After discussing my options with Technician Jesse, I agreed that it was time to upgrade my entire unit. I did like that I was given the option to purchase a cheaper unit elsewhere or through the company. Great Fast service at a reasonable price. I called around to a few locations and they were all booked up for a few days. Local was here on time the very next morning. Their installer was professional, educated me on their two different springs and even pointed out that another part had broken. Bottom line, their complete service came under quotes for just two spring replacements from the other companies and this included the $50 part that wasn't even in the quotes from the other companies. The bracket that pulls my garage door up tore off and so I contacted Local Garage Doors because I had one of their coupons. They responded and sent a repairman almost immediately...and on a Sunday...to resolve the problem. Sal was professional and put in a reinforced bracket plus calibrated the spring tension and replaced the old rusted rollers with nylon ones which made my garage door quieter when opening. I even asked him to replace the worn out weather seal. He did a beautiful job and now my garage door operates like new. So they just completed our garage door, and sadly I hate to leave negative reviews but I believe in buyer beware and if Im not honest Im not doing a service to my fellow yelp community. Like most we went on trusted yelp to find a reliable repair person for our garage door that was not opening properly. The repair guy Jeven Tylor showed up and hour and 45 minutes late to the appointment, mind you we waited for him to arrive regardless. He spoke to my husband about what he was going to replace and fix on our door equipment. He left and my husband immediately went to close the garage and ensure everything was in order and noticed he did not replace one of the main parts that he assured him WOULD be replaced. He called him back and asked about it, to which Jeven denied ever stating that even though we have cameras on our outdoor garage and actually caught his quote and exactly what he said he was going to do! Thank you age of cameras and technology. Needless to say we called Amex and are providing the proof , and they will be reversing the amount he charged, we believe in paying for actual work done but not "promised work" that clearly did not happen in our case. Im an age of Covid, we understand people need to work, but are saddened and surprised a reputable business such as this would employ dishonest people that clearly didnt think they would get caught. The business owner should take note and make an effort to resolve this issue, but since that has not happened , my review has to stand as is. I will update should we hear anything back. read more

This review is long overdue. I had my garaged service back in February 2021. The experience I had was great. My technician was Kevin Galindo. He showed up on time and immediately knew the problem. Unbeknownst to me, the garage door spring had snapped which prevented the garage from opening all the way the next morning. Once opened, I could no longer close it. After researching multiple businesses, I decided to go with Local Garage due to all the 5 star reviews on Yelp. The response was quick and they immediately dispatched a technician to come out to my home. I didnt get a chance to research other businesses on price as I was in a panic mode. My only concern was getting my garage door fixed the same day and quick. In my opinion, I do think this place is a bit pricey, but the 5 stars is really for the service that Kevin did. Kevin was knowledgeable and he educated me on the pros and cons of replacing the spring vs. getting a new door opener. He also recommended that I replace my rollers as mine were old and prone to rust. What could have been a nightmare for me, turned out to be a smooth process, all because of Kevin. read more

Excellent and honest company! They were very professional and quick with service. Really happy with their quality and care of service too. We had them replace and program two garage remotes. I asked another company to come by before finding them and they told me that replacing remote wasn't possible and I had to replace the entire unit with a new one (lied). I asked for a quote through Yelp and got a response from Tyler the owner in 15 minutes. He provided a quote as well as an onsite free quote the same day. Ben showed up in the window indicated by Tyler. I was taken aback in the beginning as he did not have any uniform or company badge etc. so I was not sure who he was. Anyway, Ben looked at the garage door and confirmed the work required and provide the quote. It turns out that Tyler's quote via Yelp did not include labor so Ben's quote was higher than Tyler's. But since it was inline with others I asked him to get the work done. SO, be careful to get a TOTAL quote via Yelp to avoid surprises. Ben started getting his equipment out of his truck and I was very unpleasantly surprised to notice that he had rested one of his ladders on the side of my car!! When I mentioned it to him, he very nonchalantly responded that it was only touching the tire!!!! WOW! NOT COOL! I hope they get better at valuing other people's property. I had a great experience with Local Garage Doors. Jeven knew what he was talking about. First of all the company that installed my garage door 5 years ago used the wrong part/arm for the type of garage door. Then a company came to give me a quote for the repair and after about 10 minutes of testing decided his solution was to replace the whole opener for $750 even though the machine was still working just not closing all the way. Jeven came in an took about 1 minute to assess the situation and his repair cost me $165! Now I have a completely closing door and didn't have to replace the opener!
