Do not go to Lin's Habachi. We were there for our team dinner after a tournament game and while waiting for the cook to arrive, COCK ROACHES starting coming out of the grill. We mentioned it to the waitress, and she seem clueless, we went back and mentioned it to the manager and he was dumbfounded about the whole situation. There were six COCKROACHES in total that came out of the grill. The entire team and parents picked up and left. That is the last time we will be eating at the restaurant. DO NOT GO there. read more

I was in town visiting and stumbled upon this restaurant.The location does not appear to the naked eye as it is in a shopping center but the restaurant was clean, very comfy, and decor was superb reminded me of a lounge. I usually eats Kobe's hibachi however Lin's did not compare it was the best hibachi I have ever had. The portions were great, it was not overly greasy, I had a delicious glass of red wine for under 5.00 as it was on promotion and the customer service was excellent. The show was not to long and drawn out so your food did not get cold. I would highly recommend Lin's. I will definitely visit the next time I'm in the area. read more

Me and two friends went here last night. We got slimy chicken fried rice and chewy fried calamari. The server stated we were stuck with the calamari because "we ordered it." My family has gone to Lin's as a special treat since moving to the area six years ago. The food and service used to be first class! We've noticed the portions getting a LOT smaller for the same price and the service trending toward outright indifference. We used to travel for Lin's but it's gotten to where our neighborhood hibachi is looking a lot better for the same $70-$110 and minutes from hometown to boot. Today, my wife, son and I had to share another tables chef who would pass small portions back to us after serving his table. There was another chef wrapping up when he arrived, but my family and table apparently didn't merit a chef. Tipped proportionately. No more gambling. A sad story. read more

Their prices online do not match what they charge you. Every roll we ordered was a dollar more. When confronted, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Since my husband and I have moved to this area we have been looking for a good place to eat. On our anniversary in august we decided to try Lin's. We sat at the hibachi side and had a nice dinner and a show. The next time we came here we sat at the sushi bar and have loved the place ever since. We go back about every other weekend and have gotten to know the sushi guys so now we don't even have to look at a menu when we come in. They make us a complimentary appetizer and time the food perfectly so that we're not sitting there with all of our food at once like most places we have gone. The sushi is excellent and reasonably priced for the service that you get. There are multiple servers that assist you which is nice because our glasses are always full! We have been to other sushi places both in the area and other areas but are mediocre in comparison. The environment is great and has a nice ambiance for a dinner setting. Being a younger couple it's nice to have a place in our area that is age appropriate for us. We have even treated my husband's boss to this place and even they loved it. Definitely recommend this place for a nice date night or a group outing. read more

Lin's Hibachi is a fun place for groups, with decent food and a festive atmosphere. The hibachi chefs delight in flipping food into the air for patrons to catch in their mouths and, for those over 21, squirting sake from a ketchup squeeze bottle into those same mouths. If you are just looking for a regular, sit down meal with the focus being on high quality Asian food, Lin's probably falls to three stars. (I have not tried the sushi, so can't recommend or dis-recommend.) The hibachi fare is good, the wait service is decent. The highlight is the cooking staff at your table -- they are there to instill the party atmosphere. You wouldn't go out of your way to get a meal here unless you are looking for a fun time. Even though I usually order brown rice with Asian food, I always go with fried rice at Lin's just because everything is better when you can see it sizzle in front of you. When I have gone with my son's baseball team, it has been the perfect spot. The dinner takes on a party type atmosphere, and if it is actually someone's birthday, they go all-out with the celebratory singing. If you do take a large group there (and pay the bill), expect to leave with some Lin's swag. If you give yourself over to the Lin's experience, you will not be able to stop yourself from having fun. read more

As regulars at Lin's we are upset and disappointed how the manager handled our situation tonight. We ordered the Special Roll of the Day and the chef's special sauce on it tasted sour. We only had 1 piece each (my wife and I) and we could not eat anymore because of the sour taste. We finished our other 2 rolls and asked to see the manager. We told him that we did not like the roll and he offered 50% off. He said because we ordered it we would have to pay for it. We told him but we did not like it - it tasted very sour. He said we can order another roll. We said no, we just want it taken off the bill. We told him restaurants take care of the customers when they clearly do not like the food (and my wife and I have both worked in restaurants before) especially when only 2 pieces were eaten. We understand if we ate almost all of it, then yes, we should pay for it, but obviously we did not enjoy it at all as we could only stomach one piece. I told the manager he can make whatever decision he wanted, but we will not be back. It is sad that a manager is willing to lose a customer over a $12.95 roll. I guess make sure you ask for a tasting of the special sauce so you don't have to pay for something you won't like. read more

Really bad, so bad that I down loaded the app just the write this review. I ordered a chicken hibachi lunch special which came swimming in a sea of sweet brown sauce with the most dismal and nasty looking vegetables floating in it as well. I had to dap the chicken off with a napkin in order to stomach any of it. The rice they used to make the fried rice was stale and it was flavored with, surprise, surprise, more of the brown sauce! First time I've ever walked out of a restaurant leaving the majority of the food on my plate. I haven't tried their sushi, maybe that's the way to go. Feeling dumb for wasting 11.55. read more

Lin's is by far, hands down the best restaurant in Havre de Grace, and I have been to all of them. My girlfriend and I eat there nearly once a week. Both the sushi and hibachi are phenomenal. I usually get the 3 roll sushi special but also love the fried rice and gyoza. The business is family owned and the service is very friendly. My life in HDG has greatly improved since Lin's opened. This Restaraunt is amazing. It has a nice, comfortable atmosphere...but I felt comfortable taking my 15 month old to dinner with us. I have been to many hibachi restaraunts but this was the best by far. The food was great, the chefs and staff were friendly and entertaining. They had the adult Sake bottle that they squirted into the adults mouths and special kids and toddler bottles to make them feel included. The kids bottle looked like the adult bottle but had juice in it...and the toddler version looked like a babby bottle filled with water. My son loved it...he smiled and squealed with joy as he was truly included in the entertaining meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for the couple looking for a nice night out, the family looking for a friendly restaraunt or even those looking for a good happy hour. read more

Delicious food and great service, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.The waitress was kind, polite and friendly she took care of all our needs. I got the udon stirfry with chicken and that was delicious but before that i got the veggie gyoza appetizer and that was also delicious and i had my first gyoza recent on a trip i went to Chicago and ive been looking for a place that has it here and i was not disappointed i can say i will definitely be coming here again, also i cannot end this review without recommending you get the green tea mochi it was perfect yummy and tasty my first mochi experience and i can say when i come back i will definitely be getting the green tea mochi again. Came here with family and had a very mixed experience. We ordered sushi and it was delicious, but the service was awful! I appreciate attentive servers but this was way over the top...we did not have a moment's peace and could not enjoy our meal due to the number of times we were interrupted by not only our own server, but other servers and staff asking us how our meal was and reaching for our dishes as we ate. It was so frequent we could not carry on a conversation. Again, I appreciate the gesture, but this was just too much. The restaurant was nearly empty and it was bizarre that the staff were hovering like this, frequently returning and trying to take plates away while we were still eating. When we tried to explain this, the manager didn't seem to care. I hope that they address the issues with service because the food was very good!
