After our lease ran out on our BMW x5e40 we switched over to a new lease on the Q7. We wound up shipping the car from Audi Beverley Hills since we got a good deal there. The Livermore Audi dealership is probably the closest to us for service. After COVID19 hit, we pretty much worked from home and just needed one car. Although we put very little miles on the Q7, we still need to do 1-year service check and recently a repair due to a recall. I experienced very good service at this repair shop, and generally the place is clean and staff here are good with masks. The dealership offers bottled water and has a coffee/espresso machine. They also wash your car and send you a video showing your car inspection when the job is done! One area of improvement for them is to offer free wifi and maybe some snacks like other dealerships do. In terms of surrounding areas, there's a Kohl's and Walmart within walking distance. Closest food options by foot are Popeye's, Baja Fresh, and In and Out! read more

Came in for a battery for my S4 and their price was comparable to the best battery advanced auto offered. In addition the service was great the gentleman who spoke to me on the phone asked me if I was coming in for the battery and said he had set it aside for me so it was ready to go. I will give 0 star rating to Audi Livermore if possible. I bought my 2023 Audi Q5 about 2 years ago in Audi Livermore from sales assistant Edward Green. Recently I had tire pressure issues and went to America's tire for tire replacement. When the technician tried to replace the tires, they found I have tire lock for my tires, but there is no wheel lock key in my car. I had never changed my tires since I purchased the car from Audi Livermore and believe Audi Livermore missed the wheel lock key when I bought the car. As I currently live in Fremont, I reached out to Audi Fremont to see if they can give me a wheel lock key so I can replace my tires. Audi Fremont said I have to either remove or replace the current wheel lock in my car, which would cost around $250 dollars. Then, I reached out to Audi Livermore customer service, told the story to service assistant, Nancy F. who insisted the wheel lock key comes with the car and implied Audi Livermore does not have any responsibility in my case. If I want to resolve my issue, she would give me a quote for the wheel lock replacement and I have to pay for the service. I asked to talk to her supervisor, Johnny Cheng, who called me back and replied that the wheel lock key could get missing if I got tire rotation service in Audi Fremont where I had all my car service. Then I reached out to Audi Fremont again to pull out all my service history. From the history and according to Audi Fremont service assistant, I did not get any tire rotation service(would only be performed per customer request) in Audi Fremont before, which means the wheel lock key was missing when I got the car from Audi Livermore. I reached out to Johnny again ask if Audi Livermore can give reimbursement if I remove the wheel lock in Audi Fremont, because my tires keep on having issues and I cannot go to Livermore recently. Johnny relied they cannot reimburse the service fee unless I go to Audi Livermore. Finally, I did my wheel lock key remove service in Audi Fremont the next day and paid more than $200 dollars. Also, FYI, when I purchased my 2023 Audi Q5, there was no technician helped to check if everything was ok with my car before it was delivered. When I almost drove my car back home, I realized the engine checking light was on in the dashboard. So I had to made another appointment with Audi Livermore to fix the engine check light. I do not recommend Audi Livermore as there are a lot other better options around the bay area. From my experience, after-sale service people in Audi Livermore are not responsible but just focusing on selling cars and services. read more

When I bought my Audi, I bought the service package which covers all the maintenance for the first 4 years. This was my first and probably last time taking it here. Let's start off with the appointment booking, cool I was doing everything online. But I had some requests for things to look at that where not on the cookie cutter form, so I emailed them.....never received a response after several attempts. So I had to call them... besides that here are the reasons for such a low review: -since this was in the middle of Covid they requested everyone to stay In their cars when dropping off the car for service....they skipped me 3 times because they couldn't see me in the car because of tinted windows. -I did not realize this one until a week later, they did t rotate my tires, which was part of the service because they are aftermarket. Like WTF? -they didn't wash the car (every time I have brought my car in they have washed it at other dealerships) -loaner car was base model and not same trim package as my car The part that bugs me the most is the tire rotation, since this is a service which was paid for and they come up with a lame excuse and not even mention it you TLDR: I expected more based on my past Audi experiences and was left feeling taken advantage of. Was lied to over the phone about cost of diagnosis, had my information lost (after repeating 3 different times) and after confirming my appointment slot was told I didn't have one upon showing up. Then was charged a tremendous amount for a diagnosis to be charged thousands to look more "in depth". Very unprofessional and uncourteous service staff. Went to pickup my car after 2 hours of receiving call that car is ready for recall fix. I have to wait half hour for my car to come out. Guy said they are very busy and there were 2 other cars that were worked on and were blocking my car to be moved. I won't go there again. I only go here because it's the only dealer within a 20 mile radius. The service advisors were better when Javier was there but now meh. The 1st time I went I came out with a scratched hood. 2nd time is a scratched steering wheel. I've gone before and specifically asked for no more scratches. And guess what..no new scratches. I guess they do what you ask. Went in on Monday (7/29) for an issue and came back with a chipped and cracked windshield. Of course they will say "customers usually don't notice before hand until we clean the cars". A chip and crack is a bit hard to miss concidering its a giant line on your windshield. She did a great job giving me all the details about the car, its history etc. Trisha was a pleasure to deal with and also had extra knowledge of the off-lease cars since she also handled all the leases. Livermore Audi replaced a battery for my wife's Q7 under warranty, they Left the seat loose so it was rocking and rattling... after a few months later we came back (today) and had a oil change and requested that they look at the seat being loose, after my wife picked up the car it wasn't fixed and there excuse she "sits to far up and it's normal" like REALLY WTF!!!! Wow I should give them 1 or zero star, but the supervisor is friendly and kind (Johnny)has done a lot for me w my car while at service/warranty issues and believe me there is a lot of problems. All my friends and colleagues had complained about them also in the past too, they've gotten really bad recently, always trying to not cover something that obviously should be covered. First of all, I had to wait 4 weeks to get an appointment here. Few months back, My car started giving grinding noise every time I apply brake, so called them for an appointment, but they were giving appointment only after 4 weeks, I tried to explain the situation but he didn't seems to care. So I took my car to an European car service, the service technician told me if I had been driving this car for more few more days, I would have met an accident. But because I got an extended prepaid service here, I had to go here again today. this was the fourth time I went to this service center and probably the last time but every time i go there I had to remind them that I got an extended prepaid service as were trying to charge me every time. For the first two service they put me on rental car, third service I had to ask for the rental car, but for the fourth service now, she (Nancy) said, they no longer provide courtesy car but at the same time, she was providing the courtesy car to another customer. If you want a better service, go to some other dealer or go to some European car service centers. Went to order a replacement Valet key for my 2001 Allroad. Was quoted 119 dollars over the phone. Went following day with proper documentation. The parts guy takes my info , goes to the back and reappears 15 minutes later with a bill for 190.75 ? Oh wait, before that, not only the parts guy tells me it needs to be programming at additional charge. Not true, the valet is self learning , the PARTS LADY was trying the same thing. I make it home to discover that They ordered the wrong one . It's now 4:42 pm , no answer. Leave message for parts ext 3018. I call back this morning and was told that the order was placed. Let me start by saying everyone is perfectly polite at Audi so that is not the concern. I brought our Audi in for a service that included an oil change and inspection. I mentioned that there were nicks on the sidewall of the tire and explained that the car is driven by a new driver, safety is important, etc. After noting that I was concerned about the tires but hadn't checked the tread myself, I asked that the mechanics who were going to put the car on the lift to check (low carriage sportscar). My husband ended up picking up the car- there were no concerns brought to his attention so he paid and left. I took the car on a business trip 4 hours away. It was raining and I was hydroplaning and definitely had a white knuckled drive until I was on dry pavement. Hopped in the car for the night time drive home and the check tires light goes on. I swerved off the exit that was right there to check the air pressure at the gas station. The tire would not hold air and since I was in a remote area, I had to call AAA to be flat bedded to the nearest tire shop 30 miles away. I sat for hours waiting in a shady location before I checked into a hotel to have new tires put on my slick tires. The tire was worn so badly that you could see the materials under the rubber. Wondering why no one mentioned this to me at Audi, I called the service manager after I cooled off -he called me right back. After explaining the car should NEVER have left the dealership because it was extremely unsafe, he tried to convince me that my husband was informed of the very significant issue. Giving Audi the benefit of the doubt (aware that my guy doesn't always listen) I spoke to my husband who stated that he would never have had me take the car on the trip had he been informed. I left a message for the dealership general manager but never heard back. I wanted the service department encouraged to communicate big safety issues to a driver before they got into the car and also felt that the service manager should not suggest that to have suggested that the car not leave the dealership in that condition made them liable in the event of an accident. I'm very fortunate that I did not crash the car and am reasonably certain that if I had gotten injured that they would have been liable it least in part. I am not bringing the car to that dealership again- and when I do purchase my next Audi will look elsewhere. read more

She and I both agree that Steve made our visit to Livermore Audi successful and positive. We were done an hour early and for less than the original estimate. I started coming to Livermore Audi in 2012 to get service done on my A4 Avant at the time. I remember Johnny greeting me and going above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of on the avant. Then in 2014, I decided to switch to an S7 and got a damn good deal from Larry of their sales team. They took care of my every need, threw in some extras and made sure I was happy. I've been to other Audi dealerships around the Bay Area to pick up extra oil sometimes and no one ever gives me the time of day. Never the case with the guys at Livermore and which is why they will continue to my have my business. Amazing and friendly staff - sales guys like Larry that aren't pushy, parts guys like Carlos who will help you get whatever you need, Johnny and his amazing service dept. and techs like Rath that make sure your car is running like it should. I serviced my car here for the 15k maintenance. I think they put less oil, and when I went to a long trip my car said I'm running low on oil. I had nowhere to stop and no phone reception. Was in the middle of nowhere. Engine blew and I had to tow the car and was lucky that a truck came by and Helped us, otherwise me and my wife would have been in a very life threatening situation. I do not trust this service anymore. A new car should not have an engine problem. They fixed the car for a good price, but when it was in service the car got a scratch on the bumper and had to be repainted. They did it of course .. but the trouble and time. read more

Hate to write this review, but have no choice. My Audi S5 Convertible has a defective transmission. This was identified years ago, yet the dealership denied there was a problem. Recently had the car back at the Livermore dealership, (a tune-up that cost $2700.00!! Discounted) and they finally admitted that the transmission was defective and potentially dangerous. But now that it was "out of warranty" the cost to repair/replace would be $20,000!!! Tried to work with them and AUDI USA Corp, but they essentially told me to pound sand. So you have a "franchise" dealership and a major German manufacturer...neither of which stands behind or supports their automobiles. No wonder they rank near the bottom in Quality compared to other manufactures. Unless you want to pay $$$$ big dollars up front, then get terrible overpriced service, YOU SHOULD AVOID AUDI AND THE LIVERMORE DEALERSHIP LIKE THE PLAGUE, based on my terrible experience. Just found out there was a Nat'l Class Action Lawsuit specifically regarding this faulty transmission, so validates my complaint. Shame on Audi and to bad for the Livermore Dealership. Go Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, but avoid Audi .....is my advice. And this from a person who has owned and driven Porche, VW, and Audi's for 40+ years!! Of course this is franchise, and apparently Audi is not really care about their customers much, and I think dealerships like this one really like to get and advantage from this. Audi's loaner/courtesy car policy is basically - it's up to dealership, and they seems to like to use enterprise for such cases, instead of providing an Audi car. Basically, there were some weird issues with the car - MMI unit stopped working as expected (you couldn't connect phone, listen to music, control volume, backup camera didn't work, etc.), we got car to service, asked to check it, they said they don't have a courtesy car now (and for some reason they really don't like "loaner car" term), we said - okay, since it's not critical - you still can drive the car, we made an appointment. We brought car back on scheduled date, and they gave us a Dodge Ram from Enterprise as a courtesy car (we've brought A5 for service)! That's one part of the problem - you're buying Audi not just because it looks nice on lot, you expect Audi quality of service at least... another part - I went back, returned Dodge Ram, and we agreed once they get a Audi car, they will give me a call, will pick up my car (from my location), and will leave Audi courtesy car while they're investigation/fixing my car - sound good? Yes, but as expected - no one called me back (and it was 3 weeks), and once I called them they started their old story - "let's make an appointment...we couldn't guarantee an Audi car.. blah blah blah". We definitely don't want to have any business with this dealership. About three years ago, my youngest son and bought a used 2007 Audi A4 from Livermore Audi. It's been a great, dependable car. About a year ago , we started getting letters from AudiUSA regarding a recall, advising us to contact our dealership to make an appointment for completing the work. My wife called Livermore Audi and was told that the "factory hadn't released the required parts yet, adding that we should call back in about six months. Two letters and twelve months later, we've been told the same lie two more times. We called the Audi dealership in Concord, and were given an appointment three days latter. We called Customer Service at AudiUSA and were told that ours was the second complaint about Livermore Audi in as many days! If someone doesn't want to do the work, I'd prefer they just say so honestly. Don't do business with liars! Take your Audi business elsewhere! read more

NO STARS! I made an appointment for service a month in advance, I was told I would get a loaner Audi and that my car would be ready in a few hours. NONE of that happened. I was also told they were out of Audi's (how could you be out of Audis at 8AM on my scheduled appointment day?) Sooo... I had to get on a Shuttle to a car dealership 15 minutes away where I was given a Kia. My supposedly "quick" 8am drop off has now taken up 2 hours. By 2 o'clock (mind you that's 6 hours later) I still hadn't received a phone call so I figured I am already screwed. I finally got a phone call at 3pm that my car would not be ready as it was never even touched, but I was assured it would be ready the next day well before noon. Last thing I wanted to do on a Saturday was DRIVE all the way to Livermore to pick up my car. When I called THEM at noon (since no one had bothered to call me) I was left on hold for15 minutes and then was told that my car wouldn't be ready until maybe four. I will NEVER EVER take my car here again and neither should you. read more

Had to write about these people and their service.... I had called and made an appointment .....we were traveling from San Jose, CA to Seattle...and had a sound in the right front of the car that was concerning. Obviously wanted to get it checked out before we embarked back to Seattle after the holidays. We went in on Friday...and found that we were NOT on the schedule... Not sure what happened there, but never mind, our service administrator, Xavier just took that in stride and I explained what our concern was....he pulled the history on the car and went to get the service diagnostician. I was introduced to him and he suggested we go for a ride, so he could hear the sound. We did...and we returned to the service area. He thought it might be a wheel bearing, or perhaps a bad tire. We had just put new tires on the car about two months ago... Just want to note that this was a Friday morning about 8:30 am....there were a lot of cars in line to take in for servicing....they put our Q5 I front of the line....and the rest took care of itself. It did turn out to be a wheel bearing...a potentiously dangerous situation...car was still under warranty so we were not charged...and we were out of there after about 3.5 hours and on the road toward Seattle. The dealership shuttled us to a lunch place and we Ubered back. The service was outstanding! I cannot say enough...we thought we might be there at least overnite...if they didn't have parts; if they just couldn't get to our car.....but it did not turn out that way! Very, very professional !! We chatted with another service administrator and she said she loved working there....happy employees transfers to satisfied customers! Win- win!!! read more
