    Christmas Cake 2020
    Megan T.

A mom n pop located in DTSJ! I go back years with this place. My parents had their wedding cake from this place and from there I've had so many birthday cakes here. We've had so many cakes here for almost if not every occasion - Mother's Day, Father's Day, Labor Day... 20+ years of having this place, it is still soo good. The cakes are so light and soft, the cream and filling is sweet but not too sweet. It's so easy to eat more than a slice. My favorite fillings I've had here are mocha and strawberry. Definitely a place to check out if you are not looking for a last minute cake.

I came across Linda from an old coworker who mentioned cake from Linda's Bakery are really good. I personally never tasted her cake and they don't offer cake tasting but I saw Linda offers tropical Asian cake flavors which I love cause American cakes are way too sweet for me. So for our wedding we decided to go with Linda's. Her pricing/delivery and fresh flower decor was unbeatable. Ann was the one I was in communication with. We met 2 weeks before my wedding, I show her an image I wanted and the color scheme of my wedding. The day of the wedding, I was blown away because during our initial meet up, Ann had a very rough cake design but when it was delivered, it matched the decor perfectly! Guava cake was delicious but I was too drunk to try the mocha and regret not bringing any left over cake home. But for sure, I will order for birthdays to try her durian and mocha cake again.

Linda did it again for us! Made my vision of how I want the cupcakes and cake come true and all were gorgeous and delicious. Simple elegance is how I wanted the cake and as you see, that's what she delivered. Cake was filled with fresh strawberries and custard. Best combo anyone can ask for. The cupcakes were Oreo cupcakes with gorgeous chunks of Oreos baked into the cupcakes and topped with a small Oreo on top. Additionally she did a handful of kit Kat cupcakes with kit Kat chunk and kit Kat sprinkles on top. We have to have the plan vanilla and chocolate ones as well. All were delicious and delivered right on time as promised. So happy how it all looked and tasted.

Linda's Bakery made the most stunning cake for my parent's 50th Golden Anniversary! Not only did it look AMAZING, it tasted AMAZING! I would highly recommend getting your cake here for any occasion!

Ordered jungle themed cake from Linda for my little one's 1st birthday. I messaged her my requirements and the date/time of the party. The cake was ready as promised. Loved the jungle theme and the mango flavor.

Linda is a sweet lady and her cakes are delicious!! My fiance and I came for a tasting at her shop and fell in love with all the flavors we tried. Mango, Mocha, Guava, and Chocolate Raspberry. We decided to book our cake with Linda right away. Her prices are reasonable and we were able to fully customize our cake. I also ordered my mother's birthday cake from her, and it came out better than what we had hoped for! (light purple cake with fresh orchids, 4 flavors with 2 tiers). Somethings to note, please call Linda before coming into the shop. She is very polite and courteous, always gives her advice to help out the couple (as she knows weddings are expensive). You can't go wrong with Linda's! I am sure that I will be updating this review with another positive note, AFTER my wedding :)

Lindas Bakery will be my go to for every event! For my baby shower I got a cake and a few dozen cupcakes. They were breathtaking and beautiful. So gorgeous I didn't want to eat them! A huge hit and I'm now in the process of using Linda's bakery for my 6 month old daughters celebration!

I had searched up some bakeries on google since I did not know any fancy bakeries who did wedding cakes and who would fit in my budget. When I spoke to Linda, I made an appt and went to her office. We instantly hit it off & she knew exactly what I wanted!! That can be hard sometimes but since she has been in the business for so long it was such a great experience to work with her- she asked me the color of my dress & baam! She drew a blueprint of what she felt would look nice & I loved it!! The best part was the presentation of it and the taste- both were amazing and she made it with whipping cream: that was HUGE for me since I hate fondue creams. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a good quality cake that looks just as amazing also- thank you Linda!!

Best cakes here ever. Love Rum and Mocha cake here, my mom has always bought cakes here since I was a kid , you Will not be disappointed!!

    My wedding cake last year

Linda is a great artist! She made my wedding so pretty because of her cake. Her service is awesome. She not only delivered my cake but also helped me to set up the cake as well. Lot of respects for her and her team. I definitely like to order her cakes again.

My kids birthday cake looked & tasted very good! Very happy with their service & cake was super yummy! Ordered guava flavoured, whipped cream with strawberry jam filling. Reasonable price & the fondants were excellent!

My whole family loves to eat cake at Linda's. The cake is very tasty and fresh. she made the cakes according to my order perfectly and very delicious. I sent the picture of cake to my friends and they also wanted to order cake at Linda. I would highly recommend to all my friends...love this place so much

***************************** 1420 *************************** Linda's Bakery is not only a bakery shop, they offer gifts, flowers, and more. I had flowers that were given to me many times from here and they were all stunningly decorated. I used Linda's Bakery for my events as well. If you love 'Durian fruit' and can handle the stinking aroma, try her Durian Cake here, simply delicious, moist, and satisfy your sweet tooth I guarantee! Always great service, on time delivery, professional and reasonable price point here.

our wedding cake, just as we wanted it to look. We just picked up the cake and decorated the table ourselves.

The cake itself was dry and hard: the texture was oh so wrong. I don't know if it was old, frozen for too long, or some odd ingredients? But for $65 for a small 6", it was very disappointing. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.
