Great food. We tried the Big Texas Burrito next time instead of chicken I would recommend beef fajita. I would go back. Tacos were large and full of food. The only thing was there was a little black piece that I wasn't sure if it was a little bug or burnt piece. The server took it back really didn't say anything or apologize. The reason I'm giving 1 star is because negative stars are not an option. I was joining 2 others who had already ordered, I arrived later. The waitress completely ignored me, never asked if I wanted anything to drink or brought a menu. I finally had to say something after her 2nd visit to the table...after I arrived. When I received my food (Enchiladas verdes) I took one bite and it was super acidic, just disgusting. I couldn't eat it so I asked for the manager and simply told her I couldn't eat because of the acidity, that I didn't like it. Most common sense restaurants just simply apologize and remove it from the ticket... nope, not this place. She had the audacity to say "I'll taste it to see if it's acidic or not." The point is the customer found it acidic (I can't eat heavily acidic foods). She took it and still proceeded to charge us half the plate price because she thought the food was fine. Who the hell charges a customer for something they didn't eat but the manager thought it was fine. The food here is below average Mexican food, if you want decent Mexican food you can literally go to any other place than Linda's. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible treatment, and terrible management. read more

Terrible experience here. Took them forever to acknowledge that they had a few customers waiting. Upon ordering and waiting for nearly 45 mins they had the audacity to bring out dry chicken that had been sitting out. Possibly under a heat lamp or something. This place is sooo good. There crispy tacos are the best. I love their salsa!! The place is always clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing bad.. their bathroom is so tiny. It usually just me and my 2 little boy's that go. They're too young to leave out alone in lobby and can't fit them in. In fact when we go wash our hands I leave the door wide open so just two of us can fit so I can wash their hands. Authentic Tex-Mex with great service and nostalgia, Linda's delivers! All of the food is above average and made to order, unfortunately the prices could be a bit more friendly. My first stop in Corpus was this place. And I'm glad I did. Very busy place. The servers couldn't keep up with the crowd that kept coming in. I tried the barbacoa and potato chorizo tacos. First off I made the mistake of ordering two. Tacos were as big as my 5 yr old kid. Don't know how I finished them, and they were my only meal of the day. We are from a little town in the Florida panhandle and there is no good Mexican there, so we try out places on our travels based often on yelp reviews and local recommendations. This restaurant had great food, we shared the Carne Guisada, my daughter had a single carne asada soft taco, and her boyfriend had the puff tacos. This Mexican cantina is as good as it gets. I ordered the Linda's Special. It was steak, peppers, and tangy red sauce. The red sauce was out-of-this-world. It was also served with rice and beans, which were exceptional. This is some of the best Mexican food I've tried in ages. Which is saying something: I'm from San Antonio. It was a huge plate. Excellent service. The wait staff continuously checked on us. Had the steak & eggs & the steak was perfectly cooked & seasoned served with tasty refried beans fried cubed potatoes. Not sure why this place has 4.5 stars. It was clean and simple, service was satisfactory although our server spoke no English. But the food. Blah! We asked for a small bowl of queso and chips and they brought is a cup full of canned cheese sauce with a few tomatoes tossed in it. My enchiladas (beef), while not the worst I've ever eaten were close. Bland ground meat with no discernible seasoning wrapped in store tortillas; and canned enchilada sauce w/ a little flavorless ground meat thrown in so they can call it meat gravy. The Spanish rice was passable, but the frijoles were dry and again, unseasoned. My friend ordered chicken fajitas w/ napolitos. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The flour tortillas that came with her meal were most definitely made in house and were okay; a bit tough and dry but passable. The ladies' restroom, although very tiny and cramped (no room to open/close the door without standing between the wall and the commode), was very clean and well maintained. You can wash your hands while sitting on the potty! Overall I was very disappointed given the rave reviews I read. read more

Amazing home cooked style meals and as tasty as they get. We initially sat at another popular/chain Mexican restaurant in the area and within 5min (after tasting the costco style guacamole) left and went to Linda's...the best decision ever. Linda's truly is amazing. As a New Yorker, having access to great Mexican food allows for instant great food recognition. The staff was super attentive and soooo nice and efficient. Came here for breakfast back in February 2020. My girlfriend and I LOVED the food we ordered! The portions were much larger than we expected! I ordered the carne guisada plate and she ordered a parillada and menudo bowl. The cakes they were selling were also great! Can't wait to eat here again next time I'm in Corpus! read more
