Wow what a diamond in the rough! On a whim, we were looking for a good breakfast spot. What a great decision this was. We were greeted very warmly as soon as we walked in, and they made us feel at home the entire time. I think everything we ate here was delicious. I ordered the chorizo and eggs with rice and beans, my wife and son shared the Chilaquiles and crepes. I'm not sure, but the tortillas that they served with the chorizo and eggs, seemed homemade. The coffee was good, so was the OJ. I visit Orange County quite frequently and I can't wait to come back here. Bravo to the staff and owner! God bless! read more

Visited today Sunday 1/21 at 11:15 am. My husband and I brought my 95 year old mother . We were told 15-20 min wait. Waiting area was full. 1/2 hour later and still same people in waiting area. Nobody has been seated. No communication from servers or managers updating us on our wait time. We had seen a few customers walk out already and finally I went up to ask hostess how much longer she said about 15-20 min, on top of the 1/2 he we had already been there. No accountability today. I like this place I have been here on a few occasions. There needs to be more communication with the Mgr on duty and their customers. We were told 35 minutes. 2 hours later. . . And we kept checking in with them. I noticed a bunch of g of empty tables and asked WHY we couldn't be seated? The lame excuse was "the kitchen is backed up." Since when does a kitchen tell the front end what they can do??? They could have sat people and served Coffee & other beverages along with their free warm Concha's. Everyone I was complaining. "Just be honest with us. Let us decide if we want to stay or go!" Bad service!!! Food was ok. My husband and I were excited to try this place, but it quickly disappointed us. Our server was rude and almost 15 min after ordering our food came to let us know they were "about to" run out of French toast. She offered waffles instead. i came here to see what the hype was all about on TikTok. Very over priced meals. My friend loved the chilaquiles with asada, very good! crepes were good too. The Menudo was not good at all !!!! broth was very watered down looking with no flavor and the tripas looked brown. when we told the waiter that it did not taste very well, kind of taste like can Menudo she gave us an attitude and treated us very different after. Josefina the waitress started to avoid our table and the young male waiter came to help us. He was very nice and attentive. Decided to try loaded café for the first time since it's near or residence. Had to try to find somebody in the kitchen to get seated. We waited after we sat down. Nobody showed up with coffee, or to take our order. We walked out last time, we will go there, terrible. First time visiting 3/23/25 - Sunday. We got there 10 minutes before opening. The place inside looks worn. The server, not rude but seemed not fully awake. We had to wait for coffee to be made. Our coffee was served without concha's. I figured we just aren't getting any or we have to ask. The menu had a variety of items, however, nothing appealed to me. I ordered carne asada with chilaquiles with and over medium eggs. Had to pay .50 cent extra for each egg. The husband ordered a traditional eggs, bacon, pancake and hash browns. Something he could have ordered at our local Dennys. Did I mention we drove from Ontario? Fifteen minutes after ordering, we get two mini strawberry flavored conchas. At this point, we had finished our first cup of coffee. Needed to wait for a refill. Got the refill, took a bite of the concha. It was freshly baked and still warm. It was delicious. Our food arrived, I was disappointed in the portion of my chilaquiles platter. The carne asada was about 10 tiny almost burnt strips. I believe the price was $23.95 plus the extra dollar for two eggs. My husband's meal was mini portions as well. His pancake looked slightly burnt with crispy edges. Once we got over the visual presentation, we took our first bites. My chilaquiles were crispy and eventually softened with the little red sauce and egg yolks. Beans and carne asada were tasty. Husband raved that the pancake was really good. We finished everything. We give this place a 7/10. I forgot to mention, they have a bakery in the back called "Panecito". They had a variety of cookies and flavored conchas. Being that we got there at opening, most items were not available. read more

Service was bare minimum, dishes abruptly dropped on table by server talking to someone else, food was greasy, moderately priced, loud nerve-racking hard rock music, facility needs deep cleaning, especially servers station near kitchen where there is a sickening smell, same in unkept restroom. We got there at 10:30 am. Couldn't find the entrance. You would think it was closed. Food was ok. We ordered the menudo and the pambazo. Both items had a nice kick of spiciness. The menudo was hot and had the right ingredients. Was lacking a bit of hominy but the broth was delicious. The pambazo's lettuce was not fresh and I thought it lacked on the crema and queso fresco. For first timers (if you make them aware) they greet you with a couple of conchitas (sweet bread) to start with our coffee. Josefina was very nice and attentive. The place was not as crowded but when we left our section or booths were all filled up. I was reading into other reviews and a lot have said the service was good. Our experience was below par. First off, our server was in a hurry taking our order and not the friendliest too (I get it, it was somewhat busy). In the middle of our meal my mom asked for a refill of water. She says ok- but would just keep passing by us with no acknowledgement, not even once. We asked again and she says ok not even saying "oh sorry about that". She sent over a runner or another server and she just places a quarter full pitcher of water on the table (enough for 2 people and there were 5 of us). I asked her if she was gonna pour it for us and her response was "I mean i could. Do you want me to?" I was livid at that point and said forget it we can do it. I could not believe what I've heard! Loaded is the correct name for this place. If you have a picky family this is the place to go you get Mexican an American food at all in one menu. The service was good and the food was great. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 4 STARS !!!!!!! If I can leave a -5 star review, I would. I had the worst experience here, from rude customer service to undercooked food. I came here with my boyfriend to give this new place a try and see what it had to offer. The waiter, some guy couldn't even get his name, completely rushed me after i was asking about the crepes and another plate. I let that slide. But then I had to ask 3 times for a SINGLE REFILL. I should have known to leave after the table next to us complained a couple minutes before we got our food. Appetizer: LOADED NACHOS ARE LOADED WITH LIES The entire plate was bland, no seasoning or anything. The cheese was hard and the sour cream tasted spoiled. Entrees: Chorizo and Eggs: arrived COLD and we had to send the order back. The eggs tasted awful like boxed eggs. Pambazo : The sour cream tasted spoiled, and SOGGY as hell. a real one from EL DF would not be soggy, the sauce should be grilled with the buns , this was just a wet burrito with a horrible sauce that's not even guajillo pepper. Strawberry Cheesecake Almond Crepes Combo: Don't even try this!! They are completely dry and has no flavoring whatsoever. I couldn't even finish them after the first bite. The eggs again tasted like box eggs. Hash browns had no flavoring and super bland. The ONLY edible item was the sausage. We called the manager over about the food quality and the rude server. He apologized and tried to comp us for next time and this time. But honestly after this experience I Highly doubt they will be able to change. read more

First thing to know - should be called LOADED BILL Cafe. If you don't pay cash it is an EXTRA 4%. Not a common practice. Exchange hash browns for cottage fries, you pay EXTRA $2.19. Seriously?? Food was good, place was clean, not busy. Personally I got so bugged by their billing practices not worth a return visit for me. A new location is being built near me but I am no longer looking forward to it. read more
