I basically walked in with "celebration vibes" and blind optimism. Ended up grabbing a bottle of Moët Ice Impérial and then needed help with a price adjustment. Despite the store being packed, Emily at checkout was incredibly friendly and helpful. Manager Edwin came over, quickly handled the adjustment, and even knocked a little extra off for the inconvenience. No hassle, no attitude, just genuinely great customer service. It's easy to provide service when things go smoothly. It's more telling how people respond when there is a hiccup. Emily and Edwin made the experience easy and pleasant. This is a location that I have visited a lot. Last night was a great visit. While shopping around I ran into another employee who I had small talk with then I had asked him to use the bathroom. He had to go back to that area with me due to their policy & when I walked in I saw no toilet paper. He actually went into the bathroom & grabbed a roll that was in there & put it on the dispenser. I didn't have a problem doing it myself if he would of just pointed it out but he went above & beyond. I joked & said that must of been a man who didn't replace the empty roll and he agreed!! LOL When I came out he was in the area within eye's view & I told him how I loved the Bath & Body soap & said "that must of been a girls doing!" and he told me it was. He was really nice & friendly. While shopping in here I had thought of this product I had bought from a Lee's location before & was in one aisle looking for it. I couldn't remember the name of it?? I knew I'd know it if I saw it. I never miss a Tuesday for Hapahaole's Hawaiian street tacos, and Fridays are reserved for Signora Pizza, the best Italian truck in town. The owners and staff of both trucks are incredibly sweet and attentive; they always make you feel welcome while you're grabbing your food. I love that you can grab a drink from the shop and relax in the cozy indoor seating area (they even have books!) or enjoy the outdoor patio during the spring and summer. I had just sold my old car at CarMax located down the road and my dad requested that we stop by Total Wine & More before I took him home. I decided to go inside with him because I was curious what they had here. He had his eye on a specific type of white wine and thanks to someone here that helped him out, he ended up clearing out all of its' inventory, buying at least six bottles of this specific brand. It was a Riesling white wine but I don't remember the full name of it. He and my mom now have plenty of wine to go through over the next couple of months lol. Here, I thought to myself, I should buy myself a bottle of wine as well. At my dad's suggestion and since I'm a big fan of Chardonnay and other types of white wine, I picked up a Nobilis white wine straight out of Portugal. When I traveled to Europe a couple of years ago, I did a lot of white wine tastings and this is pretty much how my white wine palate peaked. I've yet to visit Portugal, though. I haven't opened this bottle yet, but I already know that I'll like it. Although I don't really frequent Total Wine & More, they have a wide variety of wine and alcohol choices to choose from.
