Comfortable seats, high ceilings, and clean. The service varies, they get busy so the servers may not visit the table frequently and they might forget a thing or two. But never anything too crazy or upsetting. However, the food is never a problem anyway. The strawberry cheesecake waffle combo was very filling, and I shared half! One of my favorite places in Lawndale, especially for breakfast. Great food - huge selection of classics plus lots of Mexican options. Our table today had guacamole toast with an egg, lemon crepes, a fabulous veggie omelet, a spinach omelet with hollandaise and a kid's french toast breakfast. All perfect! We stopped to eat breakfast here after doing a 5K. The wait time was only 5 minutes to be seated for 4 . The service was prompt and fast. Our waitress spoke both English and Spanish. I had ordered the chilaquiles with green chili. The chili was too spicy for me. I only ate the eggs, pork meat and the refried beans.this was my second time here, after being in the hospital a year ago. The pork was a little too salty for me , since I don't really eat salt any more for my diet. They were good . I think they used Manteca ( lard) to cook the refried beans. The beans were goodness. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast. My son had the Original Breakfast. It was nice that they served us mini conchas after we ordered and before our food came. We came in hungry. The food looked delicious and some of it was. The eggs and hash browns needed seasoning. I asked for salsa for my eggs when the food was delivered and was told by the server they didn't have any. I found this strange since they have a Mexican section of the menu and some of the item descriptions say they come with salsa. Anyway, the biscuits & gravy were yummy but definitely not enough gravy. The manager checked on us and I asked him for some gravy which he brought promptly. My son said his pancakes were good too. He's picky with pancakes so if he said they're good, they must be. The server was ok. She took our order and brought the food but that's about it. She walked by the empty dish from the conchas which i placed on the end of the table with straw wrapped in it several times without taking it off the table and never checked on us until she asked if we were ready for our bill. read more
