I am not sure what happened. You may have changed vendors, but this is overcooked chicken balls and batter with shrimp in it. The picture does have some food removed. But last time I ordered chicken tenders they were actually tenders. I have previous review showing a picture of the tenders. The shrimp is just batter. I want actual shrimp lightly battered. I always forget to take pics since we order delivery or pickup. We are regulars here when in town. For several years, even prior to moving to their new location, we would always get their Original Hut Cheesesteak just as it comes. Nobody beats this cheesesteak! We travel a lot and we are always disappointed when ordering that nowhere comes close to Philly Hut's, this small little hole in the wall, in small town GA has the best! That said, lately I've been more into chicken than beef so decided to give their Chicken Hogie a shot. Oh man!! They did it again! Now when I order chicken Hogies anywhere else, nobody measures up to Philly Hut's! Idk what magic they use on their food but everything we get is the best! Order of fries? Great portions, perfectly crisp! Wings? Yep, great portions, great flavor, not skimpy and cooked right, full of flavor whether buffalo, teriyaki, lemon pepper, can't go wrong. Chicken tenders are big and juicy. Great portions on garden salads. Tots? Love em! Onion rings? Big and crispy! They hit the mark and beyond on every menu item we've tried. It's not a Marathon gas station. If you're trying to find it for the first time based on GPS, you're gonna end up at a Marathon gas station. It's just a hair up the road. Anyway, once you find it, it's a legitimately decent little spot for good grub. Tons of sandwich options, wings, and tenders cooked fresh to order. It's not spectacular by any means, you might not be itching to take grandma here the next time she's in town, but it's a surely solid option in the middle of nowhere with freshly cooked, tasty food. This is definitely what you consider a "hole-in-the-wall". Friendly customer service, my food was hot and ready even though I arrived a few minutes late. I'd gotten it work a bit early, and decided to try this gem for dinner. The drive from home would probably take 10 or so minutes on 162. Schools hah just gotten out so the horrors of driving behind school buses became my reality today. Before choosing to dine I had read some of the prior comments, and took heed to the advice. It it inside a Marathon gas station which is a bit different but unique. The"restaurant " has enough seating for a few visitors, but not to accommodate the traffic they could attract. Being in Georgia it's expected to see tons more of paraphernalia the state's rolling teams which I'm a fan of none. But the made the decor attractive enough to attractive men and women who are fans and enjoy sports. Like I mentioned before, my food was hot and ready. I ordered over the phone and the hospitality was to expected in such a rural area. I ordered the Original Philly Hut with fries. On my next visit I'm definitely going to try the onion rings, because the seasoned fries were expected, seasoning salt over hot fires. Typical! But the complaint the Philly so well. I switched the white cheese to Provolone and added onions. They don't have green bell peppers which wasn't truly missed. The sub was so creamy and savory. This place is absolute fire. It's hidden away in an old, beat up gas station with no real sign, but it is a must try for Phillies. In the past month, I've had phillies at one of the best spots in the Atlanta area and another highly reviewed place in Birmingham. This place put them all to shame. I got the Mushroom Philly with extra cheese (although it probably didn't need it), and it is the best I have had outside of the city of Philadelphia. It's worth the drive if you're not nearby. They have a nice little seating area and some pretty great sweet tea as well. read more

This a great hole in the wall restaurant. It is out in the middle of nowhere, in the back of a gas station, which makes it kind of inconvenient to get to but the food is great, greasy and finger licking good. The wings were the best part!!! The downside which is kind of a big deal, I seen the cook pick his nose in front of the store and wipe it on his apron as he was taking a smoke break.....
