We got their steak/chicken combo plate & it was really good. It comes with rice, tossed greens & two choices of dressing - Italian or Ranch. It also comes with a killer teriyaki sauce for the steak. Cashier said 20 min wait but it took like 30 min. Luckily for us, we found the perfect place to sit just in time to watch the sunset (picture #2). Food wise, they gave a huge portion of rice, meat and salad. But our meat was cooked the same way (well done) even though I asked for medium. 4 stars because the steak was too "peppery" for me even if drenched with the yummy teriyaki sauce it came with. For the cost of this plate in Waikiki, it does a great job. Pepper steak done right at whatever steak doneness you want. This combined with a salad. I got the ranch dressing and chose to skip it because it tasted like a very generic ranch, homemade ranch would have hit the spot. Instead I just used the teriyaki sauce over my salad. My only issue was with a woman who appeared to be a manager that was publicly berating an older kitchen employee outside to the left of the counter. She literally was chewing this employee out for a good 15 minutes about him encroaching on the space of another co-worker. It was so unprofessional and I felt super bad for the man. Conversations with staff should never take place in the presence of the public and should be professional at a minimum! We shared a steak plate one night, then came back for our own meals the next time. They offer a 6oz Signature Steak Plate ($16.85), a Chicken Plate ($14.85), and a Steak & Chicken Combo ($19.85). Larger steak plates are available for higher prices, as well. There's limited seating and lines can get long during peak hours especially around dinner, but it moves pretty quickly and the beach-side view makes the wait worth it.
