3 stars because this place opens late til midnight. The price is higher and the drink is just mediocre. There are better drinks/snacks elsewhere if you are not craving at late night. I am not even going to post the photo of my drink.

Overall a 3.5 stars, the place is mostly great for the fact it opens late til midnight so there's an option available if desired and plenty of food delivery pickups. The prices even in person are around $8 - $9 so definitely on the pricier side even within Bay Area standards I would really only come with friends if you're craving something late night but as far as overall bang for buck or even satisfaction of taste it generally falls far shorter or anything that closes maybe an hour or so earlier Recently I've also been on a search for the best egg puffs and the one here was reasonably priced at $6, however, there simply was no taste, it was bland batter. Normally these egg puffs would have some flavoring like a little drizzle of condensed milk or even pandan, milk tea flavoring but nope this was as plain as it got with almost a chalky texture which was not that pleasant to say the least I may come back on occasion mostly cause it's a spot my friends would loiter around and catch up for late nights but it definitely is not high on my list. I would suggest timing your cravings for the other boba shops that close earlier just because their drinks are okay, prices are too high even in this economy, and there are better drinks/snacks elsewhere that do it better

The cutest little boba kiosk tucked away in a corner behind Japantown next to a karaoke spot--this place instantly caught my eye when I was craving something sweet. I stumbled upon it while walking by and knew I had to try it, and I'm so glad I did. I went all in with the Ice Cream Boba Egg Puff Waffle, the ultimate sweet treat: perfectly indulgent, huge in size, and absolutely satisfying. It's big enough to share with two people (or one person with an enormous sweet tooth), and at $12, it was 100% worth it. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want a fun, delicious dessert.

Located inside a karaoke spot, it's not hard to miss the boba sign right outside the store. I ordered the Mango Strawberry Sago, Mango Matcha, and Passionfruit Tea. The mango strawberry sago & the mango matcha were really good, but the passionfruit tea is bitter even though it's 75% sugar level. The service is on the slower side. I was the only one there, and it took awhile. There's no street parking, so keep that in mind.

Headed over at around 9 pm and we ordered from the kiosk outside. The boba shop is connected to a karaoke place so the vibes were pretty fun with the music playing outside when we were waiting and there was no seating area but the drinks came out soon after we ordered. Mango Strawberry Pomelo Sago - I was looking to get a fruity and light drink so I chose this one. It was mostly filled with fruit and sago with a little bit of coconut milk but was pretty refreshing. My friend got the brown sugar milk tea and liked it as well. A nice spot to get boba when in the Japantown area!

The best drink at Little Sweet is Wintermelon Milk Tea with boba, 50% sweet. I also recommend ordering online so you can pick it up without waiting. Tonight, on a Saturday night at 11 pm, I wanted something fresh and refreshing. I was honestly surprised to see that Little Sweet closes at 4 am because most boba places aren't open this late. I ordered a Creamy Strawberry Watermelon, which has salt cheese foam on top, with boba & 50% sweet. Tastes just like how it sounds!! And super refreshing and hit the spot. I chose a paper cup to be eco-friendly and I read a research article recently that plastic cups used by boba shops contain a significant amount of BPA and microplastics. My partner ordered a Mango Sago with lychee jelly, 50% sweet, but I totally forgot to tap the paper cup option for him haha. I wanted to write this review because the staff really stood out to me tonight. They were working hard and doing their best to keep up with a rush of late-night orders, and I appreciated that a lot!

The Japantown Little Sweet is a small spot intertwined with a karaoke bar (KBox Karaoke). The easiest way to order is either online for pickup, or ordering through the kiosk outside of the shop. It seemed like the staff from the karaoke bar was also running the Little Sweet in the corner of the room. I'm a fan of their White Gourd Milk Tea with 50% sweetness, which is basically a Wintermelon Milk Tea. I love the creaminess and how milky this tea is. The main downside is that the drink itself waters down relatively fast, and they charge 25 cents to get less/no ice.

first time here! a bit confusing lol bc there is a karoke room right here as well so there was a long line but it was just for karoke. you can order on the tablet by the door. got the matcha latte and honestly was pretty dang good. tasted like premium matcha!! didnt adjust anything but sweetness was just perfet (nothing too sweet) and some creamy texture with the milk which was so refreshing. drinks are a lil more on the pricer side! also got the mango sago which was like $8ish for a drink but it comes with so many things (def more of a dessert drink not a drink to just drink yk). only get it if you want like a dessert such as a milkshake lol. would def recommend this spot tho, lots of choices to chose from and tasty drinks! you can also walk around japantown after u get ur drink

avocado banana milk shake, mango strawberry sago, primavera pasta, egg puff waffle
    Samantha O.

I love that this Little Sweet is open until 4 AM. I enjoyed the avocado banana milk shake a lot, thought the mango strawberry sago was ok (could use more flavour), and the primavera pasta tasted good but wish it was a larger portion size. I personally thought the egg puff waffle was not crispy enough (rather soggy and lacked taste) but this could be because it was for delivery.

I really liked that this boba spot has Mountain tea because it's a not common to find. There's no dining area but the shopping square is nearby so you can walk and browse while you enjoy your drink!

I walked about 30 minutes and arrived too early as the store did not open until noon. I walked out to Geary Blvd. and there was a lot of construction as I explored the area. I returned with only 14 minutes left before opening. The lady opening the store was raising the blinds on the windows facing the street. She unlocked the door shortly after noon and directed me to the kiosk to order. I knew I wanted the peach oolong milk tea at 75% sweet with no ice. It had been quite windy on the walk. Because of a coconut allergy in the family I had to ask if the popular mango pomelo sago had any coconut. Unfortunately, it has coconut (milk or oil?). As soon as I heard coconut, it was a no go. I wasn't familiar with pomelo and the lady told me it was like grapefruit. I still wanted to order a mango drink and went instead with the mango smoothie also 75% sweet with less ice. The customer following me asked about alternative milks which they do have. I overheard that they have oat and almond milk. Both drinks were excellent. The milk tea was not too sweet and I appreciated the peach bits in the drink. The mango smoothie was really creamy.

I will be visiting their storefront downtown for afternoon pick-me-ups going forward. Junbi Matcha was hired to come into our office today and serve us two matcha options over our lunch break, regular green matcha and strawberry matcha (with strawberry puree). First, I tried the strawberry matcha, and it tasted amazing. It took me a while to determine if the amazing flavor was coming from the strawberry puree or the matcha, and I assumed (incorrectly) it was solely from the strawberry puree. Remember, I don't normally like matcha.... But then, I went back for seconds and asked for the regular matcha, and it blew me away. Super flavorful, but not super sweet. They had non-dairy options for both that I tried, and the sweeeeet kick of caffeine is exactly what I need to get me through the rest of my afternoon. I will definitely be walking to their location downtown to power me through the afternoons!
