Got a completely overcooked pizza for close to 30 bucks. It's absolutely astonishing to me that whoever is making pizzas there didn't remake this before letting it out of the kitchen. I get takeout from Reginelli's often since I live close by and love the pizza there. They have so many vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options for those special tastes/needs, which is difficult to find in BR. My most recent order of the SOS pizza is the main reason I'm leaving a review today. I usually get the Fresconon (which is delicious and super satisfying for a vegetarian option), but when I opened the box of the SOS, I was greeted with one of the prettiest pizzas I've ever seen...so demur... It was empty when I arrived some a same to sit wherever I wanted. I asked for a water with lime and he said no lime. Then I asked for a ginger ale. He said they didn't have any. I asked where I could I find the beverage menu and he pointed me to the beer and wine menus. I then specified that I was obviously asking about non alcoholic beverages consorting my first two asks. I'm a pizza connoisseur and was told that the Detroit-style pizzas at Reginelli's were the best pizza (of any style) in town, so I decided to give it a shot. This place is a simple pizza place. We were craving pizza and wanted to try somewhere new. When we went it looked like there was only one server so she was very busy. She was super sweet but not as tentative and I normally would've liked. It's not her fault though. I got the spin dip and the person I went with built their own pizza. The spin dip was good and the pizza was good. Nothing stood out to me. However I'll go back and probably order more options. read more

The pepperoni & sausage Detroit style pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in Baton Rouge. Everything on the pizza was perfectly proportioned (lol!)... not too much or too little of anything. I love a deep dish style pizza, and this one tops my list! It also wasn't too greasy. I could eat this entire pizza by myself. We usually get a side salad when we order. The salads are always good and come with plenty of dressing when you get carry out. They also have an 'Eat Fit' part of their menu... I haven't seen a lot of pizza places do this, and I think it is accommodating that they offer healthier options. The pizzeria is located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. I normally get carry out when I go here, I only dined once, and the service was great... no complaints. Carry out is usually always quick and easy. Say it with me, y'all! Reginelli's Pizzeria. This was one of the best places for a quick lunch date. Law school bestie wanted to try the bbq shrimp pizza and I can always go for a slice so we headed over to Jefferson Hwy. Reginelli's is located in the same plaza as Red Stick Spice Co. and SoGo Tea Co. The parking is convenient and plentiful, and the food is worth the trip. The ambiance was great! It's a much bigger space than it looks and it's bright and airy with plenty of booths and a nice sized bar. We started with wings. Their wings were a good size, with a nice crispy bite and not too hot. I had a Detroit slice of pepperoni which was good and not too greasy unlike other pies. The star of the show was truly the bbq shrimp pizza, though. It wasn't burn your mouth hot, it had a little kick, the caramelized onions shined through and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. They only offered it as a specialty pie so you couldn't get only a slice. So me and my friend went home with enough pizza to last for multiple days. They also do happy hour. The service was just okay. Not bad at all but nothing to really write home about. They did their jobs and delivered good food to the table. All in all, you've gotta try this place. read more

AMAZING! I came here for the fall menu (a bit late posting this review, I know). Everything was delicious and well-prepared with great flavors. I had everything on the menu, which was: Baked Brie Calzone (with spiced fruit chutney): This was ok but nothing special Ricotta Detroit-Style Pizza (with hot honey, roasted tomatoes, brick cheese, ricotta, olives, white cheddar, and a pesto drizzle): This was perfection. So delicious with so many perfect and complementary flavors Pumpkin Cheesecake: One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had I always have fantastic meals at Reginelli's, and this was no different. The pizza has a fresh tasting marinara for the sauce. Chose ingredients to make it a Greek pizza. The hummus has perfectly balanced flavors. Loved the light, bright tasting dressing on the salad and the greens were super fresh, nothing wilted or past its prime here. Every dish shows attention to detail. Finally checked out Reginelli's thanks to a Yelp virtual event on Zoom (Thanks to the Corona/COVID pandemic). We got to see how these Detroit style pizzas were made, and boy, was my mouth watering!! We tried to get one Friday night, but by 5:30, they had sold out for the day. So we called at noon on Saturday and preordered and prepaid to pick up for dinner. They prep the dough in the morning so definitely plan ahead! Saturday was only the second day restaurants were able to have dine in again, so we chose to stick to take out. We pulled up, and almost immediately a Reginelli's worker came out to our car to see what we needed. We were early so got to watch some inside action from our cars. Not much happening really, just staff wearing their cute Reginelli's black masks and gloves. An older couple (who were also greeted at their cars) chose to go inside and eat. All wore masks and all appeared normal (well, new normal with the masks) as their orders were taken from their booths. We never had to leave our car, which I have to say was pretty sweet since it rained some while we were there. They brought our pizzas out, wrote down the tip so as not to hand us the pen, and we were off. The hardest thing was not devouring the aromatic pizza that luckily was put in the backseat - away from grabby hands, my grabby hands that is Lol. Family feedback: adults loved the barbecue shrimp Detroit pizza but could have used more shrimp. To be fair, it's rare that you eat food with shrimp that you don't want more shrimp, but each piece had 1-2 shrimp on it. Everyone loved the pepperoni Detroit pizza. The garlic knots, well, our 10 year old said they were more like Parmesan knots and refused to eat as she doesn't like cheese (*cough, freak, cough*) other than mozzarella. ‍‍ No worries, the rest of us devoured them. All in all, great experience and great food. We are pizza lovers but typically super cheap as we frequent the Domino's rewards program. This was quite a treat to try some gourmet pizzas for a change! May not do it too often as the price is way more than Domino's, but if it weren't for that, I could see us being regulars at Reginelli's. Was picking up a delivery from here and the order was supposed to be ready for 7:45, ended up waiting until 8:20 after they said only 5 more minutes initially .. not really that busy either. Tried this spot for the first time in September & LOVED IT!! Even though the kids didn't get to make their own pizza as the menu stated, they enjoyed their cheese pizza. My hubby gave his pizza a solid 8 (just wishes he'd asked them to cook it a little longer for a firmer crust) but the first pull was a 10! The stretch of the cheese is important lol. With my waitress' suggestion, I ordered the Shrimply Irresistible & subbed the gnocci for baked tortellini and IT. WAS. EVERYTHING. Service was great. Food was delicious. Restaurant was clean. Oh my goodness, we feel like we made a discovery, even though we drive past Reginelli's all the time! We rarely go out for pizza, because my husband is gluten free, but thankfully, many places are starting to have gluten free crust options! My Margherita was excellent, and my husband loved his Saltimboca. We actually had to ask if the GF crust really was GF, because it was so good! He couldn't believe it! However, I'm very tempted to give this place 4 stars, because the upcharge was outrageous at $6 for GF. The taste makes up for that though! read more

Pizza and a beer was what we wanted. So we decided to try Reginelli's. We were all the customers when we got there, that was nice. The place was clean the service staff was hopping doing side work, folding pizza boxes and such.Julie wanted a beer but the choices are four dollars a bottle, and on Mondays and Tuesdays they have four dollar pitchers of beer, that too much for a bottle without a floor show and too much beer in a pitcher for Julie. We got the classic combo pizza which was very good. It's a good size for two people. Medium pizzas run around fifteen bucks and a large 22 dollars. Being in Louisiana they have Cajun choices and two different chicken pizzas. There's salads and sandwiches and pasta dishes too. Overall we enjoyed our visit and we will go back!! read more

Reginelli's is a deliciously different pizzeria. Oh sure, if you want Italian classics, you can certainly have them here, and they will be very good indeed. But what really makes this place great is the creative dishes, like the ham and fig sandwich, or the roasted cauliflower and vegetable salad. They certainly have pizza options, or you can build your own. The calzones are stuffed full of goodness. If you want something lighter, there are the extensive salad choices. I personally recommend the Italian Salami Salad, or the Avocado and Artichoke Salad. Sandwiches shine here as well, with many creative choices, and old favorites like the Muffuletta and the Meatball. Keep in mind they have an all day lunch special, where you can get a half a sandwich and soup or salad for a very nice price. So, drop in this Mid-City pizza place for a meal, or order their delivery. It certainly is much better than most pizza that will come to your door! read more

Delicious pizza! My husband and I shared the Combo pizza which had pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell pepper, onion and mushroom. I love their crust because it isn't too thick but not paper thin either. We also shared a tiramisu for dessert which was delicious also. The only critique is we wish it would've been colder. The food and service were really good! Tasty pizza. It was nice and quiet even though there were at least five other groups eating. I didn't like the fact that one of the waitresses wiped her nose and mouth but continued to drive without washing her hands. Another one kept moving her hair with her hands. I really loved the atmosphere here. It does give me old time pizza joint vibes with the bar next to the kitchen, I loved it. It's really inviting, very nice staff that makes some of the best recommendations. They are so accommodating too, cause I'm pescatarian, I always try to order things that I can have but sometimes I jus be wanting to remove the meat from things lol I went with the Mardi Gras menu which was the best thing. Saw an ad on Instagram advertising their Mardi Gras menu. I clicked the link and I was obsessed! I saw the Cajun Crawfish Pizza and The Mardi Gras cocktail. I was sold. I HAD to stop by! The lights were low. So the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic date night. Ok let's chat about the pizza and cocktail I experienced. The pizza crust was thin and crispy (it had a little fluff to it not what you'd expect from a thin crust pizza) ! My pizza Louisiana crawfish, Topped with fresh Louisiana Crawfish, Creamy Creole Alfredo, Holy Trinity, Button Mushrooms, Fresh Garlic, & Mozzerella. Perfect amount of toppings! Creative combinations and fresh ingredients. I also had their Mardi Gras cocktail. If you enjoy boozy milk this is the drink for you. Fireball, Rumchata, Vanilla Soy Milk, Cinnamon, Whipped Cream, Cinnamon Crumbles. It tasted like liquid king cake. I loved how the GM , Dan came came out and held a conversation with me.
