I have no idea he didn't put on it before apply the clear gel base. I ask him, but he seem Dont understand English, so I assume the one he put on maybe is the primer. but that's not the kind of I usually have. I do my gel nail myself and outside all the time, but I just lazy so I go out to have someone do it for me. 2. He done it super fast, just 30 mins complete. No primer, one layer clean base, 2 layers of the color, then properly top clean gel. He done fast fast even I don't realized he did the top gel. So I ask him again, he seem really don't understand. So the other lady who worked there and the customer try to translate for him, so I don't understand Vietnamese, so the conversation between and the lady works there didn't even give me answer so the lady call the boss, but the boss seem confuse too. But at the end No answer me at all. 3. He done the gel overlap my nail cuticle. I told him that won't last long, because once it grow, there has a gas between that so the gel will easy Pill out!!!and he is not supposed to done it overlaps my cuticle. 4.Also My gel color super uneven on my right hand the first three fingers after I walk out the store. Walking by the business and a poster display of their waxing services and different types of eyebrow shapes caught my interest. After 2 years of regrowing my eyebrows, I let the technician know I only wanted a clean up, keep my eyebrows thick and square in the front. I also let her know it took me 2 years to regrow my eyebrows! Well, all that work if caring for my eyebrows out the window! The technician did not listen to a word I said. I walked out with thinner eyebrows and rounded front of my eyebrows. There was no point of pointing to their display of eyebrows so she knew what I was looking for or talking her through my concerns. I was in desperate need of a manicure before my trip and Lily's was the only place open past 7 and didn't have a one hour wait (or so they told me when I called..). I popped in and what was supposed to be no wait turned into a 30 minute wait. Didn't seem like they had a very big staff, but the half hour I did sit there, they were very accommodating and were offering me drinks and making sure that I knew that they're almost ready for me. Finally time for my gel manicure - I didn't get cut, but my cuticles were not cleaned up too well. I didn't really notice until I got home and had to clean it up on my own. It's been exactly a week and my gel is already starting to lift, which is extremely disappointing. For the most part, it's a pretty even application, but two nails were a little bumpy. Everyone please stay away from this salon. They will try to scam you, cut you horrifically and do a crappy job. I called ahead and they told me for a full set of acrylic would be $35. Cool. I showed a picture of the color I wanted and my tech matched it with polish. I asked if they had that in gel. She said yes. Well getting my service done I noticed that the sides of my nails were burning as she filed, but I'm not one to complain. Also she seemed to be in a huge rush. I called yesterday 5/7/21 to make an appointment for Acrylic nails. Lily picked up said I can come in at 2:30 and I specifically asked for mike and she informed me that mike isn't working there anymore. I said okay umm, what about...(I was about to ask if Lynn was available) but she cut me off and said "Kevin will do it come". I get in there I say I have an appointment with "Kevin" and all the ladies are looking at me like crazy. 3 of them confused and told me there is no Kevin. So Lynn came over asked what I needed done and she said "can you come back in an hour?" I told her but I am here and I had an appointment. Lynn informed me that the only two people who know how to do acrylic nails are busy right now. I am about to walk out because I am frustrated at this point, this other lady says "come honey sit right here lily will take care of you" so I sat for a good 20 minutes and then Lily came with her baby boy who looked terribly sick. At this point now I just feel like a crappy person to make this mom do my nails with her sick son in her arms. She quickly does the powder like super thick, I said I don't like them thick because they're going to peel off the next day to which she responds "no, better for you" okay but I have been here before and my nails were done better! I repeated "I don't like" in meantime she jumps back and forth to do someone else's nails while I am sitting there and then come back to me looks at my nails and calls one of the ladies who specifically said she doesn't know how to do acrylic. She talks to the lady in their language and lily leaves. Lady looks at my nails grabs the color and I am like " are you going to reduce the powder thickness?because I don't like" she say "no honey it's okay" but it was nit okay it's ugly and looking bad. But I was tired of sitting there for almost 3 hours and I just want to leave so she painted my nails WRONG may add. Then I get to pay she says $50 and ask do you want to add a tip with my annoyance I said sure. I left disappointed knowing the $50 I paid wasn't worth it. For acrylic I shouldn't be adding glue to make them stay the next day! Especially after I said I don't like them thick. Sat me down for my pedicure in a spa chair. The lady who did my pedicure was friendly and did a good job on my toes. The main reason for writing this review is for the amazing job Henry did on my acrylic set. He took his time and did not leave anything undone. Used 4 different nail bits while shaping my nail. Took the time to try different nail colors to get the color I was happy with and then tried the design on one nail to make sure I liked it before continuing on all the rest! I got an almond shape nail with a slight point at the tip and a gold glitter gradient (fade) on a natural color nail. I'm in love! Henry has only worked there 5 months and this place has been open for 13 months. Very small but great quality of work and very friendly staff. I will be back. I would never go here again. A woman named "Helen" did my toes and nails. She half assed everything! She was so busy worrying about everyone else in the place she was rushing through my service. She half assed my toes and my nails. I went with my MIL and she was more worried about what my mother in law was saying to the other girl then worrying about what she was doing. She was asking my MIL what she was saying to the woman bc "she didn't speak English well". Ma'am worried about me she's grown! She was seemed to have an attitude. My nails are already chipped. It hasn't even been 24hrs!!! I can paint my own nails and they last longer than that! I haven't done anything more than taking a shower. No dishes or anything. There was an ant on my chair and I got the seat where the foot bowl didn't work so my feet just sat there in lukewarm water. The whole experience was not good. My nails were decently long when I walked in. I asked for square shape and I got what ever the heck you call this shape. They reduced so much from the corner of my thumb that it's literally in pain.
