Don't be tricked into their warranty package. I have one cushion that has an issue. I just want their advice as to how to clean it, but they will not provide that. I have to wait 2 weeks for a technician to come out to look at the cushion. Ridiculous. This would be taken care of so much faster if I had just opted out of this program and took care of the issue myself. I will say I do love my couch, that is the only reason for 2 stars. My mom ordered a bed set in store for my brother. The lady that rang them up didn't even bother confirming the delivery address (which they had our old address on file). So little did we know that the furniture was going to be delivered to our old address. The delivery guys ended up going to our old address, and let us know that the address was incorrect. My mom let them know that our new address is only 2 minutes away since we live in the same neighborhood, but for some reason the delivery guy said that he has to go through his manager to confirm the address? Fine, whatever. Someone else called us back and confirmed the address, and said that the delivery guys were going to deliver it today. 3 hours later and still no bed! No one even bothered contacting us to let us know that the bed wouldn't be delivered today (mind you it's already 6:30pm and they close at 7). So finally after being on hold for AN HOUR, we finally reach someone from the delivery department. She said on the itinerary that an attempt to deliver was made at 5pm, but there was no one home/wrong address. That is a big fat lie because my dad was at home waiting since 4pm. There was no knock on the door, no doorbell, and we have a doorbell camera which showed NO ONE attempting to make a delivery. The delivery drivers literally had ONE JOB, and they couldn't do it right. Maybe since it was a Friday they felt the urge to start their weekend early? Anyways, Living Spaces sucks. This company needs to be shut down! I wish I would have read the reviews first before shopping here. The more I look into it the more unhappy customers and bad reviews I find on the internet. I purchased the Donaver II 3 Piece 163" Sectional With Left Arm Facing Chaise. It took two months to receive for we wanted a custom fabric and we were fine with that. We got the free shipping with them leaving it on the porch and us putting it together since I don't want people coming in the house with their dirty shoes on. They set up a date and three hour window time on Christmas week. They were to show up between the hours of 2:00- 5:00. They showed up at noon time. (Good thing we were home) Delivery guys were nice. When we unwrapped the couch we realized the middle sectional was different than the rest of the couch. The Donaver is to come with piping around the seat and back cushions. This middle section did not. I was told by our sales girl that if we had an issues with delivery to contact the store right away. However, she failed to tell me that they don't have a direct line to the store only the same number to Living Spaces. I called and was told a third party company would be handing my case now. ANOTHER thing they don't tell you!! They filed a claim and told me to send picture through e mail, which I did. I was called by them and told they would send a guy out to see if he could fix it. I told them its not something that can be repaired it is an issue of receiving the wrong item. He came out looked at my couch and agreed to have the correct 6 cushions sent to me.(it would take up to 7 weeks) Well, Last night I come home to a package on my porch. It looked like a huge blanket, I was confused then I realized the were cushion covers! So instead of sending me the actual couch cushions INTACT. They send covers expecting the customer to tear off the old ones to replace with these! What a total pain in the ass!! Finally they showed up with brackets and no screws! A week later they come back with screws but no brackets! I bought patio furniture. The third party delivery guy was extremely rude talking down at me-sometimes yelling and pointing. Then was being very forceful trying to make me sign the paper that I received all my items while holding one box in the back of the truck (all caught on camera with living spaces representative on phone hearing it all). Living spaces has taken no responsibility so far for this horrid experience. I'm currently having to chase the last box to be delivered. I've called several times requesting a manager. The delivery was and absolutely horrible. They ripped a corner of the couch when they were delivering it then tried saying it was just dirt. I pointed it out to them that it wasn't "just dirt" and in fact had a hole in it. They left their trash all over my floor. Including staples that my 1 year old found. All in plain sight! Trash under the couch cushions they used to set up the drill and more. When I went outside to walk the delivery men out, I noticed they messed up my plants in the front of my house! Worst delivery experience ever. To think we PAID for "white glove delivery" we definitely didn't get what we paid for. We also paid over $3,000 cash for our furniture. I wish I could give negative points for this review. In the past decade, we have purchased quite a bit of furniture from Living Spaces: two couches, dining room table and six chairs, two recliners. No complaints about any of the furniture but lots of complaints about their delivery charges and practices. On June 10, 2021, we ordered another recliner. It was unfortunately, a special order to get the color we wanted. Nowhere in the contract that we received does it say there is only a 7 day return policy on any purchase, not just special orders. We have tried repeatedly to call them to discuss our wish to return it. We have never been able to speak to a human. Recordings for hold time of 31 minutes, 35 minutes, 42 minutes were followed by one for a 51 minute hold. Ridiculous. My husband tried their chat line. He received a message he would receive a phone call within 2 minutes. After an hour , no response call. Again, ridiculous. We have also called their headquarters in La Miranda, hoping to reach a human. All we have been able to do is get more recordings of alleged hold times, the latest being for 18 minutes but after 45 minutes, I hung up. Never again will we purchase anything from this company. We are extremely frustrated by and angry at this business practice. It's shameful and we will be quite glad to share our unsatisfactory experience with anyone looking to buy furniture. It appears that Living Spaces is very good at avoiding customer service. The "response" the company posted (below) is an automated response, not a response from a manager or other human. We will research and respond to your inquiry within 7-10 business days." It has now been over 10 days and no call back. Doesn't surprise me since they have not responded when saying they would 3-4 times now. Another update: Still waiting for ANY response from this "executive team". When it comes to furniture I like to go to living spaces. When my wife and I arrived Damien and Len were very helpful, They assisted us in finding the furniture for our bedrooms and living room. We were about to spend approximately $3000. But when we were browsing for a dining table we were approached by the sales manager Aaron, who was not helpful. We asked to have a dining table added to our account but he was not able because the chairs are not in stock. So, we began to negotiate the display table and chairs for a discount due to damages on them. Aaron was not willing to negotiate a fair discount and his reasoning is "I cannot sell you those chairs because another customer may want the whole set..." WTF? I'm a customer! Who doesn't want the set at a fair price! Anyways, in my opinion, this is poor customer service, so we did not purchase anything. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY! Bought a couch and loveseat 18 months ago and purchased their extended warranty. The couches were damaged when delivered and neither the warranty or Living Spaces corporate office were willing to fix it. Went in into the store after trying through the channels I was supposed for four days and the store manager replaced the couches with the same brand/style. With in 6 months the fabric was coming apart the staples holding the frame support on the center of the couch bent so there is no support there now. The fabric failures and frame are all specifically covered in the warranty. The warranty company will no longer communicate with me, corporate will not and the stores just refers me to both. When we found these couches I was excited because they were modern and comfortable. 2 months in and I am regretting the amount of money we paid for this furniture. The fabric has a serious flaw and they tell me that the fabric is not eligible for a warranty issue. This it the most we ever spent on couches. If they look this bad after 2 months of normal sitting, what will they look like in 2 years? Went here 2 days ago and bought a bunk bed twin over full. Sales associate Tony was there to help us out with our purchase. Minor complaints about him, he could be helpful but not so informative. One..Told us our bunk bed was made in USA, when it was infact made in Vietnam. Two..Couldn't give me the top bunk weight limit when I asked (always diverts to "I've been doing this for 6years, I can tell you this is solid material right here, it will not fall apart) Dude!! Paid for next day delivery. Come the following day, delivery guys assembled the bed and whats our next problem? They brought the wrong size slat rolls for the full bed!!! Now we have to wait for the second delivery. Made phone calls. They said okay we can deliver them later this evening. 9:45 pm they show up. And they brought the wrong slats again!!! My 68 year old mother ended sleeping on the damn floor because they took our queen bed thinking she has that full bed to sleep on that night!!! How could you bring the short incorrect size slats not once, but TWICE!!!! You idiots! Come today, I call to find out where the hell are the right size slats at and when are they coming. Spoke to some snooty girl from customer service, who never apologize for the inconvenience, who place me on a hold while I was still talking, and who questioned me when I said the slats were short ( Are you sure they are short and not narrow? I said I think they are short, didn't your delivery guys report back what they delivered? and comes back with, WHY WERE YOU NOT THERE?! With an attitude. And says she will call me around noon for an update but will most likely not get it delivered til tomorrow! So if not delivered, grandma will sleep on the fuckin floor again for another night!!!! To make this clear no issues with the sales team. I've purchased over $8k of furniture from living spaces in the last 3 years and have always received good service. I purchased a matching chair, couch and ottoman about 2 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems. First off delivery guy Banged my stucco pilar and chipped a corner. They werent going to tell me and try to get away with it. Luckuly I saw them do it and have video from my Ring cameras to prove. Still waiting to hear back from them on repairs. In 2 more days will be the 10 days they requested to review my claim. Yes I provided them the footage. Second on of the pieces was stained and missing a button. I called and was offered to credit me $70 off my $1600 purchase. Told them to replace it with new piece. Then was told no longer made. Then my question was what would the warrenty I purchase do for me if I had issues down the road. Then was offered the display chair with th $70 deduction but I would have to pick it up. Customer service called me today to offer me $100 off. No thank you living spaces come get your furniture. Now they are scheduled to pick it up next week and if I don't hear back about repairing my home by Monday the 10 day my next call will be to a lawyer. read more

We got the first couch and the motor broke we used the warranty and they replaced the entire couch. Ok great 2 years later the replace couch's motor broke and we filed a claim. A repair guy came out and said that it could not be fixed and had to be replaced. Ok fine we thought they were going to replace the entire couch like before......NOPE just the two sections. Then they send us the confirmation and it has the wrong address. So I called and the representative on the phone said that they could not deliver the couch to the correct address. I said that the warranty claim was done under the correct/new address AND the repair man came to the correct/new address so why can't the new parts be sent to the right address. The guy on the phone said "that is your problem not mine." Are you freaking serious??!! Who what great costumer service!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said the supervisor will tell you the same thing I did. I still persisted to speak to a supervisor. He said ok then you will have to wait. I waited for about 5 mins then he comes back on the phone and says the supervisor will have to call me back. About 1.5 hrs later I get a call and the supervisor says she can update the address. Ok great.....so then I ask about replacing the entire couch Ana she says no. I told her then my couch is not going to match! Two pieces will be a darker blue than an the rest of the couch bc over time color fades. She said well I would have to submit another claim but chances are they would not replace the rest of the couch. So basically living spaces is ok with me have a mixed match couch!! I purchased 2 nightstands, headboard, footboard, media center and a dresser. I figured I would pay more to have quality furniture that would last me years to come. I have been very careful with cleaning these items and have not used any cleaner, just a dry microfiber cloth to dust. 10 months after our purchase I noticed the stain had flaked off of my night stand in a area of knot hole. Just got off the phone with a customer service rep as I was writng this and they tell me I should receive a call for delivery by July 20th. A whopping 16 weeks after purchase. I will NEVER buy anything from Living Spaces again...EVER. Update: Customer service is a joke. They're completely understaffed and it takes about 40 mins on hold to get someone on the phone. The first time I called they had me waiting so long my portable land phone ran out of battery. You can't call the store directly and they're no direct emails or numbers to call. You have to go through the call center. And forget about talking to the manager you'll have to go in store. I subsequently cancelled the order and got a full refund. Such a waste of my time and energy. Don't shop here unless you like wasting time and if you cancel for non delivery don't let them get away with charging a 25% fee.
