The place is big and gets busy if you get there later. But definitely they make their food fresh especially the bread. They also had a juice sampler smaller portion which was good. Friendly and prompt. Food came quickly. Coffee? Typical diner stuff, not for snobs. Free concha? A nice starter, not too dry, with a cinnamon dusting on top. Yes, please! Asada Chilaquiles? Above average for flavor and consistency. If you are a gringo, don't worry about ordering the "spicy" red sauce because it is not spicy...Call it "flavorful." The steak was well seasoned, but I also got a couple pieces of gristle (not fat) that were inedible. Eggs done correctly. Beans were recommended over hash browns, accordingly so. V tasty. Price? Hmmm. One person ordering chilaquiles, oj, coffee, and a side of avocado was 40 bucks (incl tip). Yes, there are many less-pricey options on the menu (they even have a "budget" menu), but this was a bit of a shocker for a diner. read more

Yesterday was my first time trying loaded café in Lawndale . I heard this place was like a Mexican Denny's so I had to take my family here we tried to bunch of different stuff and everything was delicious and tasted so good. We got the ham and cheese sandwich we got the torta and we also got the Chilaquiles everything here was perfect and the service was so fast. Omg this place is really slept on! Thankful they are open on thanksgiving day- I ordered 1. Strawberry and banana crepe, kids pancakes and a lemonade. Now I ordered through Grubhub and ask for light strawberries and chocolate chips on my daughters pancakes because she love sweets . They actuality made it as requested and this my friends is seldom seen when placing online ordered mail or even in person for that matter. Diana was our server. She was pleasant and very attentive. She provided great service. We ordered the pambazos as a starter. I'm sorry to say that the only tasty part of this dish wash the bread they are served on. The potato chunks are too big and the chorizo was flavorless, maybe because it was burnt! My youngest ordered the banana nutella crapes plate with the banana nutella shake. The crapes were good, the hash browns were cold and the bacon was so over cooked it lost is bacon flavor. My eldest child ordered the chorizo and eggs along with the churro shake. The chorizo is very bland, it lacks that typical chorizo flavor, and the rice was served at room temperature. The churro shake wasn't too sweet, not too milky. It was just right. I ordered the Asada chilaquiles in salsa verde. The chilaquiles were good, although I think they could be better. read more

Wow! Inflation is definitely evident here at this cafe. I definitely did not expect a fountain soda to approach 5 bucks. Also, the non-cash feels a bit deceiving. Why is that a charge? Had a great breakfast today at Loaded Cafe. Although it was busy, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. We were greeted with a smile. Coffee was great here. You're gonna love it. We were given two sweet conchas to start. They were warm and fresh. I enjoyed the Swedish crepes and a small side. My better half enjoyed the chorizo plate with egg and beans and a side of toast. l really love breakfast food, especially from a diner, and this place really hits the spot for me! We like getting a to-go order but they also have patio only dining right now and eventually you will be able to eat inside again :) They have a pretty big menu with anything you could want for breakfast or lunch including a lot of Mexican food in addition to the burgers & crazy good melts! But I'm all about the breakfast, my favorites are the Breakfast Combo (2 eggs over easy, hash browns & double bacon - Classic!) and French Toast. Simple yes, but a perfect meal anytime YES!!! My son is a big fan of the Pot Roast Melt which is fantastic. I've also had the breakfast burritos and omelets; everything here is great and makes really nice comfort meals :) The online ordering is simple and straight forward, especially for having such a large menu. Everything is ready to go when you arrive and packaged to be nice and hot when you get it home. The staff are very friendly, everyone is masked & gloved and everything is sparkling clean!
