First time trying this place. I was greeted by Sam and her service was delightful. You have the option of sitting at a table, booth, or at the bar. This place was out of brisket, dark chicken, and chips but that is okay considering I came an hour before closing. I ended up getting the Dirty Bird Sandwich with a side of White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. The turkey on the sandwich was tender to perfection. The white cheddar Mac was a lot different than I'm used to but I will say it tasted fantastic. I could see some people thinking the portion for the mac could be a little small but considering the quality of it, it is so worth it. To finish off my order I got Banana pudding which was $6 and it was pretty good. My meal cost $25 and it was worth every penny. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights which adds to the experience. Overall I would highly recommend this place for anyone who hasn't tried it before and I will definitely come back to try it again. read more

Clearly there are some opening / shakeout issues. Many items were sold out, lines were very long, and the ceiling in our booth was dripping onto the bench where we were sitting. We also weren't too into the whole idea of cafeteria style dining, particularly with a long wait. Prices were also fairly high, and beer selection limited. Food was decent enough, but wasn't IMO worth the prices. I'll give them another chance to get things ironed out, but not too much more than that. read more

I've been to limestone 3-4 times since it's opening. And each time the food never disappoints. I have tried the chicken & the brisket. I love the brisket and so that's all I get now. The regular Mac and cheese is okay. I have to put pepper and sometimes salt on it. Or just bbq sauce because that's good too. The Brussels are delicious. My husband LOVES the chili Mac and cheese, but I am no fan. The funnel cake was hard & dry when I tried it. I'm not sure if it was sitting too long, but I won't chance it. I've only ever had two drinks from the bar and never enjoyed them. They were remakes of drinks I like such as amaretto sour. So, I only drink water when I go there. The staff are friendly and recognized us last night so idk if that's good or bad because we don't go much. It's a cool place to go and eat good bbq. And if you're a whisky fan, you'll like the drinks better than I did. I'm not a huge drinker. read more

Ordered over the phone on Sunday morning for a large pickup on Sunday night. I was very particular, but the staff were great (thanks again for your patience). Our party of 5 thought everything was delicious - especially the meat selection (ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage). I got 1/2 rack ribs for each person in our party hoping it would be enough for their monstrous appetites. It's been a long time since I've eaten the real deal. The brisket and mac & cheese are great and super juicy. The only reason I can't give a five is that I also tried the ribs that were tough and way too dry. Now I've had both dry and touch ribs that weren't too bad before, but when I was offered a plastic knife and fork and with those, it nearly broke the knife to split the bones apart, it was clearly too tough. Anyone going, I do suggest the brisket and mac & cheese and my wife said the colslaw is pretty good two, just avoid the ribs and you'll be satisfried. read more

I have had several meals here. Today I got a 1/2 rack of ribs, mac & cheese and cucumber & tomato salad. The ribs were great! The mac & cheese was okay. I have also had the pulled pork chicken salad. Just wish the music wasn't quite as loud so we could at least hear the person sitting next to us. Ordered the Feast to experience everything. It can feed 4-5 people. Portions are worth the money. Brisket, pulled pork and chicken were nice and moist. Ribs were a little salty. Greens are a little vinegary, brussel sprouts are grilled and barely seasoned, but i like my veggies that way. Im not a fan of most mac and cheese, but this was not bad. If there was anything to recommend, It would be to have at least one piece of cornbread come with the meal. I am from Tennessee, ya'll. And we know real bbq. This is the real deal! We got the Philthy Feast to try everything. The ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken quarters were outstanding. The bbq sausages were a little too spicy. Great choice of sides, also. Since I have lived in DE, this is the best bbq I have had. We will definitely go back. Would be great for a family get together. We went for the first time last night and although the initial process was a bit confusing when we figured we missed something, like the chalkboard, the staff behind the counter kindly gave us options. Friendly staff and thoroughly impressed with the brisket and sides! Only suggestion is to have wait staff getting drink orders from the bar so you can all eat together without someone having to go and get drinks while the others eat. Visited this establish now for the fourth time . Food and service are excellent!! Ribs and pulled pork comes with an assortment of sauces. I had the brisket on a stick with the small potatoes. Perfect snack as we sat and watched little playoff football. If you like bourbon and BbQ this is the place for you . I recommend the apple cider old fashion !! When I saw that this place was going to mimic a BBQ in Austin, Texas I was real excited, but it seems that all BBQ places up in the North don't know how to use real wood for smoking their meat, it all taste like artificial smoke. So it was ok and more likely will not be going back. But ....give it a try if that is what you are use to. read more

First visit yesterday October 13,2018 Nice atmosphere but looking at the menu board was a bit confusing, what made it worse is the counter where you place the order has no menus to refer to which made it imperative that you had to have a great memory. Service was fast and order came out on paper covered plastic servers trays, not a plate in sight to use they only offer small paper trays ! Drinks were displayed on ice , Cups were available but no ice in sight! Ordered sampler enjoyed the ribs and BBQ pulled pork , however the brisket had way to much bark to enjoy the meaty parts. I barely remember tasting any "smokey taste" I think they relay on a huge choice of sauces to enhance the meat! Price was in line with other Bbq places , however I think its the food that makes one desire to return for more, I did not get that feeling on this visit! First time trying this place, I tried the taco Tuesday tacos. I know I know, trying tacos at a bbq place. Definitely the wrong choice. Seemed like they used the leftover chicken, pork, and brisket for the tacos which is fine but not when it is 19 dollars for 4 tacos. They were made half assed assembly line style. I've had better tacos at a roach coach on the side of the road. The tortillas were hard and obviously old. Atmosphere was relaxed and beer was good. Had a huge bourbon bar. Maybe it was the wrong night and wrong thing to get but tacos definitely aren't their specialty and insanely over priced. I want some money back! read more

This is an interesting place, cool interior and setting. Unfortunately my brisket was dry requiring a lot of sauce. When you are charging $30 a pound for brisket it better be the best brisket I've ever had. The most well-known barbecue spots in Texas and Louisiana charge 22 per pound and it is a world of difference. I had a simple question as well and the server decided to straight up lie to me instead of telling me he did not know and asking someone else. My daughter lives in Plano, TX and I have been to a few different BBQ places there. This place was on par with them and even better. The brisket was absolutely delicious. Sometimes it's worth giving a new place a second chance, as it may need time to adjust. Well I'm glad I went back to try this bbq again. This time it was for lunch so I skipped the fancy bourbon drink, which by the way was delicious, and went straight for what I was missing on my first visit...meat! OMG the people who did get to try it and raved about it, they were right! I tried the brisket (fatty) the way I like it but if you don't they offer it less fatty, your choice. I also tried the ribs, just as delicious. I was pleased to get corn on the cob, something that's hard to find in Texas bbq's for some reason. Robbie was a true gentleman about my poor first review and thanked me for coming back to give him a second chance. Just finished the Philthy Sampler and it was everything the reviews said, but fir $27 it wasn't enough for two. We had brisket, pulled pork and sausage. So glad this is here. I miss good BBQ since moving north, and this is pretty darn good. The sides are different/non-traditional. For example, the collards taste more like a dish my Italian grandmother used to make than traditional southern Greens. But they are bery good. Chilli mac is awesome. Pulled pork is awesome. Sausage is not my favorite for this style... Again, more of an Italian sausage flavor. But, overall, I'll be back. Probably many times. read more

It would help if there was someway to get a drink order in while you grab your food at the front. A fun night at BBQ and Bourbon. The Beatles tribute band was a nice plus. The food is served cafeteria style, which is very different and a nice change. The BBQ medley gave us the ability to try many things, all of them good. The only drawback to our evening was the slow bar service, but in their defense it was very crowded. I came to Limestone Barbeque on a friend's recommendation. Pulling into the parking lot I was impressed with the size and the sign for the restaurant. There are two entrances. One for takeout, one for lunch/dinner. I went in the second one. It was a very large open place with wood tables and chairs. I was a little confused as to what to do. I told the employees it was my first time here. One of them showed me a menu written on a blackboard. And then he handed me a printed one. I looked it over and ordered the More Cowbell. You order at the counter. He said it's a sandwich. I said OK. He rang a cowbell and shouted out More Cowbell! to the cooks. I ordered a side of chili mac, too, which they don't always have, and a can of diet Coke. Everything was on a tray and ready to go as soon as I paid the $18.25. Extremely fast and fun service. When he meant a sandwich, he meant everything was on the bun, baked beans and slaw included. It was falling off all over the tray. I got silverware, a plastic cup of water, and a small cup of cucumbers in vinegar from a stand behind the tables and sat down. The table had three kinds of sauce on it, traditional, Carolina, and hot. There was also a roll of paper towels, which came in handy. I ate the stuff that had spilled onto the tray first. It was love at first bite. The best brisket I've ever tasted. It melted in my mouth. Insanely tender. The rest of the meat was nearly as good. The beans, chili mac, and slaw weren't quite as tasty, but they were better when I added the Carolina sauce, which is my favorite. It took awhile to get to the point where I could actually hold the bun, but eventually I did and wolfed it down. The barbeque and the service were fantastic. The sides OK. I was just a little thrown about how to order, but now I know. Overall, highly recommended! read more
