It was super easy to use their mobile ordering website and pickup was super quick at the table located behind the register. The matcha latte was a bit watered down, but it still had a nice sweet flavor to it since I added the vanilla syrup to my order. I probably wouldn't get this drink again, but since this was my first visit, I'll definitely give their other coffees and teas a try. Tik tok brought me here for their matcha! I had never heard of blueberry matcha before and so I had to come here. I was greeted by beautiful smiling faces. I felt so welcomed. I can see why this coffee shop gets raving reviews. Service is wonderful, and the selection is unique and wide. I went for a cappuccino, my usual menu item at any new to me coffee shop. They use different "milk" types, including almond. If you order your drink to stay, you get it in a beautiful cup that many people posted pictures of. It is so vibrant and colorful! The drink was very good, and the atmosphere quiet and relaxed. On a Saturday afternoon there were few people there, but I can see how during business hours the coffee shop can get quickly filled up. Seating is plentiful, and decor is somewhat rustic with elements of industrial feel. I generally prefer cozier atmosphere, but to each their own. Another very good reason to live in Temecula, The Liquid Leaf, is by far the only shop I know that's available in SoCal. When it comes to one of my favorite drinks, the Leaf rose on the occasion. A huge fan of matcha and boba but when mixed into one with a squeeze of vanilla extract then it escalates the refreshing drink to the next level. I can name a few good boba places but found to have the texture and softness of the Leafs' boba to be the best. The sausage and bacon burritos are highly recommended. The soft flour tortilla is served between warm and hot. The elements inside are flavorful and filled with distinctive spices. It can be paired with the sriracha sauce, in confinement packets, to enhance the joy of eating. There are plenty of more food selections on the menu. The staff here are articulate and friendly. The place is kept really clean. Plenty of parking spaces nearby. We'll continue to visit over again. read more

They have pastries and a number of different flavors of coffees and teas. Very unique flavors in my opinion. I tried the honey lavender latte where you could literally taste the lavender and honey. It had the perfect amount of sweetness, not too sweet which I really appreciate cause sometimes lattes are too damn sweet! Also tried the peach apricot black tea which was very refreshing. These aren't sweetened so you just add sugar to your liking. I had the empire cookie which reminded me of a pop tart, just in the shape of a cookie. It tasted like two thin butter cookies with a jelly like substance sandwiched in between, which was great. I enjoyed the cups our drinks were served in as well. The tea was served in a mason jar while my latte was served in a hand crafted decorative cup. These little details are so adorable at coffee shops. The customer service aspect is very poor, but some food items are delicious. The Scottish breakfast tea is not authentic, however it is a tasty blend of black teas. I patronized this business since 2018 because I love to support independent businesses and was looking for something different as this place promised a Scottish flare, my heritage as well. I thought that I had a nice rapport with Jane, the Scottish owner, and Shania, the manager, even though they made a few mistakes over the years, but I only complained once. The reason being is that they essentially insinuated that I was a liar because they insisted that they do not make mistakes and treated me very condescendingly. They do not take constructive criticism well, no matter how professionally and kindly you present it to them. Recently, the owner Jane, had her manager Shania, approach me and ask me and my sweet, introverted husband, who has never registered a complaint anywhere, to never return without giving a reason. I am disappointed because I supported them diligently at least three times a week from the beginning of Covid until the other day. Lately, I have thrown out several teas they brewed for me because they scalded milk, but I never mentioned it to them and tend to be too forgiving. I slowed down on purchasing tea from them, but I did enjoy their delicious English scones. I will pray for Jane because she needs to improve upon her customer service skills and learn to treat people more respectfully. After 20 years of working in customer service and enjoying customers who waited in a long line to see me, spending thousands of dollars here, and referring many family and friends to the Liquid Leaf, I realized that this is a blessing in disguise because I spent way too much money here, was treated disrespectfully, and have found more affordable and authentic products that are better from Rival Coffee, Ryan Bros, and The Crafted Scone. read more

The Liquid Leaf is solid gold! I came here with my daughter for the first time last week. She found this absolute gem on Yelp and it definitely lives up to the ratings and more! It was so good we had to come back the next day! I absolutely love coffee and enjoy lattes too, especially with my daughters. They too really love the teas and coffees, and fell in love with the cups the owner uses...not to mention the shop's decor. We spoke with the owner on both visits and she is incredibly awesome! Evidently, she and her husband have poured their passion into their business and it absolutely shows. They were involved in the details of planning and building out the interior of the shop, constructing the tables and pouring/forming the concrete counter tops. This was their first time doing this type of work and it is amazing just how great everything turned out. The attention to detail, the colors and warmth are so evident. Just walking in the shop puts you in a good - better mood. I thoroughly enjoyed the mocha latte so much, I had it again the next day! They use Ghirardelli chocolate and wow what a difference that makes! I spent 3 weeks traveling Scotland, England and Ireland in August of 2017. I went to scores of cafés along the journey and The Liquid Leaf is right up there with that level of experience. We had two wonderful experiences here at The Liquid Leaf and will make this our go to café, especially when my girls are in town! Make this a destination and you will not be disappointed. The flavours of mocha infused with the peppermint were very distinct and satisfying without being overly sweet. They have a lot of interesting items on their menu, such as their own kombucha on tap, which I wanted to try. They have a variety of small batch items on the menu which include a variety of teas and coffees. The space was very clean and friendly, and the baristas were extremely friendly and showed in-depth understanding of their menu items. So confused about how they got this many good reviews. We went there this morning and our drinks were terrible. They messed up our order and put cream cheese on mine and my son's sandwiches. When I brought it back they tried to scrape the cream cheese off without telling me but I saw them doing it and said no. Their excuse was that it was the last everything bagel. My new sandwich had cold eggs. When I called to let them know the disappointment they were very rude! Spent $55 an hour for bad food, drinks, and customer service. Should have stuck to Starbucks! The Liquid Leaf has become one of my favorite go-to cafe spots this summer. It's a great place to study or to meet a friend. I personally enjoy doing devotionals with my boyfriend here. The music isn't too loud and the space is very open and bright. The prices are fair, the customer service is great, and the drinks are stellar. If you check-in, you get a free espresso shot in any of your drinks. But if you're like me, you can take the shot separately. My personal favorite here is the Iced Blueberry Matcha Latte. It tastes exactly like you'd imagine and it's so refreshing. If you're a matcha fan, it's a fun twist on a classic flavor. I especially like how you can choose your milk. As soon as you walk in you can tell a lot of heart has gone into the details of this business. There are so many creative flavor mixes it took me a moment to decide what to get. The white chocolate blueberry muffin was incredibly moist and delicious. Possibly the BEST gf muffin I've ever enjoyed. My drink was a bit watered down so that was a little disappointing but because I can tell they care about quality I wouldn't be shy to come back and ask how I can order it in a way I'll enjoy a bit more.
