This was my togo spot for years and i hadnt came for 2 months since ive been busy for work. I wanted to finally givemyself some time off n pamper myself. I came im with the intent to relax finally but it was not. To begin i know everythig went up and everything is expensive i get that. I was offered the $50 for a "special deluxe pedicure" which has been there since a long time with a gell removal $3 and gel polish wich is $12 =$63 . But i didnt want that since i just wanted a gel removal $3 and white gel ped with glitter$35 something simple that costs $38 .Side note: The massage chair did not work big deal but for those prices atleast that should work. The nail tech seemed upset as if I was wasting her time just because i didnt chose the special. She began to file out the prev gel which was from here and the filling got hot i jumped since it hurt n she said "Oh to hot" and laughed i just simply said yes sorry and she stood quiet. Then she cuts my nails and stabed me with the nail pick to remove dead skin . I jumped again n she just smiled. I said im sorry that hurts n she said "ok ok" n did not clean up my left foot. She was grabing my foot hard n pulling them. She then left to charge another customer. Came back and started to prep my nails for gel polish. No soap scrub no nothing.she then began to paint my nails glitter only n put them under UV light. I told her oh i wanted white n glitter on top she said oh to late i already did 2 toes. I didnt want to argue so i said ok thats fine.Once finished she started putting cuticle oil on my feet and started to "rub my foot" all she did was squeeze my foot twice as she was looking at 2 customers walk in. She then got the towel that was on the foot rest and suposedly wiped my foot down and then told me she was done. I told her oh thats it and she said ok pay $45 like what i thought it was $38 . I then said ok and walked to the register. I was litterly slipping on the left over oil and still have her a $5 tip. That last thing i wanna do is cause a scene or complain but im tired to staying quiet and being treated that way. So i said i just want to let you know that i didnt appreciate your service and to please treat people the same way regardless of how much is spent money is money and now in days ped are a luxury to some people who cant aford the luxury. If I could give this place zero stars I would. So me and my daughter went to get pedicures and my daughter decided to get a manicure too. During my pedicure this gentleman with glasses did my feet just let's say he wasn't gentle at all he cut me where my big toe is completely red and hurts and to top if off he applys 4 layers of nail polish that tell now is still not completely dry that's 9 hours later and are still not dry. My daughter's manicure is ok but she had design done that looks like a two year old did it. Other then that the girl that did hers did a ok job. And tell me how the hell is two pedicures and one manicure 150$ when I only got regular nail polish and nothing special done. read more

I hate writing negative reviews of mom/pop type shops but I didn't have a great experience. -Service. There were only 3 customers when I was there but everyone kind of ignored us. Nobody was smiling, no one offered drinks, they were more like, come over here and sit down. -The water they used to soak my nails was room temperature. I personally hate that. It makes me feel like I'm floating in dirty water. She didn't even ask me about the temperature -The whole nail shop had bad ventilation, I could still smell all the fumes hours later -No massage chairs -It just felt cramped in there. read more

I believe they opened not long ago and I was one of their first customers during that time, but I have been here up to 6 times now. They have gel, mani-pedi, waxing and more services including acrylic. They do accept debit & cash! I haven't had a problem with them, they actually take their time on you which I love and great color selection. Since COVID their prices have gone up. A simple full set that used to cost around $40 is now $50. I was so surprised when I went to pay. My acrylics were terrible! The next day I noticed that the plastic part of the nails were detached from my real nail... on several of my fingers! I was so sad, because i waited months to get my nails done. Did this man use old glue?? Or what? I ended up taking off the brand new set the next day. I literally just peeled most of them off. So $50 for a full set that only lasted me 2 days? What a waste!! He also didn't file my cuticles to blend in with my acrylic he laid acrylic on top of the cuticle instead. And he didn't paint the whole nail. He missed the sides.. I was too upset to even take a picture. I wont be going back. I wanted to go back in person to complain, but I chose not to. Ill just go somewhere else. I am really upset at the quality of nails. Update! I've been here many times now and actually am on my second stamp card. Tonight I got my favorite nails done by far so I wanted to update this review and post a picture :) I've been here twice and both times I've been soo happy with my nails. The store is easy to find, just look for the store number on the front. The first time I went, I came in around 2 on a Wednesday and was worked on right away. An hour and a half later, I had beautiful almond acrylics and a gel manicure. I believe the manicurist's name was Maria. She really pays attention to detail and will spend a lot of time comparing nails to make sure your hands match and she asks frequently how you like it. The nails didn't start to lift until 2 weeks and even 4 and a half weeks later, the gel was almost perfect. Just around the tips was starting to wear slightly. The second time I went was on a Thursday at 4. I had to wait around 40 minutes but it was my fault for not making an appointment. I waited too long between fills so instead of a fill, I had to get new nails but I was expecting I'd have to. I'm so happy with my nails, they turned out even better than I could have hoped for; I asked for almond acrylics with a slightly more pointed tip than the first time and she (the same woman I had the first time) did exactly what I had in mind. She always checked to see if I was happy with my nails and is such a perfectionist. A separate manicurist did the chrome and she was very gentle and friendly. For $55+$11 tip ($5 to take off old nails +$27 manicure +$10 gel +$13 chrome), I can say it was more than worth the price! They definitely found a new customer. read more

My mom and I made an appointment at 5 for gel manicures and pedicures. We spent a whopping 3 hours there. For a gel manicure and pedicure it was $40. So.. If you have a lot of time to spare, then I'd recommend going here. Price wise they're a couple bucks cheaper than most, but the amount of time you spend there.. I'd rather pay the few extra bucks. The place is really small. There's 4 pedicure chairs and maybe 2 manicure tables. But staff wise, there's maybe 5 people at most working, so they had to turn people away or have people come back around 7 when they're not as busy. I went on a Thursday, but Wednesday's are even busier because of their special 10% off. Oh, and if you're getting just a manicure or gel then I'd maybe advise bringing earbuds.. or talking with the lady because one of the tables they use is under the tv, so it's hard to watch and there isn't much to do without your hands.. also, the place is small so there isn't much to look at.. if you tried to people watch, they're literally facing you so they'll know.. They have a great selection of colors. It's placed all around the walls. They also have free refreshments. However, when we went their ac was broken so it was pretty hot. All in all, the staff is super nice and did a really good job. They took their time and was very detailed. Which is always very much appreciated. I like this location better than the original Lily's, because last time I went there they cut my toe and made me bleed. There's also a parking structure which is super close. 1.5 Star Found this place on Yelp. I messaged the number based on Lily2's brochure to make appointment. On the brochure, it said 10% off for grand opening for 3 months and of course, when I went (today), it was still within the 3 months period. To avoid misunderstanding, I made appointment with Lily and clearly asked her if I still have the 10% off if I make appointment with her for the coming Saturday and she said YES. Ok so on the appointment date, I arrived and was ready for pedicure, out of nowhere staff said $17 ( their regular price) so I told them I actually double checked with Lily and she mentioned I got 10% off. These two nail ladies just told me whoever texted me worked in the Lily salon in the different location and 10% off only valid on Wednesday....ARE YOU SERIOUS? Then why no one told me that and also it DID NOT say that on the brochure. Whatever at that point I was ready in a pedi mood so I decided to not argue about this since there is nothing I can do even show them the message. Here is to the service part. I've done countless pedicure with white/light color. For some reason, this pedi lady applied three layers of the white/cream color I picked and the color still looked super uneven and thin. I totally understand the techniques of some pedi lady who could magically apply couple polish on nails and make those color look super sature and even. This did not happen here. I can see the bubbles and uneven part on my pedicure. Also for the whole time while I am doing pedi, the place was steamy hot and I was sweating. My usual nail salon was closed so I decided to give Lily's a try. I called to ask if walk-ins were being accepted and was able to come in right away! The first thing I noticed about Lily's is how friendly everyone was. I was greeted right when I walked in and offered water. My mani and pedi nail techs both made small conversation and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. Sometimes conversations at nail salons can be painful to get through and it wasn't like that at Lily's whatsoever. While Lily's gel color selection wasn't as vast as some of the other salons that I've been to, they still have an amazing selection of colors (some of which are very unique). They also have spa chairs for pedicures BUT they put plastic tubs of water in the spa tub instead of utilizing the actual spa itself. (This was kind of a bummer because I love the jets in the spa.) Both my gel mani and my pedi came out beautiful. I picked a neon-yellow polish and the color came out bright and even. The nail techs were gentle and did a good job cleaning up my cuticles and cutting/scrubbing away all my dead/dry skin. Aside from having great customer service and doing a good job on my nails, the salon was clean and their prices are very cheap. I paid $41 for gel removal, gel mani, and a spa pedicure. I am pretty loyal to my existing nail salon but I'll be sprinkling in visits to Lily's from now on. Credit cards are accepted and there is street parking, parking behind the building, or parking at the parking structure right across the street. Four stars: +1 for a job well done +1 for customer service +1 for cleanliness +1 for gel color selection. I am holding back 1 star for ambiance. To me, a 5 star salon is going to look like something you'd find in Beverly Hills. This salon is just a mom & pop shop with no thrills as far as ambiance is concerned. I came for a fill with two broken nails, my technician was nice and good. Then mid way some random lady came to relieve her while she worked with someone else. She was rushing and filing super hard. After her saying sorry multiple times I got over it. But here's the thing. Tell Me Why the Heck there are two children running back and forth yelling and grabbing things around the salon. And the older man and women who brought them didn't do shit. Bottom line: Nails rate 8 Atmosphere -30 I come here to relax and enjoying pampering not here some little kids yell and run back and forth and touch things. Beyond disappointed!!!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! I had called to come get a gel manicure. Woman on the phone said it would be $24 and no charge to take off old gel manicure. Came in and an older lady began taking off my old gel. She was taking her time and doing it correctly. Suddenly, four other people come in and she began to RUSH! Not only that, but the other 3 workers began to run around and they were CLEARLY rushing everyone out of there. One of the coworkers even began sweating/panting. The older lady working on me began painting my nails really fast. You could clearly tell she was rushing through it. She didn't even double check the edges when I could see it from far away. There were also air bubbles. After two coats and me constantly saying that it wasn't even. She just kept telling me, "it's okay. It will be okay when I clean it." Ugh, it didn't change and was still messy. You can't really go backwards and clean up after your mistake when you are doing gel nail polish, you have to do it right all the way. After she cleaned and everything, and I told her 6/10 fingers were messy. The corners near my cuticles weren't even painted over evenly nor were they cleaned properly. Which is why it led to so many bumps and uneven texture! She then passed it over to Lily who just took it all off for me. But while during this process, they were talking smack about me in Vietnamese. Basically mocking me, little did they know, I speak Vietnamese and heard every last word. Even with the horrible work that was done on me, they still made me pay!!! They made me pay full price for a manicure and to pay to remove the original gel that I had on (they said it would be free!)! This totaled out to $17. Pearl Nails in Rosemead is about $17 bucks! Like WTH. ***Do not come here! Very bad work, Vietnamese ladies talking mad crap about you, and bad customer service. read more

I made an appointment for 6:45pm, but I got there a little earlier around 6:30pm. There were only 3 technicians, so I had to wait a little bit. They started on my gel pedicure and experience was pretty good. Had a scrub down and everything. Then another technician did my gel manicure. I was at the nail salon from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. And they actually did not rush their service as well. My manicure technician took her time and tried to do a really good job and I am absolutely in love with my baby pink nails. I am hoping it lasts for a long time. For prices, I paid $53 for gel mani and pedi. Pedicure is a little more expensive I believe, $29. Mani is $24. Prices are around the same as other nail salons. & they also accept credit cards! read more

I am beyond disappointed! I went in after a very long day at work and really looking forward to my gel mani. Upon getting there, excitement still on. When it's my turn and realized my nail tech, she was much older and looked very fragile. I had doubts but gave her the benign of the doubt. We did. It get too far.... I kept looking at my nails and she kept asking me "what's wrong" I point out a few times the "skin/cuticle" evidently still there ... as if none had been cleaned so she would "cut it off" but it was still there. As she "finished cutting the cuticle " portion and proceeded to clean and prep me for the gel, I became really concerned... if my cuticle is still there and I'm about to get gel color.. it's not going to look pretty. I decided to stop the session and just pay $12 ... why continue to pay $24 for gel when my cuticles are still there. I came home very disappointed and decided to cut the excess cuticle and I was a lot... why did I pay $12 for services that weren't rendered. Initially I was happy with Lily's Nails but she has several older techs who are very shaky and scare me. Lily is good but not her older techs. I'm sad to say this will be my last visit. Made the mistake of going on a Saturday afternoon about an hour before close. I did not mind the wait, I knew it was partially my fault for coming so late. But the service provided was uncalled for. One of the ladies doing another customer's nails had stopped what she was doing to let us know she'll be helping us in 15 minutes - I assumed it was after she was finished with the client she had in front of her. So 15 minutes went by, and she was still assisting the same client. OK - don't mind that. another 10 minutes went by, and she was finally done. She didn't signal me to walk over to her work station, but I got up and started walking over anyways. She initially told me she'd be helping me in 15 minutes, 25 minutes ago. As I get closer to her station, she seats another client down in front of her. That customer had been in the salon for no more than 10 minutes, while we had sat there for almost an hour. It was so rude, and I believe she helped her because they were good friends. Please don't tell me you'll be assisting me within a specific time frame & not keep your word. Unfortunately my experience here is now poor. I travel a lot for work but this was my go to nail spa whenever I am back in town. Recently, whenever I made an appointment with Lily, she is still working on another client or during my service, she is constantly getting up to take care of some stuff. I didn't mind. I understand that she is the owner and is very busy. I was patient and loved her service. It was until my recent appointment, I just couldn't wait so I didn't mind going to another person. However, the new person who did my nails made my acrylic layer to thin. My nail broke the next day and a second nail broke the day after. I shared my concern with Lily and she told me she'd take care of me on Saturday at 3PM. Keep in mind, I did not care for the persons mistake as it was late at night. I even tipped him generously because I loved how gentle he was. I am not upset that my nails broke. Mistakes happen. I am updating my review mainly because the staff had me wait for 30 minutes when I arrived to fix my nail without telling me Lily was not there. Someone could have offered to help fix my nails in place of lily. No one offered and no one let me know lily was not even in the store at all. Came here to get my manicure done last minute and really loved how my nails turned out. My nails looked so fresh after my appointment and cuticles were cleaned out nicely. Their nail place is in conjunction with another salon and threading place, which is convenient for those who desperately need to grooming day. But with that being said, the nail area is smaller than most places (I think there was maybe 2 manicure tables and 3 massage chairs for pedicures) so it could get packed during peak hours. They have a good range of colors (i.e. pastels, dark, glitter, patterns) and brands to choose from (i.e. Essie, OPI, & 2,3 more than I can't remember). As for their service, nothing too impressive tbh but I did appreciate how the manicurist wasn't too pushy when I didn't want to get a pedicure. I also appreciated how she was willing to redo two of my nails when they got messed up.
