Okay I am not a reviewer at all! And I do usually go to my regular place not far from Orange County:/ but today I had went in because I seen good online reviews and because of that I had asked for a brown change of hair color from my black hair and was given a copper brown. Please note that if you do get your hair done here they will be working on multiple woman at the same time and not focused just solely on your hair! I had asked if the hair would have red undertones in the brown and was answered no that it would be a nice brown like I wanted! And then was accused of coming in will ill intentions when all I initially said that I did not want red hair:( I was super understanding that the worker who did my hair did a good job it just wasn't the color we agreed and I did ask multiple times if the color is red that is not right! Disclaimer I noticed that they repeated my initial color 2-3 times trying to get rid of the orange hue on the top of my head and roots in general from a bleach.!! My hair got extremely damaged and I did still have to pay. I suggested a brown gloss but it was clear they did not like that I was be respectful but firm that I would not pay full price that was asked for a head of copper when I wanted brown:/.! read more

LATE POST: I came to Lisa's salon referred by a good friend of mine, my visit was last September. I explained to her my issues with the current situation with my hair, going dark didn't match my complexion and didn't look good as I'm getting older. I was blonde for a very long time and the past few years, I promised my daughter I'd go back to my original hair color so we're alike. I went to black and transitioned to dark brown along the way. I desperately needed a change, a refreshed and younger look AND Lisa DID NOT disappoint! I read the reviews and had doubts coming in; truly a different experience than other salons I've been to but Lisa is very knowledgeable with hair/product and explains the process. I was there for many hours because I got balayage with treatment. It was a process to bleach my roots and so forth. She had a lot of clients that day, but my daughter and I were very patient. I made sure we came in early, we even went to 85 degree bakery next door to eat some snacks while my color was setting. I was super ecstatic with the end result and going back to blonde was the best decision I've ever made! My daughter LOVES her hairstyle and we're definitely coming back! I recently relocated from Philly to SoCal and was searching for a new hair stylist. I found Lisa on Google and from the few pictures I saw, I took a chance on her and I am so glad I did! Lisa was very communicative over text message and on the phone. I let her know I wanted all over highlights and a haircut and gave me clear and consistent pricing. I hate to leave a negative review for her because I did like her work at first but then things went downhill. First of all, she books several people at once. Overbooking is a huge problem with her. It extends your appointment by half an hour to hours. It's not ok. She's taken around 5-8 clients in between me every time I'm there. Now to the hair. I asked for a blonde on originally dark hair and she did it in one session. It was the first time I'd seen anyone create blonde hair from my dark hair in such a relatively short amount of time, given almost every other stylist will divide it into multiple sessions. When she said she could do it, I was in. But the cost of all that is severely damaged hair. It always looked great in the beginning and I followed all her care instructions meticulously every week. But as time when on, my hair was so burnt and kept falling out and no doubt it was from her. I thought it was baby hair until I realized it was burnt off ends of my hair. Even with the almost $300 olaplex treatment she did, my hair burnt off. Second, I don't know what process she does during your blonde appointment but she puts a brown dye of sorts into your scalp which BURNS. Heavily. Almost to the point where you could cry. You bring it to her attention and she says it's normal. I saw a review on here where a lady went to a scalp doctor after a blonding appointment with Lisa because her scalp was flaking off. Same happened to me. Even days after my appointment my hair was blonde but it almost wasn't worth the cost of my bloody flaky scalp. Again, I don't know what she does, but that brown dye burns. It should be considered dangerous. I've never heard of the blonding process being as painful as that. Third, the prices are outrageous in hindsight. This is Westminster not Los Angeles. I promise you there's better places to color your hair. Just don't even touch this place. Her haircuts are the only thing I will say I like. She used men's razor for my haircut and I'm a woman. It was weird. Never in my life have I seen anyone use a razor for women's hair. All in all you need to avoid this place. Her work is alluring and the blondes she creates is gorgeous, but it comes at a cost. A very very big cost. read more

I came to this place on March 1st for a haircut. My hair was dyed black a month prior to coming here. Lisa was very nice and suggested if I want to go lighter on my hair and go balayage.
