Enjoyed the paleo.
Lisa W.

Enjoyed the paleo. Would add a bit more green veggies. But still good. Gracious staff. Spacious location, plenty of great seating and good music to vibe off of with friends or on a solo adventure. Would definitely come again.

The Little Beet is one of my go to spots to order from while at work. I usually place a DoorDash pick up order for a custom bowl. They've messed up my order a couple times, forgetting the salmon or the sauce, but are usually pretty reliable. The food is super yummy. I will continue to order from here!

Roasted chicken, rice, rainbow carrots, green beans, pickled onions, avocado bean dip, chimichurri sauce

There are a lot of places in this area where you can get make-your-own bowls, but Little Beet stands out for me because of the high quality of the choices, the changing seasonal menu, and the generous portions. Prices are on par with similar neighborhood options, but I think you get more food here than some of those. You can choose a pre-designed bowl or make your own, which is what I usually do. The base options are rice, quinoa, greens, or another vegetable side, which offers nice flexibility, and then you pick two vegetable sides, a protein, and whatever sauces and toppings you want. I often get the roasted chicken for the protein, and lately have been really liking the green beans and the seasonal vegetables, like the rainbow carrots and the roasted beets and lentils. For sauces, I highly recommend the avocado bean dip and chimichurri sauce. Their online nutrition and allergen information is extensive, and that transparency is a huge reason why I'll keep coming back here. Every single dish is listed with all the ingredients and more allergens than they're required to identify, which is so helpful and saves time on the line because I can look all of that up in advance rather than asking while ordering. Looking forward to seeing what seasonal items turn up next!

SMOKY MAPLE CARROTS SWEET POTATOES ROASTED CHICKEN SPICY COLD NOODLES

I ordered 3 sauces to come on the side because I didn't know if I'd like them or not as I've never tried them before. They poured all 3 sauces all over the food and it tasted awful! My food was literally swimming. -this was a delivery-

Huge portions with fresh ingredients. Their cold noodle salad is to die for. Great healthy fast casual spot.

I've been to New York several times but this is my first time trying Little Beet and I wasn't disappointed with my vegetarian based dish--I typically eat meat based foods when i go out. I had the chipotle and chimichurri sauce with my meal and they were both AMAZING. I was licking what remained in each tub after I had finished my food lol. I think the sauces played a major role in satisfying my taste buds. If you're conscious about the ingredients in your food you might want to consider this place. The ingredient profile of the menu impressed me since, in my view, it contains a low number of processed ingredients (synthetic not from a natural food source). I saw mentions of fodmap and keto which signaled to me that the menu creators are tuned into the dietary desires of people who are meticulous about what they eat. This suggests to me that this business genuinely cares about customer satisfaction which I think is wise because customer satisfaction typically leads to more business! There was a lot of seating inside and the vibe was a mix of coffee shop and restaurant so I think you could pop in to eat, study, or do work if you wished to.

I had the torched fig and feta salad, which is an unusual choice for me but it just looked so good! It lived up to the expectation -- a delicious, perfectly dressed salad and who doesn't love a fig? Avocado, vegan feta, pistachios....come on! The sausage ravioli with was similarly delicious -- and spicier than expected in the most perfect way. The sauce was flavorful and rich. The house-made raviolis were just great and perfectly filled with savory vegan sausage. (I know it's assumed that everything here is vegan but I can't help but clarify. ) For desert, I had the panna cotta and my bf had the chocolate hazelnut dome. Both were so great and the staff sang happy birthday to me *in harmony*. Overall, an exquisite experience at a place that is now my go to for special occasions. Damn. Don't sleep on this place!

This sandwich is usually not something that is available vegetarian so i was curious to see the flavors and textures. The steak is chewy and meaty so if you are not a fan of faux meat then i would proceed with caution. I enjoy the cheeses here as they are unique and different from each other. The sandwich overall was okay though not my favorite sandwich ever. - smoked Mac and cheese (7/10): macaroni with smoked goat cheese, cheddar, mozzarella baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with vegan pancetta and breadcrumbs. This was a cozy appetizer especially on a cold day. The flavors of the cheese are rich and smoky with a hint of saltiness from the pancetta and breadcrumbs. I would have liked it to be a larger portion and offered as an entree. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. I liked the ambiance and the option to try dishes that are usually meat heavy but the cuisine is not my personal favorite.

The space was super clean, calm, and had a vibe that felt authentic to the cuisine. The staff was also incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fast, which made the whole experience even better. But the food is what really blew me away. I got the Korean Wild Green Tea First Picked, and it was unreal. Yes, it had that beautiful green tea character, but it was so much more layered than that--smooth, complex, almost naturally sweet, and honestly one of the most memorable teas I've had anywhere. I also ordered the iced matcha latte, and it was easily the best matcha latte I've ever had: no grittiness at all, just incredibly smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also had the baby dumplings in spicy sauce, popcorn shrimp, fried Manchurian cauliflower, spicy kimchi pancakes, Peking duck baos, and the duck rice bowl. Every single dish was excellent. I'm still baffled by how well they nailed the shrimp texture--seriously impressive. The flavors across the board were rich, creative, and satisfying without feeling heavy. If you're in Murray Hill and want a standout vegan lunch or dinner, or you're just looking for one of the best plant-based restaurants in Manhattan, Franchia is absolutely worth going out of your way for. Highly recommend.
