Overall a 3.5 stars, the place is mostly great for the fact it opens late til midnight so there's an option available if desired and plenty of food delivery pickups. The prices even in person are around $8 - $9 so definitely on the pricier side even within Bay Area standards I would really only come with friends if you're craving something late night but as far as overall bang for buck or even satisfaction of taste it generally falls far shorter or anything that closes maybe an hour or so earlier Recently I've also been on a search for the best egg puffs and the one here was reasonably priced at $6, however, there simply was no taste, it was bland batter. Normally these egg puffs would have some flavoring like a little drizzle of condensed milk or even pandan, milk tea flavoring but nope this was as plain as it got with almost a chalky texture which was not that pleasant to say the least I may come back on occasion mostly cause it's a spot my friends would loiter around and catch up for late nights but it definitely is not high on my list. My friends and I stopped by Little Sweet after dinner to pick up an online order for their egg puff waffles. Despite being super late to pick up the waffle, the waffle was still warm and had the perfect texture: the outside was crispy while the inside was fluffy, with a mochi-like texture. We munched on the waffle over the next two-hours and the quality did not degrade. This was honestly one of the best egg waffle's I'd had in recent memory, even including the ones I had on a recent trip to Hong Kong. Bonus for the waffle being not too sweet as well. The Japantown Little Sweet is a small spot intertwined with a karaoke bar (KBox Karaoke). The easiest way to order is either online for pickup, or ordering through the kiosk outside of the shop. It seemed like the staff from the karaoke bar was also running the Little Sweet in the corner of the room. I'm a fan of their White Gourd Milk Tea with 50% sweetness, which is basically a Wintermelon Milk Tea. I love the creaminess and how milky this tea is. The main downside is that the drink itself waters down relatively fast, and they charge 25 cents to get less/no ice. read more

Little Sweet has quickly become one of my favorite boba spots in the city, and it's a plus that they have snacks. We got the passion fruit green tea and the black sugar fresh milk with boba (subbed oat milk). Both drinks were the perfect level of sweetness and the green tea taste shined through for the passion fruit drink. For the black sugar drink, I was so pleased they had an option to sub for oat milk because usually those types of drinks on menus do not have the option to sub the milk so I usually can't get them. Here, they subbed it and it tasted just as good as if it would have had regular milk! The boba was also cooked well and tasted rich. We decided to tryout this place as a last minute pit stop after picking up some furniture in the City. It was late and night and looked it up on Yelp to find the closest boba drink to cool off all that furniture lifting. This was a closest place to us opened past 8pm. It was a bit hard to find a kinda hole in the wall looking boba shop. When we parked and got there the entrance was tight with an iPad in the doorway for ordering. Their kitchen was super small and tight in the corner and saw them servicing the joint karaoke rooms down the hall with beer and snacks. It seems like they were servicing multiple types of clients going on their trying to service. Drink didn't take too long to come out with our drinks but they wouldn't adjust the ice level and we always order without ice. I was quite disappointed with the salted cheese foam as it was salty or sugary enough. It tasted like whipped cream. Not worth the $8! There is a bit of a wait for drinks and it can get a little busy with little standing room since it is connected to a karaoke bar. So parking is definitely tricky and it's easier if you have someone drop you off and pull over on the curb. We have come here a few times and have been impressed by their sago drinks. Their strawberry mango sago drink is very tasty but has a slight bitter aftertaste. The mango sago has pomelo in it which also gives it a sour taste but is nonetheless super solid. We added boba/lychee jelly/ice cream to our mango sago drinks and they gave it good extra texture since the sago is very soft. I also got a try of my friends' drinks--the honey black milk tea tasted as you'd expect, although I didn't taste longan that much. The mango sago was thick, suggesting that they used real mango, but it was a bit hard to drink. The flavor was pretty good though. We also ordered the egg puff waffle, which was as expected, though it was lukewarm/cold when we got it. Overall, it's a pretty good spot. Just know that this location is better for grabbing boba to go since there's no inside seating, and you should be okay with a bit of a wait. I was a bit disappointed that they don't seem to have their full menu at this location. I couldn't order my usual, so I went for the Thai tea and my partner got the strawberry matcha. The Thai tea (75% sweet) wasn't too sweet as far as Thai teas go, but I still would have preferred to lower the sweetness level below 75% which didn't seem to be an option online. The strawberry matcha remains a fan favorite and was comparable to the ones I've had at other locations. They also had plastic bags designed for carrying the boba which I love! Such a good idea. Horrible experience here. I ordered one mango matcha at around 9:30pm today 4/25. When I got my drink, I realized they mislabeled it as 0% sugar even though I ordered it without having any modifications. I also tasted it and it was definitely 0% sugar. I didn't want to make a big deal and it wasn't busy at the time so I kindly requested this to be replaced or fixed to full percent sugar or to have them add the sugar to my drink -- I was cool with anything. The guys working there laughed in my face and said I'd need to buy a new one, even though I clearly never requested my drink to be 0% sugar. We went back and forth on this and then they started acting like they didn't speak English and were beyond rude to me. Eventually, one of the guys ended up taking my drink all the way to the back with bare hands and gave the drink back to me so abruptly. When he gave me my drink back, he just stuck his arm out and hid behind the curtain, and was giggling to his friend. I ended up not drinking it because I honestly think they spat in my drink over something that was so easy to fix.
