Maybe provide on request only, so as not to waste?

All the employees are professional, they seemed happy to work there. From my seat I could see through he door window to the kitchen and the chef seemed to be smiling also. Like the cloth napkins, quiet atmosphere. They deserve more business. The hash browns were made exactly as ordered. Their brand of coffee has changed, the previous brand was a better, richer roast. More ecological and money saving would be to serve ketchup only when requested, instead of providing a container that needs washing. Overall, more locals need to know what a good place this is.

Went here with my parents and I really enjoyed it! I got the avocado toast with eggs and the eggs were really yummy. I also got a side of potatoes and they were cooked very well. Service was great and it wasn't as busy which was nice :) I will definitely be back!

Good service and there's WiFi. I had the avo bacon omelette with egg whites. Jury is still out on how I feel about it-- mainly because the bacon was a bit over powering and the omelette was greasy. I also had a green tea, which was pleasant. Love the look of the restaurant and the bar. Not sure if I'd come back but happy I tried it. They also have a TV at the bar playing sports which I appreciate.

The service was great. We had a really nice waiter that morning. I wish I could recommend his name if I had only remembered. He was very honest, kind, and very considerate. The ambiance is so cozy! So cute! I would love to come here again. :) The lattes were so soothing and yummy. The french toast was great too. Only downside was the Santa Barbara Breakfast Wrap. It was good, had great nutrition and was yummy, but was very greasy/oily. It honestly felt like we were eating a soup burrito. But other than that, I would love to come back if I ever visit Santa Barbara again :)

Two Eggs Combo: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, hash browns, and wheat toast.

The only negatives keeping me from giving Live Oak Cafe a perfect 5 rating, were my lukewarm orange juice and my wife's cold wheat toast. Live Oak is a part of the Best Western Plus, where we had spent the night. For breakfast it was the obvious choice after checkout. Very friendly and helpful staff. My wife ordered her favorite breakfast choice when dining out, the vegetable omelet. With sides of hash browns and wheat toast. And only a complaint of her toast being cold. I had the two egg combo, which included my choice of turkey sausage patties and wheat toast. As well as a side of hash browns. All very much done to my liking! Clean and inviting interior and outdoors, they even have their own aviary. Highly recommended when in the Santa Barbara area.

Food was wonderful, small place but nice. Service was good very Good loved the drink and my burger was spot on!! After driving for 6hrs it all hit the spot. We stay at the hotel as well and love that it's right on property and not a far walk. They also have a rewards program so you can get discounts Signed up just today and already have #130 points.

Stopped by here to enjoy brunch on our way up the coast. Spacious cafe associated with a hotel that also has an aviary of tiny birds attached. Decent parking, comfortable booth seating, clean bathrooms. Friendly, attentive service, We ordered the West Coast omelette, Live Oak Eggs Benedict, BLT, and Steel cut oatmeal. Our order came out piping hot 30 min later. First of all the hash browns were actually brown and crispy and everyone said their meals were 8 to 9/10 for flavor. Prices reasonable for restaurants in Santa Barbara.

We had ordered our breakfast from this cafe for room service when we stayed at the Best Western Plus hotel. We had the live oak bendedict and pacific rim bacon fried rice. Our daughter had the steel cut oatmeal with berries. The fried rice was my favorite. It was delicious and flavorful! We also ordered a salted caramel latte and a honey oatmilk latte which were both good as well. We would probably try to eat at the actual cafe on our next visit in Santa Barbara.

I stayed at the adjoining hotel and came here for happy hour / dinner. I sat at the bar with a local couple who were quite chatty and funny. The waitress was not only engaging and accommodating, but genuinely made the evening more enjoyable with her perfect blend of wittiness, professionalism and gregariousness. Also, I found a new favorite beer! They carry a top shelf lager from North Coast Brewing called " Acme" that was clean and crisp! I eventually decided to have dinner and ordered the local halibut blackened with carrots and broccoli and brown rice. Who says healthy can't be scrumptious . The next morning I brought my gf for breakfast at the Live Oak Cafe since dinner was such a hit ! I had the eggs Benedict with a cup of fresh fruit. Their house- made maple espresso bacon & that creamy hollandaise sauce made for a memorable meal. Even the coffee and fresh fruit were exquisite! I'm looking forward to returning soon.

French toast combo, eggs Benedict, west coast omelette, pancake combo, and matcha lattes

Live oak cafe is a very good place to eat! Its location is great, being right next to an aviary. Parking was a little difficult even though we got there at 8am but when we arrived, we were seated there very quickly. It did take a while for the food and drinks to come out after we ordered them. We ordered the pancake combo, French toast combo, eggs Benedict, and west coast omelette. The savory portions of the combos left a little to be desired in terms of size but overall everything was very delicious. We also ordered matcha lattes and horchata lattes. The lattes were not very sweet and all came with oat milk at an extra cost, I ordered spam at first and they brought me sausage. But the waiter came back and brought me my correct order promptly. Overall, good experience. I would probably stop by again if I was in the area and needed a bite to eat

You can get new tires next door, but while you're waiting, you can catch breakfast or lunch. Outdoors, there's a lot of seating. Wooden tables and wicker chairs. Awnings and large umbrella coverings. You pay first, and then they seat you. There's some seating indoors, but it's limited, compared to outdoors. I ordered a latte ($5.50) and avocado toast ($16). They add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. There is a window for to-go orders, but if you're dining in, you place your order with the gal at the podium. I have to say, although there were two staff working on drinks, my latte took a while. Luckily, it came before the food. There was a staff member waiting at the counter and delivering just drinks. Once I got my latte, it tasted good. Strong. I felt the caffeine. The avocado toast was good, too. It was served in a shallow metal dish. Thick, high quality, Artisan bread. I enjoyed the toasted pumpkin seeds. I would definitely order it again, but open to ordering something else on the menu next time. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There was another gentleman standing in the back, immediately clearing tables. It's better if you come earlier on the weekends. There was a line of people when I was leaving. There's plenty of free street parking. I parked across the street.

Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce - Light, buttery flaky crust, light, fluffy eggs. Absolutely delightful, leeks provided good texture. Came with a strip of bacon. Was so amazing hardly ate the sauce. Don't think you can sub salad for fries but no worries, as the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Many places offer breakfast potatoes but something seemingly simple is actually hard to make well. My friend's Bratwurst Sausage with Eggs, her favorite, was hearty and filling. A lot of indoor seating but we enjoyed our table outside, watching pedestrians on State St. and enjoying the beautiful scenery and architecture. We expected to wait to be seated but surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Order at counter and the food is brought to your table. As we waited, employee kindly gave us two free pastry samples, both delicious. All the baked goods I got to go I want again. Their scones are fabulous-slightly crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Their tea service which comes with champagne is pricey, I believe $75 per person. But interior is a perfect colorful and relaxed setting for tea. My tastebuds dream of coming back. Will be thrilled when I next indulge on their pastries and quiche.

There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.
