This was my second time using Liox. The first, I had no issues and I was satisfied, likely because I did not have to deal with customer service. This time around, it took TWO DAYS to get my laundry back. I get that they can be busy and thats understandable, what is not ok is not updating me at all about my laundry and not being available by phone (despite having a phone number listed) and taking hours to respond to email, if at all. This stressed me out considerably as most of my wardrobe was in that order. It eventually showed up late at night (after customer service promised two separate time windows that passed). Nobody ever answers the phone, text, or email. my laundry was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I can't reach anyone.

Generally speaking, Liox has been a great laundry service while living in the Murray Hill/Kips Bay area. I love that they pickup and deliver (the next day, unless you pay for rush same day service). My clothes come back cleaner than if I were to do my laundry myself in my buildings units. The fold job is also great and makes it easy to just put everything away quickly. I also think the pricing is reasonable. My only complaint is that there have been numerous times where I have received clothing that was NOT mine...people's gross underwear, raggedy shirts, etc. Makes me wonder what clothing items I have lost at the hands of Liox. read more

Visiting New York for work and needed laundry service. The hotel I was staying at Prices were outrageous, charging $7++ an item. Liox was amazing! I chose the best pick up and drop off times for me and they were on time both days! my clothes were cleaned and I didn't have to worry about trying to find a laundromat etc etc! Stores you credit information. called bank to dispute. charge extra for rugs, which is ridiculous. Asking you to leave good comment on yelp for a 10 dollars discount which is cheating. They do text you when it is done but you give away your personal information. I prefer my laundromat to be old fashion. read more

I had my duvet cover dry cleaned here because they're located on my block. It only took two days and my bedding is in perfectly clean condition now. I only spoke to one lady who worked there and she was very kind to me. She thought my bedding was misplaced at first (they also have a delivery system) so it took her some time to find it in the back. This is a dry cleaner near my apartment and offers great service! They send you texts after your dry cleaning is done which is convenient and thoughtful. Not sure what "organic cleaning" means but I'll take it! They also offer wash and fold, but I have a washer and dryer in my building so I've never tried that service. I wanted to like them. The app was great. Price was fine. Delivery always awesome. But they consistently used some industrial strength detergent even though I always asked for seventh generation. I emailed them about it and the guy was super nice, but he said it was a one time thing when really it had been happening for a while. And unfortunately it gave me eczema, which I've never had in my life, because I was sending my bedding as well. Sorry Liox. I'd happily have paid more for seventh generation if you'd asked but continuously giving me the wrong thing was not working for me. read more

I've been using Liox cleaners for the past 6 months about once a week (some weeks we do our own just to save some money). I love that they wash your clothes carefully and have detergent options so you can pick what you like. I wasn't a fan of other laundry services I'd tried because everything seemed to be washed with harsh detergent in hot water and dried on high no matter what. You can even set aside hang to dry items in your load. I also love that you can schedule everything online. So convenient! Employee on phone said she was a manager at THIS location even though owner lied to YELP to have my previous review taken down this is the location where I called and was told "Serge is never here and never available before noon". I then told her that Serge was currently writing me personally antagonizing emails to which she said she deeply apologized for but I then told her that meant nothing and Id be taking my business elsewhere.
