grab and go items like cookies, brownies, chex mix etc. Then you have their amazing cakes and pies and fancy custard cups. Move over to their pastry area and they have savory items as well as sweet. You can get the old school hot dog in the bun treat or go with their poi donuts. You simply can't go wrong. They use a pull the number type of system so when you walk in, go grab a number first then look at all the things you want to get. I've always gotten baked goods like liliha bakery but have actually never dined in. So my first time was a pretty pleasant experience. We were seated quickly and the ambiance of the bakery felt like a vintage diner due to its decorations and warm lighting. I really didn't know what I wanted to eat so I took a while to decide as nothing stood out to me on the menu. My partner picked for me as I was really stuck and I got the steak and grilled shrimp. I asked for no rice so I just got corn and salad (dressing in the side). It was pretty good, the shrimp was flavorful and the steak was good as well. Main complaint is that due to the inconsistency size of the steak, some parts were much more cooked than others, so some would be considered as medium well others would be considered as rare even... This led to some parts being slightly chewy as well. The complimentary bread was devoured by my partner so I didn't even get a chance to try, however he loved it and I could smell the buttery goodness it was. They have a very large sweets and baked goods selection and I was sooo tempted but just wasn't in the mood unfortunately (rare for me that's for sure). Though, I have tried their poi mochi donuts and they are to die for. I would personally take them over their iconic cream puffs *crowd gasps*. This place is a GO TO for me before heading to the airport. Breakfast is unique that there IS NOT BIG portions with mounds of rice. Eggs Florentine is nicely plated with a small green salad. The eggs are on top of their signature corn bread. I would have liked a bit more spinach in the eggs but there was plenty of Portuguese sausage bits and the eggs were fluffy. My first stop right after coming off the plane! This place is delicious and very homey. The staff is so nice and friendly, they took such good care of us! We started off with their signature grilled butter roll. Super buttery, soft, and melts in your mouth! For my entree of course I had to have the Loco Moco. It was moist and full of flavor. It was a huge portion size and I would've finished all of it if I could! I really enjoy the gravy here as it's not too overly salted or overbearing. Before we left we also got some Cream Puffs! Since the original location on Liliha Street was full, we took a quick 10-minute drive to the Nimitz location where we happily found parking in the backside lot. After checking in on the self serve kiosk, our party of three were seated after a 10 minute wait. That was enough time to eyeball the bakery section and excite our sweet tooth! Our friendly server was at our table with water cups and hard cover menus. Note to self, bring reading glasses because type size is too small for these eyeballs! My dining companions ordered: kim Chee fried rice with over easy eggs and bacon; and the ultimate French toast with nuts and berries. For me, a fruit bowl (sliced banana, strawberries and blueberries) and side of breakfast fried potatoes. It's not on the menu but can be ordered, and it's served as thick golden slices. Mmmmm! Our meals came out quickly, and what can I say except it was comfort in a plate! Chef's kiss. Ended the meal with the signature coco puff that my dining companions split and then gracefully wished they had it all to themselves. Prices are higher than I remember but everything is these days. You CANT come to Hawaii and not go to Liliha Bakery!! A true classic on Oahu and the only place that makes the most amazing cream puffs. There are 4 flavor options for cream puffs -- original , chocolate, chantilly, and matcha. Honestly, they're all delicious! But if I HAD to rate them, the matcha and chantilly ones are the best. The chantilly ones, known as coco puffs, are the most popular, and it's totally understandable why. Slightly salty, slightly sweet, with a beautiful crunchy shell and a creamy chocolate cream interior. Pure perfection. I also love the ube pon de ring Mochi donuts and the chantilly cakes. There is a number system when you get into the bakery. Service is quick and efficient and they pack everything nicely into a liliha bakery box. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Liliha Bakery Nimitz! We arrived about 8pm and was quickly seated within 10 minutes. The restaurant was still busy with most of the tables filled with happy customers enjoying their food. We were seated at a table and our waitress quickly came to see us and asked if we wanted change seats because that particular table got pretty cold because of the AC. I thought that was pretty attentive of her and we ended up changing table which was an excellent idea. Our first delightful surprise was the complimentary grilled butter roll with jelly. It was a perfect little treat to start off our meal and a very classic item at Liliha Bakery. We were extremely hungry so it held us over before our meals came. I ordered the BLT with avocado, my favorite item to eat there and it was excellent as always. my favorite part of the sandwich is the bacon because it's always so crispy, just like I like it. The balance of filling to bread was spot on. Alongside that, we ordered the chicken karaage, which was incredibly tasty and flavorful. It had a couple of sauces on the chicken that added to the dish making it well seasoned. The only downside was the tight parking due to the popularity of the area, but the quick and friendly service made up for it. Overall, a great experience with delicious food. Came here around 10 AM on a Monday morning to grab some pastries before hiking Manoa Falls. There's a parking lot out back and we had no trouble finding a spot. I was eager to try their green tea cream puff, but unfortunately they didn't have a batch ready yet. My friend and I decided to get 1 lilikoi malasada, 1 poi mochi donut, and one onion roll. I've determined that I'm not a huge malasada fan in general, but I was a bit disappointed by the filling as well. The lilikoi flavor was a bit too faint for my taste. My friend and I both liked the poi mochi donut and the onion roll the best. I haven't had too many poi things in my life so hard to speak on how the poi flavor shined through, but texture wise it was nice and chewy. The onion roll was very soft and had a nice savory flavor. Liliha was our first meal in Oahu and it was a mixed experience. I had the highest expectations for their famous cream and coco puffs, but unfortunately those were the most one-note. The loco moco was also disappointing due to being overly salty. However, there were definite hits: the mac salad was the best we had during our trip, the miso butterfish was a favorite, and the famous butter rolls lived up to their name. We also had the country omelette which was pretty good, but not that remarkable. Parking is scarce--we came on a weekday around 1pm and were lucky to snag the last parking spot, but there were many tables to spare. I loved my Florentine eggs which were brought to me like a five-star restaurant and tasted heavenly! Don't let the "Bakery" title fool you because they also offer a great Hawaiian food dining experience! Liliha Bakery was very packed even during a regular weekday lunch hour. We waited about 15 minutes to get seated. Meanwhile, we browsed around the many different options of baked goods they have - and honestly, everything was so mouth-watering. They have donuts, cupcakes, cakes, cookies, pies, and many other options, but my favorite had to be their coco puffs! Their puffs were very creamy and just had the right sweetness level. As for their food, they also offer a variety of options on their menu. From breakfast and rice plates to burgers and sandwiches, you have plenty of food to choose from! I ordered their mushroom chicken with a side of brown rice, corn, and potato mac-salad. Despite being drenched in the mushroom gravy, the chicken was still very crispy. Liliha Bakery has been around for years. Finally got to go there for breakfast. Our group of seven was able to walk in around 830 am and be seated in less than 10 minutes. There are so many menu options. Sweet, savory, you name it. Our group ordered the Smoked Pork Belly and eggs, Omlette with fried rice, and pancakes. We really enjoyed the pork belly and fried rice. Pork belly is usually not something we have at breakfast,  so it was a treat. We also received butter rolls with jelly. Yum! Our server Jon was great. Jon took our drink and food orders quickly. Service: The service at the bakery counter & the take out counter was friendly, good and professional. The ambiance is clean and big with plenty of tables, but i did take out instead. The 2 stars is for the policy that they don't do saimin for take out, only dine in only. I was disappointed but very happy that i didn't lash out & get angry. For take out i ordered the grilled salmon and 16 oz prime rib rare. The food was very expensive but it was a let down. The prime rib was not cooked rare ,ended up being medium to medium well & the grilled salmon was slightly overcooked and dry. Liliha bakery is an institution in Hawaii. Known for their incredible diner food that evokes the long lost generation of lard and times when you weren't worried about cholesterol. Remember My Cousin Vinny, when he talks about "the ongoing problem of cholesterol". Well, we are finding out lard is actually good for you along with BACON so who knows? BUT Liliha Bakery is also known for their incredible selection of pastries. Listen here, it looks incredible and the selection is fabulous, but truth be told, things are a little dry. This extends to most of their selection. I don't know what the missing ingredient is - maybe it's because it's not oozing oil like other places down the road? In any case, sometimes I wish their top notch selection had a little more "moisture". In any case, it's an awesome place to hit after going comatose on Little Joe's steak and fried rice. Original location located in Liliha only bar seating. There are 3 other locations on the island 1) in Macy's Ala Moana, 2) International Market Place in Waikiki, and 3) Pearl City Highlands Shopping center near the movie theaters. Do I even need to review this place? It should be another must on your meal list plans. Even when busy, they seat pretty fast. And they are able to do so with their fast and friendly service. I grabbed a couple of cream puffs while waiting and barely finished them by the time my group sat down. They were so puffy with just the right amount of sweet fillings. I realized that was a mistake as soon as I saw how big the plates were. I recommend getting some on your way out and taking them home. The dining area reminded me of a hustling and bustling big city diner, but with the friendly vibe of the islanders. This was the first place I tried loco moco at and I was not disappointed. This bakery and diner is great for early risers, opening at 6am! It's our go to place for a delicious breakfast for when we are jet lagged. They've got traditional diner items and also local favorites like smoked pork belly and fried rice, kimchi fried rice, oxtail soup and miso butterfish. Servers are friendly but can get slow during busy hours. I don't know when they remodeled but it's definitely nicer nowadays! Service at this location at the bakery counter has always been a constant for me. The ladies here are unwelcoming but I bypass this because of the delicious pastries and desserts. Today, I got the lady fingers which was soft and delicious as usual! I also ordered two cakes this time, 1 chocolate dobash which is the best dobash in my opinion on the island. The second cake I got is where disappointment comes into play. We got the fresh banana chantilly! We love bananas and we love their chantilly, but when when we got home, the cake was completely cracked and crumbled down the side of the cake and when we went to cut a slice it was basically impossible as it crumbled . Not sure if we were sold an "old cake" , but the icing was coming off in chunks. So very disappointed as this was served at my grandsons birthday and it was too late to return it ( 45 minute drive home, at least), from bakery. We will surely not he getting that cake again and hope Liliha rotates their inventory as to not let old cakes be sold to consumers at prices we pay. read more

Not only we live less than 5 minutes from that LB Kuakini Location, we've been regulars at that location forevers I mean forever, since my Hubby & I have been dating, blah, blah, blah!! Haha... Getting back to this Liliha Bakery Nimitz, we definitely notice that this LB has a more wider range of more Delicious items to order from their Menu! My Hubby has orderd their Miso Butterfish Several times so far & enjoys that dish all the times he has eaten it here. My Hubby says that their Coffee isn't strong like LB Kuakini location, but I like their Coffee at both locations, Mahalo! Both of us enjoys the butter rolls here & of course with their famous Pink Jelly to go with it, yessss please! Lol. As for me, I really enjoy their Mushroom Chicken plate, it's SO Super Duper good tasting, comes with Mushrooms too & their Gravy is the Bomb!!, I like the Gravy here more!!
