We did our due diligence in our research before contacting anybody 3. We know our financial situation and credit scores so there were no surprises 4. Carfax emailed to us by Josh the night before our appointment We located this particular car online. When we called the dealership to verify if the car was still on the lot we were told "yes". We scheduled an appointment with Josh for 9:00am the next day. Upon our arrival, the car had already been pulled up to the front and ready for us to take out and test drive. Each of us provided a photo copy of our driver's license and in return we were given one hour to take the car for a test drive. We were both thrilled to test drive without a rep in the car with us so that we could talk comfortably among-st ourselves as well as dissect the car in private. Within 45 minutes of our test drive, we knew we would be taking this car off their hands. Since the pricing was fair, negotiations were not necessary. While filling out paperwork, we were offered complimentary beverages and snacks. Several banking institutions are available to guarantee the lowest % rates. The whole car transaction was completed in less than 2 hours (45 minutes were test driving). Additional warranties were offered but not pushed when we declined them. The car was detailed and filled with gas while we were filling out our paperwork. The license will be mailed to us so that we do not have to drive all the way back to the dealership (1 hour drive for us). We stole a 2013 Acura TL Advanced package with less than 12k miles and still under factory warranty. Thank you Josh for your time and honesty. By far the most favorable car experience for us both to date.

We test drove the greenish 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe VIN KM8SG13D57U099373 listed as of this date. We…read moreliked the vehicle and drew up papers and left a deposit pending a pre-purchase inspection by our mechanic. When we went to look at it intially the dealer had the AutoCheck available, but not the Carfax which was strange since they have a big Carfax sign in the window. We also got some verbiage about how Carfax reported every little thing and wasn't necessarily accurate. I still paid for the Carfax when we got home ($40). What a surprise to learn the vehicle had been in an accident. This wasn't a dealbreaker as I still believed the "over-reporting" by Carfax the dealer told us and figured it was a fender bender. We went forward with the pre-purchase inspection ($100). My trusted AAA mechanic said the vehicle had been near-totaled and the damage hadn't been repaired very well. It was quite obvious when the mechanic showed me. I'm not sure why the dealer's mechanic didn't catch it. The car had been pulling to the right and it turns out this was due to a bent strut that hadn't been repaired. There were also some issues with the emissions equipment. The dealer showed me paperwork of what had supposedly been repaired when I noted that the vehicle had failed emissions in June, 2017. When I got home I realized what I had was an estimate, not a guarantee that the work had been done. The vehicle ran a little rough about 25% of the time so I asked the mechanic to look into it. He said it was running like it was "trying to throw codes" (in other words, emissions problems). My mechanic advised me to pass. I was cordial and polite, but told the dealer based on the pre-purchase inspection we no longer wanted the vehicle. When we returned it, the salesman (Martin) and the owner (Chuck) made all kinds of excuses about how the damage was minor and there wasn't anything wrong with it. They showed no interest in my report from the mechanic and kept insisting the vehicle was fine. I didn't say anything because I just wanted my deposit back without any hassle. Chuck remained cordial, but fast-talking Martin turned quite surly. I did receive my deposit back even though I spent $140 for nothing. I don't know how they could deny a report from AAA mechanic, or damage I could see with my own eyes. I didn't receive an apology nor was there any concern that someone could buy an unsafe money-pit. If there had been any regret or offers to fix the emissions and the strut, this would've been a different review. It could be a good car for someone with the problems fixed and full-disclosure of the accident. Honesty is worth gold, or in this case, a sale. If anyone wants the Carfax or has any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
