Cold brew martini

We just had the best dinner at beer co. Came in for happy hour (3-6 Mon-Fri) and ordered two orders of the mango habanero wings, cheese loaf, 1/2 nachos, southwestern taquitos, and drinks. The southwestern taquitos could've had a bit more flavor but we really enjoyed everything else! Service was fantastic- drinks were full the whole time and we never were left looking for our server. The vibes are always great at beer co!

I can't say my experience wasn't perfect. Always a nice atmosphere for a delicious meal. Really good food consistently. Enjoy

Chicken sandwich. The BEST!!

This is a beautiful brewery with incredible food and service. Our server, Kai was very attentive and so nice. My husband ordered the Chicken Sandwich and felt it was the best Chicken sandwich he had ever had. I ordered the Ahi Poki Bowl and it was incredible! My husband even ate part of it and was so impressed by how delicious it was. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Lodi. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

Steak sandwich with onion rings

Highly recommend the steak sandwich with onion rings! Delicious. Crispy. Steak is tender. This is the only reason I come here. They upcharge $4 for onion rings; not totally worth it because my onion rings were a bit soft and fell apart. Server in the bar area was great! Busy restaurant but didn't have to wait too long for the food.

Atmospheric Vibe. Amazing service from our waitress Destiny. We are moving to the area so wanted to try some local spots. The food was amazing!!! I can see this becoming a regular spot.

I used to visit this restaurant often and finally made it back today after a few years. I was so happy to find the food was as good as I remembered. It's a beautiful building, great ambience and food, spacious for large groups, good beer selection, and it's in the heart of Historic Downtown Lodi.

Friday night dinner with the fam. Lodi beer is one of those restaurants that we frequent, thanks to its menu variety. I always enjoy the industrial ambiance of this elegant beer distillery. We were promptly sat in a booth. I ordered the chicken fettuccine and paired it with one of their light beers. My wife opted for the cattlemen's wrap and our son had the 5 Napkin Burger (really juicy) with a red craft beer. Our entrees came out pretty quick. Everything was made to our expectations. The portions were generous (I actually took some of my fettuccine home). Our server Savannah was sweet and attentive. We will be back to try some of their other delicious items next time

Amazing service provided by Emma. She was so helpful in helping pick some dishes. Very accommodating and attentive Food was delicious! It's a tad loud in there, but definitely contributes to the fun environment. We'll be back soon!

Really good food! Great ambiance. We had the outside seating and the service was still fast! Highly recommend. Classic beer and food combo. Lager and a medium rare burger was on point! Inside is also great with pleasant laid back vibes. Great for parties and hangouts too. Parking super close by.

Last Friday night we had the opportunity to enjoy a meeting, libation, and meal at Lodi Beer. Here are my thoughts... I am not a "beer person" since have a few too many in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1976, getting on the wrong train and ending up out in the country, in January without a proper overcoat. But that is a story for another time. When I arrived at the place, I found the staff to be exceptionally perceptive and helpful. Fortunately they have a full bar so I was able to find something to my liking (rum and Coke tall) which went down well after the hot day we all had. I ordered a Cajun burger with a side salad. Both were scrumptious, and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I noticed that the staff did not offer waters which would have been good, since I said it was hot that day. The ambiance as appropriately beer house, so it was a bit noisy for a meeting. I quickly learned that the secret was to vote "yes" on all motions, take a sip and keep smiling. Glad I wasn't the secretary trying to take down minutes. I can't speak to the quality of the brew, not having tried it (it appeared that at least some of which was brewed on site) but if the second and third pints my fellow diners were ordering was any indication, it was great. I am thinking seriously of returning with my wife (a bit of a drive from Modesto) but, the burger was that good, and I had lust in my heart for the onion rings I saw...

Cheese loaf and mango habanero wings
Gretchen T.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Just had to wait a few minutes for them to clear a table and the four of us were seated. Got the cheese loaf and mango habanero wings appetizers to share. My friends also got beer and cocktails that they enjoyed. The cheese loaf was crazy good. Cheezy with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was perfect, crispy on the outside but not super hard and so soft and fluffy on the inside. The wings were also good the sauce wasn't too spicy and they still had a little crisp to them. Pretty much every table was full and it had a good atmosphere. It came out to under $60 before tip. Would definitely come back for the cheese loaf and to try other things on the menu.

Nine of us on a road trip, stopped here for lunch on recommendation of a friend. We loved the restaurant and the decor. Savannah was our very efficient and nice waitress. Most of the group had beer on tap which they liked very much. Two of us had house made root beer - yum. We all had different items to eat and everyone was pleased with their meal. My husband had fish tacos which he enjoyed. I had the 5 napkin burger with onion rings both were delicious. Apparently Mondays are kinda quiet so no wait.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

Trusting in Yelp reviews, we headed to Lodi's highly rated and popular Avenue Grill. Service was wonderful. Our server (blond lady with glasses) was friendly and chipper and had a very nice demeanor. She was on top of everything. Food came out quickly too. Seemed like the rest of the customers there were local regulars, who knew one another. Cozy, family-friendly vibez. I got the chicken fried steak with crispy potatoes. Good country gravy, seasoned potatoes, and chicken fried steak was delicious. Big portion, enough for leftovers. My husband got the steak & eggs. The steak was a little too dry and under seasoned to my husband's liking. He always orders medium-well, but it was more well. I did agree that it didn't have much flavor. But I had it the next day for leftovers and thought it was good mixed with my gravy and potatoes. So if you're looking for a good traditional breakfast diner, this is probably your spot. It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting. We sat inside, where the space features exposed brick, artwork throughout, and very comfortable seating... my partner specifically pointed that out. The layout includes a mix of seating areas, which gives it a more relaxed, layered feel. The bar area, known as the Ghost Lounge, adds a darker, more lounge-like element to the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server, Lacy, was friendly, attentive, and witty - easily one of the best servers we've had in a while. For drinks, I had a local Oak Farm red wine that was excellent. Others in our group had mimosas, which were well received... especially the grapefruit mimosa, which my partner really enjoyed. For food, there were several highlights. My partner had the chicken and waffles and loved it; I tried some and would agree it was very good. Another person in our group ordered the steak breakfast tacos, which came as a set of three. They only ate two, and I had the third and it was delicious and something I would recommend. Another in our group had the eggs Benedict and thought it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. It was okay, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. In terms of value, prices felt consistent with the quality of the food, service, and overall setting. It's not a budget brunch spot, but it feels appropriate for the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Easter brunch with great service, a comfortable and well-designed interior, and several strong menu items. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, though if half-points were an option, this would land closer to a 4.5. We'd definitely come back.
