This is THE spot. So much so that I almost don't want to write this review but the more the merrier--right?! I typically get slices at this spot (2 for 5 on classic slices). There's a small fee for card purchases. They're really your standard slices, but definitely not poor quality. Some places you can taste this weird aftertaste to the cheese--and not at this place. If you do order slices, the chef sometimes takes them out early and I'd recommend just asking for a little longer so you're not eating a lukewarm slice. They do have an assortment of plates and sandwiches. If you do order sandwiches or whole pies, I'd recommend calling in before heading over just to shave off some wait time. Bottom line: if you're looking for unpretentious pizza at good quality and price--this is the place for you! read more

When my bf said he saw them play with pizza dough and throw it against a dirty wall!!! I didn't remember it was this place and I bought him a slice with garlic knots... I witnessed a man around 70, touching and moving the old slices on the counter with his bare dirty hands but I had already paid and was on my wait out... Well! My bf got sick as a dog after and projectile vomited at the gym... he had only eaten a vegetable omelette for breakfast 6 hours before which was why he opted for a slice just to eat anything before his workout... He did say it was tasty so that's why he asked me to give it 2 stars -- but the place is run down looking and no one ever uses gloves for anything! read more

I don't know how this place got 4 stars on grubhub, which is where my fiance ordered through last night. I got the baked ziti. Simple enough, right? Can't mess that up, right? Wrong...Wrong! #1 we asked AND PAID FOR extra tomato sauce. The ziti was barely pink. #2 the cheesy top layer was mediocre at best, but EVERYTHING underneath was just bland wet pasta. #3 my fiance ordered AND PAID FOR zepolles for dessert & they forgot them. Cheap and good! It's a no frills neighborhood pizza place. Don't get mushrooms (canned) or any toppings really- at $2 a pop they can add up quick. But why would you want to do that anyway, dummy? The food is really good here, and really cheap. I gave it 3 stars because both times I ordered, there was no delivery person and we had to pick up ourselves. Also, both times I ordered from there, the credit card machines were down. And I originally ordered from this place solely because they take credit cards and deliver. This pizza was delivered quickly but they gave us the wrong pizza. It was cold and the toppings were plastic-y and flavorless. The sauce was bland. I called and told them we had the wrong pizza and they said they would bring us another but they never did. I will not be ordering from here again. Update: they actually did bring us a new correct pizza an hour later and demanded the first pizza back. They got upset that we had eaten some of the first pizza (we were hungry and it took over an hour to bring us a new one) because, and I'm quoting here, they were going to sell the pizza to other people after they took it back from us. Just think about that. They wanted the pizza that had been sitting in our house for over an hour back so they could RESELL it to other people. How disgusting is that?! Its a tiny place but don't let that fool you. This is a great quick and inexpensive dinner. When they say the food will be ready in 10 mins it always is (we hate waiting and you never have to here) This place is great! It's very close to where I live I can literally walk there. Nicest staff ever! I've been coming here for the past 7 years. I took a 1.5 year hiatus and the guys still remembered my order and caught up with me. The pizza is pretty good, especially for the price. Sometimes the pizza is a bit doughy, but if u ask them to pop it back in the oven for a couple minutes, they always do. I come here a bunch and only once, the guy put my order in late..so inhad to wait an extra 5-10 min.) when I came to pick it up, he was so apologetic and gave me and my boyfriend 2 extra slices and a can of our preferred beverages (we ordered a large pie.. and it was towards the end of the night). I understand it happens, I was stoked we got free stuff! I like this kind of pizza... It's traditional queens/brooklyn pizza I've been raised on. They also offer baby pies (my staple order when I used to be single) which are PERFECT for one person. Just writing about this pizza makes me want some! Maybe tomorrow! This is MY pizzeria. So I literally just ordered from this place. I ordered a medium sized pie, half buffalo chicken, half cheese. It took just over an hour and a half to get here, and it's not hot at all. There is chicken on half of it, but it's definitely not buffalo. When I called earlier asking where my food was (they said 20 minutes, it had been an hour at this point), whoever answered the phone nonchalantly replied, "he's leaving now, it'll be there soon." No apology that he was just leaving for me a full hour later. I really hate writing bad reviews, but this was a bit ridiculous. Not to mention I ordered at 330, when there's no lunch or dinner rush.
