Half a Lindo's Breakfast. (I forgot yo take a picture before I dug in)
Jacquelyn T.

We haven't eaten here for some time, life is busy! Had breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. I had the Lindo's breakfast, home fries covered in country gravy and topped with eggs scrambled with ham. My husband had the homemade corned beef hash with eggs. We both liked our meals and wondered why we hadn't been here in so long.

Breakfast quesadilla, Chile Verde Fries, French Toast and my nephews smile which speaks for itself lol

Had to try this location since I had a great experience at their other location. Didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and the employees were very friendly. We tried the green chili fries which were really good. The French toast plate which was delicious and the breakfast quesadilla that was very tasty and filling. This place is becoming my favorite local restaurant and I tell everyone that they should try their food. Parking is not a problem and the restaurant is very clean.

Nice clean place.

The staff here is very friendly. I ordered an iced tea ($4) and looked at the menu. I'd heard there were new senior specials added recently, I did see those but they were still over $15 per plate. The regular meals are $17-$20 each. I hear the food is good, and they serve hearty portions, but I took my tea to go. If you're in the mood for lots of food and a drink, it'll cost you $25 minimum. I just don't know who affords to eat out anymore. I wish this cute establishment luck. I know being in business is tough right now and I'm sorry about that. I went home with my $4 iced tea and made a turkey sandwich and saved myself over $20.

Patty melt, and onion rings

We love this place! We've came here many times to eat in the last for sure at least 10 years. The people who own this place are always happy and full of smiles. The customers all seem happy too. The food is all good! I've never gotten anything there that I didn't like. The ambience is a good home feeling. Nice clean, small diner. You can call in your orders too if you want to take out. Here's a picture of my veggie sandwich and fried zucchini and my hubby's patty melt and onion rings takeout. Yummy!

Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs

Food was tasty. Service was awesome. We had the chicken fried steak, chilaquelles and vegetable egg white omelet. We also tried the pumpkin pancake which was amazing!!!! Our server was super sweet and she came Often to make sure we had refills and whatever we needed. We will be back!

Did steak and burger close or just change names?

No it's still Steak n Burger. They just rebranded and changed the name to hopefully spur more interest. I spoke to Rodrigo, the son, couple days ago and he explained it to me.

So glad we did I! This was our second stop and HANDS DOWN YUM! We are always looking for good tacos places and if you haven't stopped here... you need to! The place is pretty small inside. They have maybe 6-10 little tables but it's well kept and clean. The young girl working the counter is friendly. We had the queso birria tacos (the best around). The beans and rice are great too. Everything has great flavor! We have been there a few times and every time they deliver the best fresh food. I placed a DoorDash order totaling over $50 to feed my family of four. Because they typically provide very little salsa (which honestly is what makes the food), I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask about adding extra. The woman I spoke with told me they would include 10 green salsas and that I could pay for the extras. She wasn't able to process payment over the phone, so I went back into the app and added an additional side of guacamole per person to increase the order. When the order arrived, we only received 6 green salsas and nothing extra. When I called the restaurant, the same woman said she didn't see anything on her end showing the additions, so she didn't include them -- even though she had already told me she would. For a $55 order, not including the extra salsa that was discussed is frustrating, especially when this has been an ongoing issue with missing items in previous orders. On top of that, we ordered four separate dinners and everything was combined into just two containers. The lack of attention to the order and the dismissive response when I called back were disappointing. Unfortunately, after multiple experiences like this, I won't be ordering from here again.

I usually get their taquitos (pro tip get the guac on the side) , shredded beef tacos, and the garbage burrito with no onion. The garbage burrito just hits that spot like nothing else!! I will crave this exact burrito every month or two and it delivers every single time. The tortilla is fresh, soft, and has a nice chew while the pork is so incredibly tender and flavorful. Also, their red hot sauce is to DIE FOR!!! It's the best hot sauce I've ever had, to the point where I could grab a straw and drink this stuff. Not sure why the reviews mention bad service as they are always very friendly and helpful when I'm here and the times I do call-in orders they get everything correct and the food is ready on time. This location is big, in a nice location off Yucaipa Blvd, and the interior is very spacious with plenty of seating and a couple TVs inside. I'd highly recommend you check them out as their food has been consistently good for over two decades!!

The man at the register was inpatient, I was not able to select the "GT" burrito, and when trying to ask about the options, the man was answering phone calls and talking to others which then he asked if this is all I wanted and I said yes, but not knowing he was going to ring me up at that moment , so I was not able to order a pineapple agua. Anyhow , ended up with 2 asada burritos and one chorizo burrito. There was hardly any flavor in the chorizo since there wasn't much...a lot of egg, which was cooked nicely. Had good texture and the potatoes were bland. The asada burritos were 95% beans and rice and 5% meat. I wasn't a fan. The tacos I thought were going to be"street taco" style but they were hard shell. Not a fan unfortunately. The overall establishment was nice and big. Just did not meet my expectations in food or salsa.

Need more sauce. That's a lot of egg the relleno is there somewhere. Pork is sorta dry (but that's just me).

The margaritas are some of the best around and I love when they use aqua fresca as the base for them, making them so fresh! The restaurant was starting to get busy and everyone was in a good mood. There's always a good vibe especially by the bar and our server was really nice too. I ordered the fish and shrimp tostada this time around and they aren't stingy with the ceviche or the avocado. It was very good and satisfying. My hubby ordered the mojarra frita which is the exact same thing he ordered last time because that's what brought us here in the first place! He was craving a nice sized fried fish and he really liked the one here. Looks like they have a nice brunch on Sundays too, so we'll have to try that out one weekend soon!

We've been customers for years and have always enjoyed the food, which is why this was so…read moredisappointing. From the moment our server (tall skinny guy with tattoos) came to our table, he was rude, dismissive, and acting strange. We are understanding people who have worked as servers and in hospitality previously and decided to remain polite, give him the benefit of the doubt, and attempt to still enjoy our dinner. However, it progressively got worse. He repeatedly cut us off while we were speaking, made sarcastic and strange remarks, rushed us to order drinks, skipped over my sister in law, rolled his eyes multiple times, shouted "if you were listening you would have heard me say I'm bringing water for everyone" very rudely when someone asked for a water, and then didn't return to take our food order for almost 30 minutes after he brought our drinks. When he did return, he was again being rude. It got to the point where he was actually making us feel uncomfortable and we asked if everything was okay and explained that his behavior felt disrespectful. We requested a different server, but instead of addressing our concerns, he began arguing with us, raised his voice, said, "can I trade you guys out" then he abruptly walked away... At that point, we decided to get up and go to the front to pay for our drinks and leave. We explained the situation to the manager, who offered personal reasons for the employee's behavior. While we sympathize with anyone going through a difficult time, we don't feel it's an excuse to treat customers poorly when they have been polite and respectful and put up with his poor behavior longer than we should've have in the first place. As we were speaking with the manager he was nearby and saying weird things under his breath again. While we were walking out after paying with the manager, the server continued shouting at us and saying rude things across the restaurant. He even asked my brother in law if he was trying to fight while we were walking out... we didn't say anything to retaliate and left the restaurant to find another spot for dinner. We had a small child with us and he was acting erratically, so just wanted to share a tale of caution. The food has always been good, the staff (besides the gentleman we had tonight) is friendly, and we've supported this restaurant for years, but hopefully they can ensure a safer and more pleasant dining experience for guests.
