Strawberry daiquiri

Great service so sweet to the kids we had with us. Daiquiris had the best flavor and were very smooth. Sunrise roll was fresh and tempura was crunchy.

Sooo good and fast service. The staff is always so welcoming and pleasant. Sometimes they have a few gifts for kids that they share which keeps my kiddies always asking to come back. So smart! lol

Edemas- I forgot to take the pic until we had mostly demolished it. ‍

**New Menu** Oh my word!!! SOOOO good.. we did sushi, not habachi. I felt like a celebrity with the attention to detail, the elegance of the restaurant, plating and freshness of the sushi, and phenomenal service. Also perfection in attention to allergies (shellfish)- I didn't get sick! The only thing I didn't like was the price! (Each sushi specialty roll is around $18 with no b1g1f). If we lived closer I would come much more often!

Super respectful of allergies! Kyle was a great Hibachi Chef who has been working for 11 years. Quite entertaining but on the quiet side. Still friendly and had a lot of fun with us. Really made the experience friendly and happy! There is plenty of parking so no worries there's no worries about that. There is a table area and then the hibachi area. It's comfortable and as casual as you make it. Inside is classy and the restrooms are golden, hehe. But the food is quite salty but you can ask the chef to adjust it to your liking! And there are many variations which is fun and enjoyable for everyone in your party!!

In town for work, been here a couple times now. One for lunch, and tonight for dinner. Had the broccoli and beef, came with soup and side salad. Also had the salmon sashimi, with jalapeños. The broccoli was hot, and crisp. The beef was ok. Salmon with peppers wasn't bad.

Been here multiple times with multiple people and they never disappoint. Beautiful food that tastes great and isn't super expensive.

So much fun! The chef kept missing his tides, but we had fun anyways. Great for birthdays too.

Everyone has told me that Ekiben is a must-try in Baltimore and now I understand why. My mom and I…read moregot to Ekiben a little after 5pm on Saturday and it was packed. While we waited for our food, many continuously piled in to order or pick up their food. I'd recommend calling in your order a head of time because they get pretty backed up, but the food is well worth the wait. I got the Tofu Brah bun and my mom got the chili noodles with pork and a side of rice and beans. All of the food was so flavorful and the portions were generous. The bun itself was so light and fluffy, and the tofu was crispy. They didn't skimp on the pork in the chili noodles - about half the dish was really tender pork. The rice and beans were nice and spicy too and my mom loved them! This is more of a grab and go kind of place, but there are two outdoor benches and some countertop seating inside

Review is for takeout only!…read more I ordered the FAMOUS Maryland softie sandwich a few days in advance! I'm so glad I did because I heard it sells out fast. This sandwich is pricey at ~$40. My friend and I split the cost since we were planning on having a second lunch after this lol. The sandwich is a crab cake + softshell crab on a very soft bao bun. It was pretty good but it was alittle lukewarm since we were late for our pick up (so our bad). Very good sandwich with delectable flavors with the crab cake full of meat and the crunchiness of the softshell crab. Pretty solid sandwich! Im not sure if its worth the price point but I appreciated as is.

I've driven by this restaurant many times and observed the parking lot was packed in the evening;…read morebecause of this, I decided to try it. It's a bit of a conundrum to find the entrance; it's on the back side, up a flight of stairs. The dining room brims with families, couples, groups of friends, seniors--all walks of life. One table away from me, sat a father and young son heartily munching on their dinners. I decided to ask them about the menu. The father told me that they come here once a month because his son is a picky eater, but loves GuGu's cooking, so consumes everything on his plate; and the dad thinks the place is the bomb. Started with the gyoza appetizer and enjoyed it very much. My seaweed salad was fresh and generous although the dressing was not to my liking, however able to change it up with some soy sauce and wasabi. A red curry duck main that I went with was luscious, meaty and satisfying. All dishes were nicely presented. Service is professional. I appreciate the linen-like, deposable napkins that are a part of the place setting--nicely absorbent. I agree with others that it takes time for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

We got takeout for lunch from here and really enjoyed the food. We got the bang bang shrimp bento,…read moreMongolian crispy beef bento, Thai basil shrimp bento, and the yuzo walnut shrimp bento. Each bento comes with rice, edamame, two steamed dumplings, miso soup, and a California roll. You can upgrade the roll for $2 so we got the shrimp tempura roll. They thoughtfully packed the sauce separately so that our shrimp and beef would not get soggy. The sauce for the yuzu shrimp was delicious. I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out. Would come back here again when I'm in the area.
