    UPDATE - Thursday, March 5 I am updating my review again because the situation with Dublin Nissan continues to escalate and I want to clearly document the timeline of events. On Tuesday March 3rd, I picked my vehicle up from the dealership after it had been in the service department for a warranty repair for a WEEK. When I picked it up, the service manager, Kenny, told me my key fob battery had been replaced "as a courtesy" and that my car had also been detailed "as a courtesy." After leaving the dealership and making a few stops, I immediately began experiencing electrical issues that I was NOT having before I dropped my vehicle off for service. My doors would not lock using the key fob or the buttons on the driver side door and my windows would not roll up automatically. I called Kenny to report the issue and was told that the car's computer "needed to calm down" and that I should call back the next morning if the problem continued. The following morning the problems were still happening and instead of a solution I was given additional explanations. I then spoke directly with the General Manager, Mark, who arranged for a loaner vehicle to be delivered to me while they picked my vehicle back up again. At this point my vehicle has now been dropped off and picked up multiple times throughout this process. When the loaner vehicle was delivered, I did not drive it after it arrived. This can be verified through my Ring camera system at my home. When I went to use the vehicle the following morning, I discovered that numerous warning lights were illuminated across the dashboard. I will be uploading a photo to this review showing the dashboard with all of the warning lights that were already on. At this point I am extremely frustrated and concerned. I feel like I am repeatedly being placed in unsafe vehicle situations. I should not be picking up my own vehicle with new electrical problems and then be provided with a loaner vehicle that also appears to have serious issues. To make matters worse, when I informed the General Manager about the condition of the loaner vehicle, the only response I received was "ok" with a thumbs up emoji (photo attached) There was no follow up, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no effort to provide a safe replacement vehicle. That response felt extremely dismissive and unprofessional given the seriousness of the situation. My vehicle has now been picked up and returned multiple times and there seems to be a new issue every time, despite the fact that I originally brought it in for a warranty repair. Because of the repeated repair attempts, the new electrical issues that appeared after service, and now being provided with a loaner vehicle showing multiple dashboard warning indicators, I am formally documenting this situation as a potential warranty failure and safety concern. At this point I no longer have confidence in the dealership's ability to properly diagnose or repair my vehicle. If this matter is not addressed immediately by the dealership owner, I will be pursuing formal remedies available to me under California Lemon Law and initiating a legal review of my case. This review serves as part of my documented record of events. This entire experience has been stressful, time consuming, and completely unacceptable. I truly wish I had never purchased my vehicle from Dublin Nissan.

    DO NOT COME HERE FOR SERVICE! IT'S A SCAM. THEY WILL ADD USELESS SERVICES + ACTUALLY BREAK YOUR CAR. Negative stars. I visited this dealership for a tie rod recall and an oil change, but my experience has left me deeply disappointed and suspicious. During my visit, Zachary from the service team suggested I get a 20k-mile brake fluid change. Initially, I agreed, but after reconsidering, I backed out within five minutes. His attitude noticeably changed after I declined. After picking up my vehicle, I started hearing a high-pitched squealing noise coming from the driver-side tire. Naturally, I was concerned. Was there an issue with my brakes? The timing felt suspicious. Right after I declined the brake service, my car develops a weird noise? Not suspicious at all. I decided to take a look and removed my wheel to check the dust shield on the rotor. The shield was in excellent condition, except for a small, deliberate indentation hidden on the bottom side of the shield. Turns out the dust shield was rubbing against the rotor when I was driving, causing a high pitch squealing sound. It just so happens that there's signs of tinkering (rust at indentation point) on my otherwise perfect dust shield. It's clear this wasn't accidental. I called the dealership to address the issue, and they informed me there would be a $280 diagnostic fee unless it was proven to be their fault. I suspect their intent was to charge me for diagnostics, claim there's an issue with my brakes, and then upsell unnecessary services. Meaning $280 + a fake brake issue. This isn't the first time I've felt scammed here. On a previous visit, I came in for a warranty fix, and Zach claimed there was an issue with my rotor, which ended up costing me $800. Now I can't help but question if that repair was even necessary. To be honest, it was most likely fake. Furthermore I was quoted $80 for a fully synthetic oil change over the phone when making the appointment. I even confirmed this multiple times with the representative. Yet, when I arrived, Zach informed me it would cost $180. I thought I had a $40 coupon so I'd just eat the cost. Turns out it was expired. I'll take blame for my expired coupon, but are we oil changing a Porsche? It's a nissan. $180 for an oil change is crazy. The pattern is clear: they push for additional services, act annoyed when you decline, and possibly tamper with your vehicle to force you into returning. This is not only unethical but dangerous. I would strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. Their practices are scummy, and their pricing is exorbitant. Save yourself the headache and find a trustworthy service center.

    Had a phenomenal experience here! Sam A made it clear that customer experience was his top priority and he proved it when connecting with my 3 yr old, my antisocial husband, and my boomer dad with no hesitation just pure joy. That's hard to do hahaha. from snacks and entertainment to just truly getting to know us genuinely and naturally we really loved our experience. He was super knowledgeable which we really appreciated and was ready to walk us through each step and truly find the car that made our hearts sing. This was a rare dealership visit that I didn't hate and that I didn't have to be there all day fighting for the right deal. we left feeling so satisfied and with our sanity still intact haha. He took us to view the beautiful property of this dealership and it's gorgeous. it was cool to get introduced to the service staff and felt like we were solidifying a relationship not just a transaction. Love the new step of showing vehicle specific feature videos before you drive off! Our car was gonna have some cool new things and a video was way easier to understand it all and we could go back later and look at it. Highly recommend Sam A if you want an enjoyable experience with a great deal. We won't be going anywhere else moving forward that's for sure. nothing like the view back home after a great day

But because of the escalating repair costs at the Dealership, I researched Precision Auto Repair and its knowledge specifically with Honda and Acura Vehicles on Yelp. I spoke to Keven over the phone, and after conferring my concerns and the necessity for a number of issues to bring my vehicle up to service, Keven stated he would write up and estimate and send it via email. Later on in the day, I received a detailed report via email of all the issues that needed to be addressed. These coincided with most of the issues on my list with a few added. Pictures and estimated costs were included with this report. After going over the repairs with Kevin, I brought in my vehicle the next day. After several days, all the work was completed, and the price was very reasonable. He called me at 3:40 pm and i called him back once i could at 4 pm and he pretty much raised his voice at me to return the car asap as another client is waiting for it first thing in the morning. Jose was friendly and professional throughout the process. Unfortunately, the quality of the actual repair work was extremely disappointing and left me with the impression that the technicians lacked the experience needed for this job. I brought my car in to have all four door lock actuators replaced--a very common failure on older Hondas. I supplied four brand-new replacement actuators that I had already verified were the correct parts and functioning properly. Because I was replacing all four at once, I was offered about a 25% discount on labor. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning. About three hours later, while I was at work nearly 30 miles away, I received a call saying the parts I provided were incorrect and didn't fit. They told me they had left the door panels off so they could show me. I rushed back to the shop, only to discover there was nothing wrong with the parts at all. It took me only a quick look to confirm they were correct, and I plugged one of the new actuators in myself to demonstrate that it worked. Looking back, this should have been my first sign to take the car elsewhere, but I assumed it was simply an honest mistake. Later that day I received another call. I was told the rear actuators had been replaced successfully, but that both front door latch assemblies had supposedly "failed" and now needed to be replaced. This immediately raised red flags because there was absolutely nothing wrong with either front door before I brought the car in. The only issue was the faulty power lock actuators. When I picked up the car, the front doors were actually in worse condition than when I dropped it off: * The driver's inside door handle no longer worked, forcing me to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. * The front passenger door would only open if I manually held the lock pin up while pulling the handle. * I was still charged the quoted $550 (after the labor discount). Once I got home, I found even more problems. One of the front door panels had a tear in the upholstery, there were black grease smudges on the fabric and window, and the window no longer rolled up smoothly, likely because the door panel hadn't been reinstalled correctly. At this point, I no longer believed the diagnosis that both door latch assemblies had somehow failed at the exact same time they were replacing the actuators. It seemed far more likely that the door mechanisms had been reassembled incorrectly and the shop blamed the issue on "broken parts" instead of acknowledging a mistake. The next day I contacted Jay at S&R Motors in Hayward. He and his master technician inspected the car and called me later that day with the actual diagnosis. There was nothing wrong with either door latch assembly. They found that components from the latch mechanism had been removed and left loose inside the door. They retrieved the missing pieces, correctly reassembled both doors, and fixed the problems. When I picked the car up the next day, everything worked exactly as it should. Both front doors opened and closed normally, the inside handles worked properly, the door panels were correctly installed, and the window rolled up and down smoothly again. The outcome speaks for itself. The "failed" door latch assemblies that I was told needed replacement never needed to be replaced at all. The issues were caused during the repair and were resolved simply by properly reassembling the doors. I'm extremely disappointed with how this repair was handled and with what I believe was a misrepresentation of the actual problem. While Jose was courteous and helpful, my experience with the shop's technicians left me with very little confidence in their workmanship. I won't be returning for future service, and I would encourage anyone considering mechanical work beyond basic maintenance to carefully evaluate whether this shop has the experience required for the job.

In October, we paid a $1,600 deposit to have a rear differential replaced, followed by a final payment of $2,804.12 on November 25th. When we picked up the vehicle last week February 11, 2026 (yes they held our vehicle for months), it was still making the exact same noise as the day it was dropped off. We immediately did a ride-along with their own mechanic, who confirmed the issue was still present. Because they were entirely unable to fix the vehicle despite being paid in full, their mechanic explicitly stated that if we took it to another shop, Old Town Auto Care would refund the cost of the repair. We took the vehicle to a second, competent shop. They completely repaired it and confirmed that the rear differential did indeed need replacement, which was the exact work Old Town Auto Care charged us over $4,400 for but utterly failed to perform. We returned to Old Town Auto Care with undeniable proof: the new invoice, the actual old part, and a letter from the second shop. Despite their blatant failure to do the job and their own mechanic's verbal promise, management is now outright refusing to issue the promised partial refund of $1,900. I have included pictures of my credit card charges from Old Town Auto Care as well as the invoice form the different competent shop who confirmed and fixed the problem as proof. They will take your money, fail to fix your car, and then refuse to make it right even when presented with hard evidence of their incompetence. Do yourself a favor and avoid Old Town Auto Care at all costs.

I ordered my tires a full day in advance and was told I would receive a call the following day when everything was ready. That call never came. I had to call the shop myself, and I was then told they would contact me the next morning. Once again, no one called, and I had to follow up myself. On the day of my appointment, I dropped my car off at 10:00 AM and was told it would be ready by 4:00 PM. I never received a call. At 5:30 PM, I called the shop and was told they didn't know which tires to replace and that they had left me a voicemail. I couldn't find a missed call or voicemail on my phone. Had they actually reached me, the work could have moved forward much sooner. I was then told my car was already on the rack and would be completed first thing the following morning. Once again, I waited for a call that never came. I eventually called the shop myself and was told they had just finished. When I asked why it wasn't completed first thing as promised, I was told they were busy. When I asked why no one had called to update me, I never received a satisfactory explanation. The manager maintained that a voicemail had been left, and we even reviewed my phone together while I was there, but I still couldn't find a missed call or voicemail. Rather than acknowledging the repeated communication failures, the conversation focused on defending that claim. The shop also declined to perform the lifetime alignment I had previously purchased because of the condition of my rear tires. If that's their policy, I respect their right to make that decision. However, that should have been communicated proactively instead of after my vehicle had already been kept overnight. I understand that delays happen and schedules change. What I cannot overlook is the repeated lack of communication. At every stage of this experience, I was the one who had to call for updates. As a returning customer, I expected better communication, more realistic timelines, and greater accountability. The manager stated that a labor discount had been applied. While I appreciated the gesture, it did not feel like it adequately addressed the repeated communication failures, missed completion times, and the inconvenience of having my vehicle overnight. I'm not leaving this review because of a delay--I'm leaving it because of the repeated lack of communication. A simple phone call at each stage would have prevented almost all of the frustration. I hope this feedback helps the business improve its communication with future customers.
