This was an excellent experience. The atmosphere had a vibe to it and there are both indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu has an abundance of options and the cocktails are perfectly crafted for the adventure drinker. The customer experience was enhanced by excellent customer service with our waiter who asked a lot of great questions to guide us through the menu. Additionally, he timed the food to come out at a great pace and the kudos to the kitchen staff as the food had great food presentation when plated. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to Walnut Creek area.

I liked all the dishes they served. Nice Peruvian dinner house with decent ambience. Definitely would come back!

I've heard so many great things about Limon so it was about time I tried it out! We went to the Walnut Creek location and it was poppin on a Sunday! Luckily though, we didn't have an issue making a same day reservation. Once we were sat, it did take a bit for our server to get to us, but Wilfredo did great balancing how busy it was. So, we didn't really have an issue with it. He is so great we loved our interactions with him! For food, we ordered the Ceviche Limon, which had a combination of bright and citrusy (a lil spicy) sauce with fresh raw red snapper, squid, and shrimp with fried, crispy calamari tentacles. The combination of textures and flavors was delicious. We did opt in for the taro chips, which was the perfect vessel for the ceviche. We also ordered the Piqueo sampler, which had their chicharron de pollo, beef empanadas, platano frito, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, though I was not super wowed by the empanadas and the yuca fries were a bit stale. The star of the show was the Fiesta de Carnes, which was their all meat platter with ribeye steak, grilled chicken, and pork belly with roasted potatoes chimichurri and aji amarillo. Ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the grilled chicken was quite literally the juiciest chicken I've had in a while. However, the pork belly was not crisp enough for both me and the amount of fat that the pork belly had. Had it been crispier this dish would have been 10/10. The aji amarillo was so good, not as spicy as other versions I've had before. I think it is worth the $2 they charge for extra. It was simplistic in decor but still fitting for the Peruvian cuisine the place executes well. Will be coming back to try pollo a la brasa or the arroz con mariscos.

Flavorful Peruvian comfort food with a lively atmosphere Had a meal at Limon in Walnut Creek and tried the polli papas, empanadas, and truffle mac and cheese. The polli papas were delicious and comforting. The chicken was juicy and flavorful with nicely seasoned skin, while the fries were crispy and perfect for dipping into the sauces. The empanadas were a great starter. It's golden, flaky, and filled with savory, well-seasoned ingredients. The truffle mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and indulgent with a nice truffle aroma that wasn't overpowering. It was the perfect comfort-food side and paired surprisingly well with the chicken. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the food arrived quickly. The vibe is energetic and inviting, with a modern atmosphere that's great for both casual lunches and dinner outings. It feels lively without being overwhelming, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with flavorful food, great service, and plenty of comforting dishes. I'd definitely come back to try more of their Peruvian specialties.

Delicious, delicious, delicious food. Everything was so fresh, the ceviche was a delight to eat. The crispy pork belly chaufa was such a huge portion, had pork belly on top but also yummy bacon bits inside the rice. The sauce for the lomo saltado was so savory. Amazing service and lively atmosphere.

I celebrated a friend's surprise 40th birthday here the other weekend. They allowed us to come in before the birthday girl arrived to help set up. We also were able to order from the menu rather than have a required prix fixe menu, so that was nice. I had the empanadas: the chicken and veggie ones were great. The cheese one was fine. The beef one, however, was not very good. The margaritas were nice! I had one classic, and one spicy cucumber one. The spicy cucumber one gave me heartburn, but it was worth it. Good place to come!

Service and Staff: - Came here on a Saturday evening during dinner time, so we expected a wait. The hostess took our information down and said it would be about a 30 minute wait. After 30 minutes, I went to go check on our place in line. I came in right after someone who had just entered. She said she wanted a table for 2 and the hostess seated her right away. After the hostess came back, I asked about my place in line and she said she was just about to call my number. Seems untrue given she had just seated someone who wasn't on the list. Food and Drinks: - Ceviche: always a hit with its refreshing flavor - Lomo Saltado: the main and only reason I come here. Always my go-to dish and always delicious Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via street parking and local parking garages - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Better for smaller groups - Definitely gets busy during peak meal times

As always this place never lets us down. Brought some friends who have never had Peruvian food and they enjoyed everything! The service was great as always! We needed up getting ceviche tower. I am so glad we did. Every single one had its own special flavor and large enough to share between four of us. We had some of our staple fav starters like the Camarones croquantes, and the chicken and fries. We washed it all down with a delicious lychee melon and had a great time catching up.

My wife and I visited Limón in Walnut Creek for the first time, and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. We were warmly greeted by Wilfredo at the front podium, who escorted us to our table. The ambiance was fantastic, and our table in the center of the restaurant gave us a great view of the lively bar area. Romeo was our server/bartender and did an excellent job answering all of our questions about the menu. With so many great options to choose from, it wasn't easy to decide! We started with the Limón Grand Cadillac and an Espresso Martini, along with the Jalea and Chicken Empanadas. Both cocktails and appetizer was absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we ordered the Saltado Mar Y Tierra and the Crispy Pork Belly Chaufa. Both dishes were incredible and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying either one during your visit. Throughout our meal, both Wilfredo and Romeo checked on us regularly, making sure everything was perfect. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to share information about Limón and its offerings. To finish, Wilfredo recommended the Chocolate Bandido for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Overall, our first visit to Limón exceeded our expectations. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and exceptional service made for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be back! A special thank you to Wilfredo and Romeo for your professionalism, hospitality, and outstanding service. You made our first visit one to remember!

finally dropped by Limón after few recommendations, and left not interested in visiting again. the good: i had the mango slushy cocktail, great great great! the drink was everything you want out of a adult summer beverage: refreshing, sweet, and alcoholic. if you're a fan of sweet fruity drinks, do yourself a favor and try the mango slushy cocktail. the bad: i tired they're popular "Polli Papas". if you're a picky eater that loves chicken tenders, i might have found your new favorite meal. to everyone else, if you've ever had fried chicken or fries before you've had this dish before. nothing worth going out of your way for. the ugly: the service. every way you can make people feel unwelcome in a space our servicer accomplished with flying colors. it took than 10 minutes before we were even greeted at our table. 30 more minutes before we checked on again. dishes delivered at irregular times. having to ask for the bill multiple, to the point we had to WALK up to him and ask AGAIN. all troubles the tables on the left and the right of us didn't seem to have, strange. if you wouldn't pass a paper bag test, do yourself a favor and continue your search in the sea of great restaurants in downtown walnut creek. i don't think you would enjoy here, i didn't.

We went to Limon and had a great meal. The service was spot on. Especially when the Server mentioned to my wife her plate will be 60 seconds, sure enough it was exactly that! Little things made the experience enjoyable. They have a great menu from very good empanada's/ ceviche selections, fresh fish and their rotisserie chicken. All very good, We sat outside had the heaters turned On when it was cooler it was very comfortable. I know we will be back.

Wonderful food and wonderful service by Roberto! He was super attentive, funny, and kind to us which enhanced our dining experience exponentially. The food was delicious as well. We will be back! Thank you Limón and thank you Roberto. Give him a raise, Limón manager.

    Crispy Pork Belly Chaufa
    Chelsea E.

Very much enjoyed my dinner here recently. I believe the menu is not "fixed," per se, it seems as though they rotate in new dishes from time to time. My choice was the Crispy Pork Belly Chaufa. She's a good one, even if you are like me and you usually hesitate to order pork belly. Theirs is soft and fatty and falls apart very nicely, while still delivering a supple crunch. I definitely recommend, AND I recommend asking for their sriracha aioli on the side. It adds a lovely creaminess to the dish. Their seafood-forward entrées are also quite flavorful. The espresso martini is just right. The tres leches cake is a perfect option for dessert, definitely shareable (or not).
