Go try Binge Coffee on Valencia! Everything was good. I don't drink matcha myself, but my daughter said it's the best matcha she's ever tasted. Shown in the photos: cookie butter matcha, egg coffee, mango sticky rice matcha and salted cream foam vietnamese coffee.
Vietnamese coffee shop doing it right! The space is bright, modern minimalist aesthetic. The cookies and cream matcha is a hit! Their signature viet coffee drink is the one to get if it's your first time. Bold, smooth, and rich in the way Vietnamese coffee should be. The Vietnamese sandwich was the perfect pair for lunch. Crackly bread, well balanced fillings, cuts right through the sweetness of the drinks. Will be my go to spot!
Dare I say this is my new favorite matcha spot, and it's close to home. YAY! The parking around here isn't easy at all, but that won't stop me from coming back. Came here on a Sunday around lunch. The majority of tables inside were full, but their service was surprisingly fast and efficient. We ordered 4 drinks- banana coffee, banana matcha latte, strawberry shortcake matcha, and earl grey matcha with oat milk (my favorite!!!) We also got their popcorn chicken with fried basil, probably the best I've had in a long time. I love when the popcorn chicken has small bite size pieces and so crispy. Can't wait to go back and try new things! Highly recommend!!
So happy that there's a Binge in the city! I've been to the Berkeley location and remembered really liking it. Came here on a Saturday at around 2pm. The cafe is long and spacious with plenty of seating. It was busy and lively. There are so many great options on the menu to choose from, so it was hard to decide. I ultimately got the Kyoto Fog, which is a matcha latte with earl grey puree. Not many places offer earl grey matcha so I had to try it. The drink was really good. The matcha was strong, and the earl grey added a nice flavor. It didn't overpower the matcha. I would definitely love to come back in the future to try their coffee.
The service is self-serve, you order at a kiosk and the barista calls your name. Inside there's single seating at the coffee bar and then small tables that were all full of people working at about 1:30pm on a Friday. I got the hojicha latte with 15% sweetness which was to my liking and my friend got a matcha latte and a banh mi. The lattes were 5/5 for taste and texture; the banh mi is served on a hard French roll with pickled veggies and the meat was almost like a patty - pretty good quality for only $10 but there's better banh mi in the area if that's what you're on a mission for. I would come back for a drink on the go or with a friend. Someone came in asking to pay with cash and was told they are card-only.

We elected for the light sweet and it was the right amount of sweetness for us. The coffee was strong but not bitter which we sometimes experience with some Vietnamese coffee. The egg cream made the coffee drink really creamy, and the cream tasted a little like caramel. Really enjoyed this egg coffee and would recommend if you are a coffee drinker. We also ordered the Pistachio Matcha Latte which was fairly solid as well. The matcha flavor was pronounced, and the pistachio cream was foamy and pleasant. While we only tried these two drinks, the shop offers a very good selection of other interesting coffee and matcha drinks and flavors as well. The interior has a number of available seats but when we were there, it was packed so we elected to take our drinks to go. There is also a cool kiosk to take your picture and post on the wall. We posted ours if you can find it! One downside is parking is a little challenging in this part of the neighborhood.

I ordered the white peach matcha latte with less sugar, and it was tasty! This was a pretty well balanced drink, with the tangy sweetness of the peach pairing well with the strong matcha flavor. Despite coming here on a busy Saturday, service was very fast. My matcha latte was ready within 2-3 minutes after ordering via the kiosk at the front. I can't wait to come back to try some more matcha lattes. I'm also a big fan of egg coffee, so I'm eager to try that as well at a future time.
Solid matcha and coffee spot with yummy asian flavors. Vietnamese coffee has too much caffeine for me (unfortunately) so I've only ordered the matchas myself, but have had a sip of the egg coffee my friend ordered (delicious). Matcha flavors I've had: Blueberry Matcha (4/5- flavor is great and goes well together with the matcha. PSA I wouldn't order this if I'm on a date. The blueberry pieces get ALL over your teeth lol). Melon Melon Matcha (3/5- this one was too artificial tasting and would not re-order). Pistachio Matcha (4/5- another solid flavor combo). My friend said she tried the Mango Matcha before and we agreed that we prefer the fresh fruit flavors the best here. The only negative experience I've had here is trying the Grilled Beef Banh Mi. Didn't have much flavor and not sure what beef cut they use, but it tasted artificial.

We tried ordering online when they first opened at 9am but I guess it was too busy so couldn't do so until 9:45. I liked that the drinks were covered with parchment paper so that the cream top layer didn't cause the lid to be messy en route ! After thoroughly mixing, I could taste the smooth viet coffee but was not quite as bold as I'd like. The egg cream top was perfect though and not too sweet but I did also opt for less sweet. They didn't have the option for ice adjustment but it was not overwhelming. I was also able to try the banana cream coffee as well and it was very banana forward but could still taste the espresso slightly. The matcha drink was distinct but not overpowering Lots of interesting matcha and coffee combinations offered at Binge that I'd like to go back and try in person
Loved the Peach Matcha with oat milk (regular sweetness). It's +$0.75 for milk substitution but it's worth it. The oat milk blends seamlessly with the strong matcha flavor and peach puree, which is not too sweet and tastes delicious. Will definitely be back when I'm in SF to try their variety of matcha drinks. It's a spacious spot with a lot of seating for catching up with friends or getting work done.
I love the menu here. So many fun flavors and everything well executed - Matcha, Hojicha, and Vietnamese coffee. I had the melon melon Matcha, which comes with the most fluffy and delicious Matcha cream top. It is as advertised, with that artificial melon flavor reminiscent of a Melona - so nostalgic and I did enjoy it. I think their seasonal flavors are amazing as well. I have tried the white peach and blueberry and both had great fruit flavor and well balanced

The majority of tables inside were full, but their service was surprisingly fast and efficient. Came here on a Saturday at 12pm with my girlfriend and it was packed! There was also a pop up table selling delicious cake slices. Lining up at the kiosk to order the drinks wasn't too long. The drinks probably took less than 10 minutes to make, but there wasn't any seating. They have so many drinks to choose from! So many fun flavors. I ordered the Pandan Matcha, Melon Matcha, and Pandan Milk. I loved each drink so much, but my favorite was the Melon Matcha because its flavor reminded me of the Korean melon milk boxes. Valencia is one those places with lots of restaurants . There are lots of international flavors and vibes going and there are also lots of places to eat. When you are at Valencia you can get anything from sushi to Italian grilled seabass with lemon to cheesy nachos. You can also get butter chicken and also the first Mission Style burrito in the world all on one block. The Valencia I speak of is not in Spain which is the motherland and the next possible World Cup Champs of 2026. It is Valencia street in SF. When you need a drink on a sunny day Valencia street is the place wheter it's at Blondies or a Margaritas at Puerto Alegre or a Pisco Sour like some in SF at Limon ( Lemon in English) .If you need to binge drink there is a spot in Valencia ( Not in Spain) which has a variety of different drinks and it's called Binge Coffee House. On a Mission District stroll in my old stomping grounds on Valencia street I needed a drink so I landed at Binge Coffee House. There is a new place for matcha for Don Juan de la matcha. At first there is Stonemill Matcha across the street but I thought myself I give Binge Coffee House a whirl. I am glad gave Binge Coffee House try because the butter cookie matcha I tried was so smooth and tasty and a little sweet. To my surprise they where a Vietnamese Coffee shop and they had so many good drinks and food on the menu. They had lemongrass tofu banh mi and boba tea. The layout is becoming a hybrid workspace where you can enjoy real good matcha. Plan a visit to Valencia ( not in Spain) street in Mission District. One on block on Valencia street in SF you can get sushi and curry which is "Japanese "and get buns also known as bao at Bao which is "Chinese"and you can also get the first Mission Style Burrito in the world with rice , meat, guacamole, bean, sour cream and "cheese" and across the street get a Lemon grass tofu Banh Mi which is "Vietnamese" Just because it "contain" a bit of matcha does not mean it has flavor and they are simple and "plain" and some don't even wake up the "brain "the matcha at Binge has different flavors for Don Juan de la matcha on Valencia street in SF not located in the country of "Spain" read more
I think this is my favorite matcha latte in the city! Absolutely love the double matcha; it's balanced, good matcha flavor without the bitterness/grassiness, not overly sweet. The matcha cream topping is yummy as well. Haven't tried their Viet coffee but I'm excited to go back. Everything looks amazing. Tough to find parking. Got the binge house coffee and popcorn chicken! Coffee had the right bitterness and cream on top was good. Ate the popcorn chicken too fast but it was good and super crunchy! Their popcorn chicken is shaped more on the long and thinner side. Service is kind and quick. Place gets packed but quick to get a table. Love the free small Photo Booth. read more
Omg I love Binge Coffee House for studying and doing work, with reliable wifi and outlets! Such a hip place with younger folks doing work, chatting, studying, and using the polaroid machine thingy to take pics. The white peach matcha was on the sweeter side for me (just a preference for my tastebuds, personally), but it was otherwise a smooth and refreshing drink on a warm August day! The wifi is suuuuper solid and speedy (even with lots of people in store), and ~game-changing~ there are OUTLETS by the cushion seating on the left side as you walk in. 2 ordering booths plus the cashier, so ordering goes quickly and got my food/drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Plenty of seating with wifi - I think it'd be a nice place to do some work if needed! I got the pork charsiu sandwich - big portions, customizable (I can't eat cilantro ), which was nice! The cookie butter matcha was alright - not the best specialty matcha I've ever had, but not bad either. I'd come back to try their espresso drinks! read more

Ordered on door dash the Iced matcha latte and Banana coffee and they did not disappoint! The matcha wasn't too sweet and did not taste too earthy- it was just right. My favorite was the banana coffee. It had small pieces of banana in it and the banana flavor wasn't overpowering or artificial. I think this may be my new spot. read more
So glad there's a Binge in the city now! Have tried their coffee out in Berkeley and would recommend that too. This one is located pretty conveniently in the Mission - on a street with plenty of other restaurants. The vibe is great (new, as of writing this review), with lots of tables and chairs and countertop space and two bathrooms at the back that you need a code for. There are also outlets and free wifi for working, although it does get loud. It's self order primarily, but you can also order at the counter. I came at a time when it was a little less busy, so the drinks came out quickly but I'm sure it's still reasonable even when it's more busy. The drinks themselves - I really liked the matcha. I got the cookie butter and my friend got the black sesame - great flavor, would say get 50% or less sugar if you like less sweet. Overall: 5/5 read more

A Berkeley fav, Binge Coffee House serves Cà phê sữa đá, matcha, trendy Viet drinks and bánh mì....which is not prevalent in The Mission. They soft opened today taking over Raw Sugar Factory. Contactless ordering via two kiosks or Snackpass. Drinks come in one size and you can adjust the sweetness (normal or less). Dairy alternatives: oat, almond, or lactose free are 75 cents. D R I N K * Blueberry Matcha Latte w/ oat milk, less sweet ($8) Vibrant green color and strong earthy flavor, creamy with a natural sweet tartness from the blueberry purée. Love that they use nugget ice. Consistent with their Berkeley location, it's one of the few places where you don't have to add an extra shot of matcha to actually taste it. S E R V I C E Fast. A M B I A N C E Casual and bright with plenty of seating. There's a cute photo booth and free WiFi. P A R K I N G Street parking is a nightmare. BART is one block away. My group and I got 5 drinks including 4 matchas (pandan, strawberry shortcake, mango, double) and a mango tea. Service was super fast and the place is decorated with a cute aesthetic. The staff work quickly, but still remain very friendly. It's nice to see Vietnamese-owned matcha spot open up on this side of the Bay. Our matchas were good! Only critique is sweetness. Drinks tend to run fairly sweet, so I would recommend getting less sweet or at least 75% sweetness and below. Its a good spot for a reliable matcha, but better if you enjoy flavored matcha. The matcha itself isn't particularly strong, but it isn't grainy and still comes through enough in flavor. The pandan waffle wasn't too sweet and comes fresh w/ coconut. The owner was nice enough to offer us a free waffle on the house which was super sweet! It definitely feels like a community space, and that's something we always need more of. read more

So glad there's now binge coffee house in San Francisco too! Went for the first time in Berkeley a while back and was impressed by the pistachio Matcha latte. This time I walked in and it was packed inside. There are plenty of seats, but it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered at the kiosk and got egg coffee and banana Matcha latte, both less sweet. Both drinks were absolutely delicious. The egg coffee was perfect sweetness and had a delicious creamy egg layer that mixed well with the coffee taste. The banana Matcha latte is one of the best that I've had: not too overbearing with the banana flavor, but still creamy and mixed well with the matcha. The service was very fast and I look forward to coming back again soon! read more
Totally happened upon Binge while we were driving around the city. D2 actually sent us a TT about it, we parked right in front on accident... so I guess it was meant to be. We had been to the one in Berkeley and it was good, but this is closer and the space is actually bigger. Upon walking in, there are easy peasy kiosks for ordering to the right. A few steps more and there is the cute free "Photo Booth". The space is nice and big. Plenty of seats and tables, there were actually people already using the space for studying/ working. I can see sitting there awhile as they have drinks and things to eat for order. D1 ordered the matcha coffee and I had the Vietnamese coffee with egg pudding. Yum and yum, the coffee is so smooth. BLACK SESAME COFFEE. BLACK SESAME COFFEE. BLACK SESAME COFFEE. I've been thinking about this drink for the past couple of days, nonstop. Dropped by Friday after lunch for a quick pick me up. The black sesame coffee did not disappoint. The black sesame was nutty and was not overshadowed nor overpowering to coffee. Neither did the White Peach Matcha, which had peach puree and a strong matcha base that paired perfectly with each other. Service was great and quick, especially for a place that is packed and serving up drinks and snacks. There was a mini photo booth next to the ordering station, which provided a great mini activity while waiting for your order, and a cute takeaway souvenir! Tip: Ordering ahead on SnackPass before arriving might decrease the wait time! Despite being in their soft opening phase, this location is crushing it! Glad to see this place bustling with people catching up over a coffee run, grinding out some work, or just stopping by for a bahn mi and popcorn chicken. We went on a Sunday + Father's Day ~3pm -chill vibes, plenty of seats! -free cute photobooth!! - Banh mi was soft, they gave a good amount of food inside the sandwich. I'm super picky about my banh mi, but it was overall good. I got the sac biet and my husband got grilled beef :) -matcha and coffee were yummy and strong! They're in soft opening mode, but the service/vibes/drinks are already 10/10!! I have gone twice in the last week and tried their ube vietnamese coffee and ube matcha. I ordered everything regular as a litmus! The Ube foam itself is delicious and complements the coffee/matcha really well. As with any foam top drink, you really do have to mix the top in to get the full flavor profile or let it very slowly diffuse. The vietnamese coffee is SO good, truly well done and exactly what I wanted. I would get this exactly as is and try the other flavor options too. The matcha was a little too sweet for me at regular sweetness, but I liked that I could taste the matcha itself regardless. I would probably get a little less sweet for this next time, but drink itself was yum. Brownie points for the tiny nugget ice, something about it just made the drink better. There's also a really cute photo booth station right by the ordering kiosk which prints out black/white pictures! Love this personalized addition :) Lots of seating, free wifi, and very fast service. Came for their soft opening today and it's a great location to have here in the mission. I have heard about Binge in the east bay but never have been able to venture out. Super happy with the customer service. There were many workers and they asked if we needed recommendations or if we had any feedback for them! They were super attentive and willing to come up to the customers to ask about their experience. I think that this place will definitely get busier as more traction happens. We ordered the banana matcha latte and double matcha latte. Both had the sweet foam and both drinks were very well balanced. The matcha was strong and mixed with the sweet foam allows it to be both sweet and savory. The banana matcha latte definitely was one of my favorites. I also decided to pick up two of the banh mi cha lua (Vietnamese pork roll sandwich with pate and pickled veggies). I honestly was so surprised about how much pate they gave! Usually for this price point ($10-$11) you don't get much pate. I love the banh mi and would go back for more to try other sandwiches and drinks! I really like their white peach matcha. The puree tastes just like a juicy white peach, not artificial tasting at all. There's plenty of space inside and lots of groups hanging out or studying and working. They also have a receipt photo booth near the entrance and you can take pics while you wait for your drink. Now that I've tried their matcha, I want to come back and try their Vietnamese coffee! read more
