    10" SOS specialty pizza
    Rachel P.

I get takeout from Reginelli's often since I live close by and love the pizza there. They have so many vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options for those special tastes/needs, which is difficult to find in BR. My most recent order of the SOS pizza is the main reason I'm leaving a review today. I usually get the Fresconon (which is delicious and super satisfying for a vegetarian option), but when I opened the box of the SOS, I was greeted with one of the prettiest pizzas I've ever seen...so demur... Anyway, here's a pic of a beautiful, flavorfully balanced work of art. If you can't already tell, I was having a bad day. So, yeah -- bit of a weird reaction to a pizza. But the day got better after that :)

Had the seafood chowder. It was really good. I would defenilty get it again.

Waitress was very nice. Food was really good. Especially the seafood chowder. Would definitely go back soon.

    BBQ Shrimp Detroit-style pizza

I'm a pizza connoisseur and was told that the Detroit-style pizzas at Reginelli's were the best pizza (of any style) in town, so I decided to give it a shot. We ordered both pepperoni and a bbq shrimp versions, and while both were good, neither one really wowed us. In BR you could certainly do a lot worse, though.

Revisited today. We ordered the classic combo calzones. Very good. Still a slight hint of something sour in the air (two of us smelled it this time) but not as bad as last visit. I guess I'll call that "progress". lol.

    Bbq shrimp pizza

Say it with me, y'all! Reginelli's Pizzeria. This was one of the best places for a quick lunch date. Law school bestie wanted to try the bbq shrimp pizza and I can always go for a slice so we headed over to Jefferson Hwy. Reginelli's is located in the same plaza as Red Stick Spice Co. and SoGo Tea Co. The parking is convenient and plentiful, and the food is worth the trip. The ambiance was great! It's a much bigger space than it looks and it's bright and airy with plenty of booths and a nice sized bar. We started with wings. Their wings were a good size, with a nice crispy bite and not too hot. I had a Detroit slice of pepperoni which was good and not too greasy unlike other pies. The star of the show was truly the bbq shrimp pizza, though. It wasn't burn your mouth hot, it had a little kick, the caramelized onions shined through and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. They only offered it as a specialty pie so you couldn't get only a slice. So me and my friend went home with enough pizza to last for multiple days. They also do happy hour. The service was just okay. Not bad at all but nothing to really write home about. They did their jobs and delivered good food to the table. All in all, you've gotta try this place.

The pepperoni & sausage Detroit style pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in Baton Rouge. Everything on the pizza was perfectly proportioned (lol!)... not too much or too little of anything. I love a deep dish style pizza, and this one tops my list! It also wasn't too greasy. I could eat this entire pizza by myself. We usually get a side salad when we order. The salads are always good and come with plenty of dressing when you get carry out. They also have an 'Eat Fit' part of their menu... I haven't seen a lot of pizza places do this, and I think it is accommodating that they offer healthier options. The pizzeria is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. I normally get carry out when I go here, I only dined once, and the service was great... no complaints. Carry out is usually always quick and easy. Even when I dined in, I have never waited too long for service/my pizza.

Small hand tossed mozzarella pizza, added Kalamada olives, minced garlic & feta
    Leigh A.

The pizza has a fresh tasting marinara for the sauce. Chose ingredients to make it a Greek pizza. The hummus has perfectly balanced flavors. Loved the light, bright tasting dressing on the salad and the greens were super fresh, nothing wilted or past its prime here. Every dish shows attention to detail. Besides tables, there's plenty of cozy booths too. Service very attentive too. Everything is obviously fresh, house made with high quality ingredients.. can't go wrong here.. something on the menu for everyone!

    Baked Brie Calzone
    Liza S.

AMAZING! I came here for the fall menu (a bit late posting this review, I know). Everything was delicious and well-prepared with great flavors. I had everything on the menu, which was: Baked Brie Calzone (with spiced fruit chutney): This was ok but nothing special Ricotta Detroit-Style Pizza (with hot honey, roasted tomatoes, brick cheese, ricotta, olives, white cheddar, and a pesto drizzle): This was perfection. So delicious with so many perfect and complementary flavors Pumpkin Cheesecake: One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had I always have fantastic meals at Reginelli's, and this was no different. Until now, I have only been to the locations in New Orleans. All locations I've been to are wonderful and I highly recommend!

    King cake cocktail
    Peyton F.

Everything was super good. The king cake cocktail was delicious and strong. The spinach dip was great as well, but we did have to order extra bread because they only got us through half the dip. I will say that I wish that the pizza had more chicken when we added chicken.

Place is well ran- found it years before covid and never left as a frequent flyer. Little neighborhood restaurant located in mid city. I can say it is not as good as it used to be. However it is still so good.

There was salads, sandwiches, vegetarian options and lots of sides and dessert options. Because I didn't know if the sandwiches would come with sauce on them, which I don't like, I opted for a Cesar salad with a brownie. During our meeting before lunch, Jason's Deli delivered our boxes and put our names on the boxes so you knew which one was yours. I really liked this inside of just categorizing by lunch type: sandwich, salad, soup. When I opened my box, my Cesar salad was there with a big cup of dressing on the side. There was also two slices of bread and my delicious brownie. The salad was delicious and so was the bread and brownie. If I'm ever needing to cater for something, I am definitely doing Jason's Deli!

First, the store was dirty. Plates were piles up on numerous tables. The floors were sticky. Next, I ordered behind a group of three people. After they ordered, the employee walked off and I waited another five minutes or so to order. I had to repeat my order twice and correct the drink as she was pouring it. I stepped aside to wait. While waiting, a couple of kids walked in. They waited about 10 minutes without being acknowledged. They left and two employees who just needed to acknowledge their existence made some snarky comments for all to hear. While I was waiting, there was clearly a tussle in the kitchen with employees shouting at each other and one lovely f bomb dropped. Another employee mediated and calmed it down, but they all had attitude. The trio in front of me got their food after about 20 minutes of waiting. A door dasher came and waited a while during that time and got his order. Someone finally asked me what I was waiting on. I am pretty sure at that moment they just started to make it. Here is where the only star was earned - A very nice employee walked out with my food after another 10 minutes and apologized for the wait. She offered me a free item, but I just took a refill of my drink. She was friendly and acknowledged the fact I had been waiting for so long. (35 minutes for slathering chicken salad on a croissant) I walked out the door just in front of that trio who had finished their meals and I had just received mine. So I took my order home..... no side. The sandwich was correct, but they did not give me the entire order. That was disappointing. And I paid way too much for that sandwich. I won't go back. As much as I loved the restaurant and love the menu all these years, this location sours it. Someone in corporate needs to visit this location because it will not and should not make it.
