This was my first time at this diner and was very happy. The staff was friendly and cracked some jokes. I ordered the Belgian waffle which was perfect, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! My husband ordered the farmers omelet with home fries and had to bring half home. The portions are giant, fairly priced and the waitstaff is always friendly. This place caters to anyone- normal eaters, vegans, keto people, low carb, even gluten free people. First time eating at this Diner since it opened. Took almost 45 minutes for my hamburger to come to the table. They forgot the bacon on the hamburger along with forgot to bring the syrup I requested for the sweet potato fries. I told the waiter when I saw him and then brought me bacon along with syrup. Waiter asked if I wanted my soda refilled and I said yes. He never brought back my glass until I saw him and reminded him about the refill of soda. I will not be returning. read more

I love the inside of this place and the food is awesome. From the second you walk in before even sitting down you can tell the place is well ran. The guy who sat me and my girlfriend was nice from the first step in the door, sat us down and immediately the server came to the table. First time in this place, looking around everyone looked so friendly and clean. I got a grilled chicken wrap and finally the chicken was cooked how I expected it to be, my girlfriend got a dinner and we had left overs for the day after. Stopped here to by some time while waiting for my dog's grooming service. The diner has a big lot, plenty of seating inside, and is extremely clean. Their interior decor too is nice, as it makes the place stand out. I liked how they had the old juice boxes at the table, bringing back memories from days of old. The menu was kind of small for a diner, but what we did order tasted great. So just went to this diner and it's horrible. Ordered Mozzarella sticks and a Arizona ice tea. The mozzarella sticks came out and they we're not cooked right. The cheese did not "pull" at all and when touch it felt like playdoh. Then came time to pay the bill. Now literally everywhere a bottle of Arizona ice tea is 99 cents or a dollar. Not here. They charge 3 dollars for a Arizona. Like what? When I asked why it was so much money the guy told me it's because the "syrup" they use is expensive. Yeah definitely don't go here read more

I have given this Diner so many chances but I can't stay silent anymore. There is clearly no quality control here. The staff taking to-go orders doesn't know the menu. One host had the audacity to tell me tacos are not a sandwich when I inquired about my fries that came with them even though they are listed in their specialty sandwich category. I always order French fries well done and they are always barely cooked. I ordered a black bean burger which is supposed to come with avocado and pepper Jack and it had neither. The patty was barely cooked and completely fell apart. I am so disappointed. The staff is friendly but clearly the kitchen is horrific and there is no one checking orders before leaving the building. read more

Decided to try this little diner when in the area last night....tired of Blaze & Red Robin and wanted a warm place to eat and get out of the snow. Very happy with the decision! Quick service (w/ a smile) and great food! The seafood bisque soup was fantastic! My son ordered a fixed price item that comes with a drink, soup & salad, the entree & dessert. Large portions and all very good! I ordered a roast beef sandwich, after asking if the roast beef was rare. Waitress said medium, I asked if it was red, she said yes...needless to say, the BEST roast beef I have ever had! Coleslaw was great too. My husband's order was for chicken salad, came out as chicken breast.....no big deal. They offered to change it, but he was just as happy with this version. Had a really sweet young girl as our waitress (turns out to be the cashier/hostess' daughter). We really do not have a lot of great diners to chose from up in Huntington, so glad we tried this little gem since we shop down here all the time! Keep up the good work......we'll be back! read more

I've ordered from this diner many times with usually good results. This time not so much. For starters the delivery guy banged on my door like an animal which is uncalled for. I requested back door delivery he went to the front door and said "oh well they never told me". As far as food my burger was way over cooked topped with undercooked bacon (ew). Boneless wings were pretty much chicken nuggets with sauce on them came with no celery or blue cheese as advertised. Overall they lost a monthly customer out of me. read more

Went here for the 1st time with my fiancé and brother for breakfast. The food was delicious, nice sized portions and the coffee was really good. I'll definitely be returning again to try for lunch and dinner. And of course, go back for breakfast! Now to add some "suggestions" so to say....Some of the breakfast meals that are listed include home fries and toast, some you have to purchase a la carte. Usually, you can pick both for an additonal charge or get one or the other. The breakfast menu was only 1 page all the way at the back of the menu while lunch, dinner and late night snacks ruled the menu. I hope they can add a lot more to it and get some more variety of breakfast foods, especially omlettes. read more

I only dined inside once prior to the pandemic but service was excellent from what I remember. It's a pretty typical diner but their vegan menu is the hot ticket! We ordered food from here a number of times over the past couple months and my only 2 issues were that 1- they did not list avocado(or guacamole )as an ingredient online in their nachos and my husband has an allergy and couldn't eat them because of it. Maybe it was Uber eats' fault - I'm not sure who puts the menus and ingredients online in all honesty... but also there was another time one of our orders was a spin dip burger that they literally left out the spinach dip. So 2 out of 4 orders didn't go well. I was torn between a 3 or 4 star rating and the only reason I gave a 4 is because it is so tough to find a vegan menu with as many options as theirs. But not as keen to order delivery any more from this place due to the mistakes. I will definitely try dining at the establishment again when things calm down post covid! read more

This is by far my favorite diner in town. Anything you get on the menu is delicious, and want to make you come back again for more. I am a fan favorite of either the siracha chicken panini, or the bacon mac burger, with a Fireman's Park shake, although I sometimes order a chicken quesadilla. My family and I have been going to the LIndenhurst Diner since it opened. They have been consistent with their service, the food quality and the cleanliness of the diner. That doesn't always happen in every restaurant. The waitstaff is great, and the last time I went there the waitress said she loved to work there. That's important because if they're happy, then your experience is always great. The owners are really nice too. I know when I go there I will always have a delicious meal with great service. So I highly recommend it, hence the five stars. read more

Bought groupon for my sons birthday dinner 2/03/2017. Lets see where should I begin? Area where we were waiting to be seated very small and crowded right near front doors. Every time someone walked in we would freeze. UgHHH! Finally seated after short wait. We were sat in booth. Heat vent above all booths blasting us with hot air, none of us could breath from it, switched us to different booth in back assuring us it was cooler, and it was until the heat kicked back on and it was very unpleasant. It took a long time for waitress to take our order. Soup was good but waitress dripped soup all over table and some fell on my sons jeans. Brought my husband's meal with his salad at same time, so his hot meal sat on the table for awhile. That was not the worst of it, food was not very good and portions were small. I paid 15 dollars for greek salad with chicken and the chicken was so dry i kept choking on it. My husband had a 20 dollar shrimp meal and he was not full. I hope this review helps I will finish groupons already bought. I will never return to this diner. There are so many better choices to eat at. I like Red Robins salads and Panera. Went here a few nights ago for the first time since it reopened. First off, the place looks absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The menu is full of options, it took me a few minutes to make my final decision on what I wanted to eat. I ended up ordering the buffalo chicken grilled cheese and it came out in less than 8 minutes despite the diner being very crowded. The food was delicious. My friend got a honey mustard panini and she was in love. My server was quick and she kept checking on my table to make sure everything was good. The owner even came and spoke to us to make sure everything came out to our liking. Overall great place. Definitely going to come back! Would highly recommend this place to others. Terrible! The wait staff wasn't bad. The quality of the food however, nearly inedible. We got my 2 year old daughter the pita pizza and it was soggy. Looks like someone put cheese on it and stuck it in the microwave. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was not aesthetically pleasing at all.
