Love having a delicious tea/coffee shop just down the street. We loved everything about it. The drinks are on point and you can tell it's all made fresh. From the chai, to the matcha, latte a the tea, we couldn't decide which we liked best. The cash register girl was very nice and patient as we out in our long order. Great service. Staff is happy. We really enjoyed playing a little game of Uno. Found a nice wide table that allowed us to play plus the ambiance was perfect, not loud but not too quiet. It's perfect. We did order food but it was good that we forgot to take pictures. Their egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on their everything bagel with extra pesto was delicious. The avo w/an over hard egg bagel was so good too. So much flavor and so fresh. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommend visiting this shop. They have everything you need to satisfy your pallet and knowing it's all made fresh.

The rolls were amazing! Both were fluffy and not overly sweet, which was a huge plus! The portions were pleasantly large and I appreciated how the ube flavor was actually present. The owner is very nice and accommodating too. I'll definitely be back!

Great food and service ! Only a few comfy seats but still great for an hour or two if you're reading or working on your laptop . also HUGE COFFEE cups. I haven't been served a cup like this since the 90s.

Love this place. Ambience is mellow and peaceful providing the perfect atmosphere for beginning your day. Their beverages are extremely refreshing and delightfully delicious A huge variety of coffees and teas to satisfy most people. Great friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

My drink was pretty tasty, but it seemed like they totally forgot to make my order for a while and then rushed it.. The person who took my order was super friendly though. Really disappointed by the abundant AI 'art' though. It's tough to support a business that couldn't see the value in supporting a local artist to make them some great murals and instead resorted to generated images. :/

Such a cozy little spot--one of those places you end up staying longer than you planned. The coffee is really good -- my fave is the Cookie Butter Latte. Make sure you come on a Saturday that's when they have their cinnamon rolls, it goes so well with the coffee because it's not too sweet. We ended up taking half a dozen to go! Staff is really friendly, we came during their grand reopening and got to chat with the owners who are also super sweet and welcoming. Me and my husband plan to come back to try other things on the menu like the Matcha, Hojicha and Panini's!

I finally got the chance to try this spot! It's in a busy Albertsons shopping center. We arrived around 9 in morning and there quite a bit of people inside already. The cafe has a greenery, rustic feel to it. There are murals of plants and a butterfly on the walls with potted fake/real plants around. There is merch for sale like hats and also plants. There already customers inside, at the tables chatting or eating/drinking. The menu is on a tablet displayed on the wall. They have so much to choose from! They have a breakfast menu from 7:30-10:30 am and lunch menu from 10:30am-1:30 pm. This mainly consists of bagels, toast, and sandwiches. They also have a pastry shelf with scones and other goodies. I decided to get the bacon bagel avocado toast and the iced blueberry matcha. They have different sizes for drinks and different types of bagels. The barista asked if it was to go and I said yes. My order came out to $21 with some change. People were always coming and going and the staff were always taking and making orders. Staff is friendly. My order did not take too long to be ready. The toast looked very aesthetically pleasing with the way everything was arrange in the to go box. My blueberry matcha was the right amount of green. The bagel was very delicious and my blueberry matcha was so good! This was my first time tasting a blueberry matcha and you can really taste the blueberry. This cafe may not be for everyone depending what you're looking for. This was such a good experience!

Liquid Leaf has officially become our go-to spot. We've been on the hunt for the best matcha, and we finally found it here. The blueberry matcha was my original favorite. So good. But now they've introduced the ube matcha, and honestly... it's the best one yet. Smooth, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweetness. The vibe of the shop is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff are always so friendly. You can tell they really care about the experience they're creating. My family is obsessed with the food too! The everything bagel, bacon popper panini, and chicken panini are all solid favorites. And I have to mention the cookie butter latte... easily one of the best I've had. We always have a great experience every time we visit. Liquid Leaf is hands down our favorite spot for matcha and lattes.

I swung by The Liquid Leaf when my craving for a matcha latte hit. It's tucked on the southwest corner of Winchester & Murrieta Hot Springs, w plenty of parking... which is great, bc nothing ruins a matcha moment like playing musical chairs w parking spots. The staff was super friendly and had my 24 oz matcha latte ready faster than I could finish taking pics inside. The drink itself was good....smooth, pleasant, totally drinkable.... but it was missing that little "wow" factor that fancy ceremonial-grade sparkle that makes you feel like you've ascended into matcha heaven. Tasty, but just not life-changing.

Fell in love with Liquid Leaf the moment I walked in! The space is cozy, comfy, and spacious, and the beautiful wallpaper adds such a charming and relaxing touch. The Bacon Popper Panini and Chicken Pesto Panini are the BEST I've ever tasted! The owner mentioned they're freshly made every day, and you can really tell--everything tastes fresh and high quality. As a matcha lover, I can say this place hits the bullseye The Matcha Raspberry Latte with vanilla cold cream and caramel drizzle is a total standout! The staff are also super friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and make you feel welcome. Amazing vibe, amazing food, and amazing service. I'll definitely be coming back again and again!

Mango puree matcha & brown sugar matcha

Service was good and matchas were made very quickly. Brown sugar matcha was amazing! The mango puree matcha was quite the opposite, the whole drink was extremely watered down and not good, im assuming because the puree was too watery but definitely will be back to try a regular matcha!

    Jeanevive L.

Liquid Leaf has quickly become one of my favorite spots. Their matcha is sooo good, always made perfectly, and the food never disappoints. I've brought so many friends and family here, and now they even go on their own without me & that's how you know it's a good spot. Everything is consistently fresh, the vibe is great, and it's definitely a place I'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend

I love the new vibe here. We've been coming here since the beginning & it has a little bit of the old & definitely some new things. They still have great sandwiches, scones & matcha latte drinks that we love so much. The menu is a bit more simplified. We spend a just little less time at the register pondering what we want w/ the new digital menu. We will continue to come here for our special lunch dates.

Ask the Community - Liquid Leaf

Are there outlets/plugs for customers to use to charge laptops?

    Yes there are several outlets

As of April 27, 2021 Do they allow indoor seating?

    They do now. Yes.

    Is their vegan baked goods?

At this moment in time, we do not have vegan goodies. We do make most of our food in house and do have some great Gluten free items, so working toward more alternative diet items is definitely a thing for us. Stay tuned :-) Thank you for asking.

Will this coffee shop allow you to do your school work?

I work here often. I always buy something, because it would be rude to take up a table without buying anything.

The establishment itself is clean, spacious, and has a great atmosphere, which made the experience even more disappointing. We ordered lattes around 2:30 PM, and it was not busy at all, so the nearly 20-minute wait made no sense for drinks that were clearly listed on the menu board. The first issue was that our order was handed out to the wrong customer because of a common name mix-up. A simple solution would be using last initials, nicknames, or order numbers for customers with common names. Unfortunately, it didn't get better from there. After remaking the drinks, the order was still wrong two more times. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of urgency to correct it. While we waited, staff continued pushing out other customers' orders while ours kept getting delayed and moved to the back. Mistakes happen, but three failed attempts for basic latte drinks and a 20-minute wait during a slow afternoon is unacceptable. The lack of organization, attention to detail, and customer service left a poor impression. Unfortunately, despite the nice environment, we will not be returning. I highly recommended that if you have a common name to add your last name initial.

I left a not so raving review at the other location because I wasn't impressed with that and didnt go back to the chain as many other coffee shops will increase the espresso amount or even double it with the larger sizes. The owner/manager responded to my review which I appreciated and he said that things were in the works. I felt heard and so I was prepared to change my review if that indeed happened. Well, I'm coming back a year later because I wanted to give it some time and Ive now moved here so I'm a local but unfortunately no changes have happened. They have definitely updated their menu drinks to new seasonal items so I guess this feedback felt between the cracks and instead decided to just make new drink. Drinks themselves are way sweet and even even when asking if I can get it half sweet, everything else just overpowers the coffee that I'm trying to taste - it must be all that milk and sugar with little espresso. This location does have nicer staff as the one in downtown/old town Murietta were rude and with attitudes.

The location in downtown Murrieta is great, the inside is beautiful, and the menu offers a really good variety of coffees, specialty beverages, and food options. I also love that they have a spacious outdoor seating area and games for kids, which is a huge plus for families like ours with two young children. That said, there are a few reasons I can't give it 5 stars. First, the music inside is consistently WAY too loud. It's honestly difficult to have a conversation without practically yelling across the table to hear each other. Because of that, we almost always choose to sit outside when the weather allows. Second, while the outdoor area is a great concept with plenty of seating and kid-friendly games, I really wish the ground wasn't entirely gravel, rocks, and dirt. It makes it uncomfortable for kids to play in, and they end up covered in dust and little rocks in their clothes and shoes every single time. Then it all gets tracked into the car afterward. I think the space would be so much more enjoyable if it were paved or had grass or artificial turf instead. It would make a huge difference not only for children, but also for dogs. We bring ours along often, and the gravel is uncomfortable for their paws and for laying down, so they usually try to squeeze onto our laps instead. Lastly, the rewards program could really use improvement. We come here often, usually ordering at least two drinks plus food, and after many, many visits we still aren't even close to the 100 points needed for just $5 off. It feels like you have to spend a significant amount of money before seeing any real reward, which makes the program feel a little discouraging. Overall, this is still a nice local coffee shop with a lot of potential and many things we genuinely enjoy, but there are definitely a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better.

Bottom line: great product, just not a place I'd hang out in. I'd definitely come back--but I'd order ahead and take it to go next time.
