This is an alright Vietnamese restaurant. Be prepared for pushy waiters who ask you for your order every minute. The food is seasoned perfectly, I ordered the curry noodle soup and was not disappointed! (As a plant based eater, I enjoyed that there was a specific section marked for vegetarian food!) Pricing was fair and you won't come here feeling as if you can't get a huge amount of bang for your buck. The overall atmosphere is great. Given Lime a couple tries and each time is just not up to expectations. The ambiance is ok but when it comes to their pho and spring rolls, just disappointing. When we ordered the spring rolls they tasted soapy. Like someone didn't wash the soap off their hands and handled the veggies. The kind server noticed we weren't enjoying our spring rolls and offered us another order. However, the second round still tasted soapy and inedible. I've grown up eating pho and have tried many different broths but this one was so sour. The meat portion was sad. We ordered extra meat and at any other pho restaurant this would be a regular order of meat. Not to mention the meat tasted so dry and old. Two stars for ok service and atmosphere. There are way better restaurants for pho. read more

This spot is our favorite for homemade style, authentic and healthy Vietnamese food. They are consistently delicious, fresh and on time for our pick up. Was turn onto the this place by some close friends for a nice Vietnamese dinner. They raved and raved about the great food and how authentic it is and fresh and flavorful. We were not disappointed! I stopped in for some Pho at lunch. The broth is incredible!!! That is the true measure of a Vietnamese restaurant. The inside is very nice. My meal was out in 10 minutes. The wait staff are very attentive. I took my husband back for dinner (don't judge, y'all). Yummy!! The veggies are super fresh. I had curry chicken & my husband had the bun noodles with pork & shrimp. My chicken was thin slices of breast meat. His shrimps were large & grilled to perfection. We'll be going there lots. I went for the third time this past Wednesday, and each time before I have absolutely loved it, especially the Pad Thai, wow... it has lots of fresh vegetables, wide noodles like I love, and a great flavor. I had been wanting to try the vegetarian egg rolls, and the other day we finally ordered some. At first they were really good, but I looked inside and pulled out several pieces of what looked and felt like pork. Our waitress insisted that it was not pork, that it was tomatoes. Tomatoes? In an egg roll? She lied directly to my face and obviously did not care about my dietary preferences whatsoever. I have lost a lot of trust here, which is too bad because I will miss that Pad Thai :( read more

We discovered this place today while checking Yelp. Once again, Yelp didn't let us down. We always go to Basil Leaf which we've enjoyed but after today, Lime is where we will be going. Yes, it's new, so you'd expect things to be in tip top shape and they were. This place is spotless, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding! Fresh, not overly sauced (noodle dish). The fresh spring rolls were just that, fresh and delicious. The soup...ah...the flavor was wonderful and it had bits of pork and green onions -they had run out of wontons, but wanted us to try a complimentary bowl of the soup (broth) without the wontons and it was excellent. To review: clean, excellent, friendly service, fresh ingredients, delicious flavors. **I see 1 bad review of this place and this is what's great about Yelp, you can see that person isn't reviewing the food. It sounds like he had an unfortunate experience. From the date of his review, you can see they must have just opened. I hope that customer gives this place another try. This new restaurant is going to be the premier Vietnamese location in ABQ. The food and the service set it apart from the rest. We have eaten here three times in the three weeks it has been open. It is a cut-above its competition due to the personable service and quality of ingredients. The Combination Clay Pot, Lemongrass Beef Stir-fry, Beef with Egg Noodles and Vermicelli with Shrimp and Meatballs (everything we've tried!) are fantastic. Lime uses quality meat and seafood, serves it with a QUANTITY of veggies and sides of herbs, and balances the seasonings perfectly. A shout-out to "Uncle" who is making these masterpieces in the kitchen. The other highlight is the servers; Mike is welcoming, personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and remembered us by name when we returned. Yum! This place is a gem hidden in plain sight! Loves that there were multiple spring roll protein options, the pork was delicious. The lemongrass tofu bun noodle bowl was tasty and beautiful with tons of fresh veggies, and my chicken rice noodle soup had a rich broth and plenty of chicken and shrimp! The service was just right, our drinks were always full but we weren't being hovered over so we were able to enjoy our date night. And nothing cost more than $9! read more
