I had been traveling for work from Monday-Thursday and was so eager to get home on Thursday afternoon. I got to the airport in Boise and my plane to LAX was delayed by 3 hours due to mechanical issues. Not thrilled to be at the airport but grateful to be heading home to sleep in the comfort of my home. My driver was exceptional - they got me home by 7:30PM and upon walking up to my front door, I saw the attached picture from the City of Huntington Beach. About 2 months ago, Nate (Owner, Linear Plumbing) responded quickly to a Yelp inquiry that I made and he was able to fix the issue within 24 hours and I knew that I finally found a plumbing company that delivered superior service. To that end, I immediately texted Nate (9:30PM) and he responded and gladly accepted a panic call from me. I asked if he could come to my house first thing on Friday morning and while he had another job at that time, he sent one of his technicians and also arrived at the onset of the project. Duuuuude!!! I need more STARS!!! 5 stars isn't enough for Linear Plumbing! I can't express enough how amazing Nate was! Err.. I mean IS! Just absolutely phenomenal! Picture this: it's Friday, 4:30pm, and I'm driving home from work. Before I reach home, like literally before I reach home, my wife texts me to tell me that our kitchen sink is clogged. my eyes are like this as I'm pulling into the driveway. I walk inside and head to the kitchen only to see that both sides of our dual sink had become an impromptu swimming pool for our dirty dishes. Yikes on bikes. I open my phone and post the project on Yelp!. Within seconds, it wasn't even a minute, literal seconds, I get a response. It's from Linear Plumbing, "$250 flat rate. Earliest availability Fri 12th at 6." Whoa . So soon! Such wow! Such a deal! Before I reply I check LP's page; 5 star reviews and red text that says they close in 10 minutes. Hold up hold up, this person is saying they will come rescue me from these tiny stinking watering holes in my kitchen AFTER HOURS?! How could I NOT accept!? I message back about my issue and discuss some of the specifics. Due to the nature of the job, and because I have a mobile home and my inability to find the exterior "clean out" exit tube that connects to my kitchen sink, it turns out that my situation might cost a little more than the quoted flat rate if it turns out that more work will be needed to be done than expected. But of course, they won't know until they get here and get their eyes and hands on the problem. I completely understand and give my address. At 5:45, 15 minutes ahead of schedule, a Linear Plumbing truck pulls up to my door. Out pops Nate, my very own Mario Bros-esque hero, but with better facial hair. We exchange introductions and I then lead him to where my water mishaps are awaiting for his plumbing wizardry ways to work their magic. I'm not one to hover and helicopter over someone who's area of expertise I know nothing about, so I sit on the couch with my daughter and we paint our nails together. As my daughter and I are discussing which UV lamp to buy to help our gel nails dry faster, Nate is hard at work disposing of my disposal dilemma. And as the first coat of my neon yellow gel paint dries, Nate informs me that he's already done. Mind blown I was expecting it to take a lot longer, but he accomplished his mission with the swiftness! It wasn't even 6:30 yet! BOOM! and the cherry on top? Nate informs me that there won't be any additional charges because that "clean out" hole I mentioned earlier, the one that usually outside of the house close to the sink that I couldn't find, was actually right there under the sink itself! DOUBLE BOOM! Seriously, Nate could have just lied and charged me the extra, and in my state of sink emergency I wouldn't have even questioned it and paid what he asked. But he was honest and sincere and truly my sink savior. I know I've been rambling on, but I'm just in awe and full of gratitude towards the awesome job that Nate the Great and Linear Plumbing did for me. I am very happy with my experience at Linear Plumbing. Around 10pm I messaged requesting a quote when my shower drain wasn't draining. Nate responded within minutes letting me know that he had availability the next morning to come assess the issue and give me an accurate estimate. He worked around my schedule to meet at my house during a time that worked for my family. Nate was very friendly and knowledgeable. He ran a few tests to see what the issue might be. Unbeknownst to me, my husband had already cleared what was blocking the drain.
