Delicious! I haven't been here in years, so I ended up asking our server for some non-Pho recommendations to try. Was not disappointed! We had the shrimp spring roll (omg the sauce), and the beef wrapped in grape leaves--holy moly was this phenomenal! The flavors inside the beef are spectacular. Highly recommend. I tried a soup, not sure which soup, but I have zero regrets. My eating companion had the pad thai- we were thrilled at the flavors and the vegetables! The restaurant was clean and peaceful. To include the restrooms. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Saturday. March 1, 2025. Dinner. Upon entering, my wife and I were told this restaurant has existed for 10 years. It is on Montgomery by Dirty Bourbon saloon and Pelicans. The walls are painted green, have Vietnamese artwork and the interior is super relaxing. The lighting is dim and romantic and the place is super clean. We ordered the fried dumpling appetizer. This came with 6 dumplings and a dipping sauce for $7. The dumplings seemed to be pork and were tender inside. I used some sriracha sauce as the provided sauce tasted bland. To drink, 2 avocado shakes for $11.98. This was the best avocado shake I've ever had. Not too sweet and the right consistency, not too thick or too thin. For the entrée, I had #34, crispy egg noodle with seafood stir fry for $15.25. The noodles were mostly crispy. Those under the sauce turned soggy pretty quick. My fault, I should have asked for no zucchini. Unfortunately this was the most abundant part of the dish and I had to remove about 20 pieces of zucchini. Other than that, the seafood mix had imitation crab, shrimp, squid, and what appeared to be scallops. Vegetables, other than zucchini, included: baby corn, broccoli, carrots and cabbage. I liked the crispy noodles and the seafood tasted pretty good. I would have give five stars but the zucchini really didn't impress, nor did some of the soggy noodles.

Been craving Pho, this place is clean and classy very different inside compared to the outside street mall facade. The combo was just missing something and sadly didn't measure up to the nice ambience, maybe more matching the outside facade, LOL.

This place is really good. I went on a Sunday afternoon. The place is relatively quiet and small. It gives an intimate atmosphere. The service was excellent. The servers were very friendly and gave me suggestions on what to order. The food was good and I would most definitely recommend this place. The price is more on the higher end.

Best Vietnamese food we have eaten since moving to the area. Walked in at 5PM, we were the only ones there. Yen Le gave a warm greeting then answered every question we had about different items on menu. She described one item in such a way my wife couldn't resist ordering it (Vermicelli Patties with chicken). She said it was great. I had the Stir-Fry noodles with chicken, veggies were crisp, sauce had a wonderful non heavy taste. Portions were just right, even had a little leftover to take home. We had Spring roll (shrimp) & egg rolls to start the meal. Reasonable price for meal being about $36 in total. Clean quiet atmosphere, restrooms were very clean & maintained . Our goal was to have a meal then hit the Dirty Bourbon Dance Hall right next door. So this was perfect spot. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

On the hunt for a break in our usual fare got us here. Not too busy, so finding a seat was quick. Selecting from the menu was an easy task. A curry noodle bowl with beef and stir-fry curry chicken. With egg rolls for appetizers and a Thai Tea to drink. Egg rolls came out fast - nicely fried, hot & steaming. Thai Tea was smooth, not overly sweet. The noodle bowl was huge! Tasty, not overly seasoned with curry. The stir fry was equally delicious, the curry was more present. But not overly seasoned. Overall 2 excellent, wallet friendly meals. Another place on our list of gotta eat their again.

Wenr with my girlfriends for our monthly lunch. Food was good. Vietnamese food with plenty of selections and healthy portions Pho is my favorite and had the rare beef. Plenty to take home. Noodle bowls excellent. A couple of our group had shrimp selections with jasmine rice. We shared 2 orders of spring rolls...lots of woos and awes. They were great. Service excellent. Jasmine tea good. Prices were also reasonable. Phi was better the next day for dinner. Will go back again.

For someone unaccustomed to spice, how is the lemongrass soup?

I had this meal here and it's not bad. If I had to rank spice from 1-5, 5 being the spiciest, I'd nail it down to a 3 at most. It was really good, and In fact you can see they put time and effort into their recipes and presentation.

The shrimp is crunchy and flavorful. This place rolls it when you order it because the wrap is not cold or hard. It's soft and room temperature. It's just perfect. The peanut sauce is creamy and has a slight taste of chocolate due to its creaminess. Service is friendly and quick. The ambiance is family casual with a conversation buzz. Pad Thai with lemongrass beef is in need of a few vegetables. The size of the pad Thai is huge . It has a sweet , citric and crunchy peanut flavor. The large portion of beef is not the lemongrass marinated beef. I ate it all and I'm satisfied. I will not order it again specially because their egg noodle lemongrass stir fry is substantially more delicious and loaded with fresh vegetables. The sticky rice and mango is so good I can't even describe other than freshly sliced sweet mango in a coconut rice pairing. Creamy and flavorful.

If you prefer a thicker and stronger-flavored broth, this might not be your favorite. I recommend their lemongrass soup (bun bo hue). The noodles are thicker and chewier than standard pho noodles, and the soup has richer flavors. Their soup was not as flavorful as I would like, but this cleaner version surely will be more approachable.

If you are in Albuquerque and craving a solid banh mi, CODA Bakery is a great spot to check out. I…read moreordered the classic banh mi dac biet, and it absolutely delivered. The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.

When you open up the question, you get a dozen or more answers. That situation can mean many or all of several things: (1) Maybe Albuquerque really is VN food heaven; (2) Maybe there is no consensus on what constitutes really good VN food; or (3) Maybe most people pick the first VN restaurant they like and stick with it. I did #3 for years, sticking with Vietnam 200 and Viet Taste. Well, things change -- great restaurants slip and deliver mediocre experiences. Or we just get tired of same old, same old, and want to look around. I began looking around with a trip to Saigon City, an old restaurant in a slick new location in the same strip with Pars Middle Eastern restaurant in 25 Way. I went last night with my daughter and son-in-law, both experienced eaters. I previewed their menu on their website (a good thing when faced with a huge menu). I selected three items I wanted to try. Leaving the Pho for a later trip, I chose to begin with the green mussels stir fried and dished up with spicy veggie bits. There were six on the plate. I had to move quickly to get two of them. What a treat! I could make a meal of a plate of six of these. Next, I went for B3, the code for grilled chicken and veggies over vermicelli noodles with chili sauce. I like my food spicy. After the mussels, my hopes were up. Well, B3 was a very tasty dish. I would order it again anytime. Fresh, fresh, fresh. But pretty mild in the spice category. The chicken was nicely spiced, and there were red flakes in the vermicelli noodles, but not nearly enough of them. I tried my daughter's pork and vermicelli and thought it a bit better. We finished the meal with sicky rice & mango. The menu offers only sticky rice and banana, which is itself a very nice dessert, but our server mentioned that we could have mango instead for slightly higher charge. Since sticky rice with mango in coconut sauce is one of the five greatest desserts in the world, I went for it with gusto. This dish was the only slight stumble in the meal. I thought the rice was a bit underdone and the sauce not too thrilling. Not bad, but not at the standard set by the other dishes. I look forward to returning soon to try the pho. The service was very good, very friendly, and very helpful. I recommend sitting near the front of the restaurant and away from the service area where the staff conduct loud conversations among themselves. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and lighted. I was very comfortable eating at this fine restaurant.

Fish sauce is going to be the grey area because thats always personal preference, it was good, but would say more on the fishy side, which my fiance liked. Im used to my moms sauce which is more on the sweeter side. I also got an Vietnamese iced coffee and I will say it is probably the best Vietnamese ice coffee that I've had in thr ABQ area. Its was strong and nice and smooth. It wasn't too sweet. The reason why I say this is the best iced Vietnamese cofee I've had in ABQ is because other places, the Vietnamese coffee is bitter or its not balanced enough with flavor. At over $8 for a cup, it's pricey but if i need a Vietnamese coffee fix, this will be a good to spot.
