I absolutely do not recommend Logan's Roadhouse at 2315 Beltline Road in Decatur AL. I am on a business trip in Decatur and I had delivered to my hotel today, a 16 ounce signature ribeye, medium along with sides. I will post a picture of the ribeye, showing what wasn't edible due to a lot of grizzle and too much fat. I might have ate a 6 ounce portion. The seasoning on the steak was sparse. And cutting it was difficult. But the rolls were delicious. I paid $34.79 for the steak and I am highly disappointed. I don't want apologies, since that won't fix my financial loss and from past reviews there are others who also were highly disappointed. I should be able to go into any Logan's Roadhouse and expect a high quality meal that I didn't receive tonight. Is that really too much to ask for?

If you want your steak medium rare order it rare. It wasn't nearly as bad as the Gallatin, Tennessee location but not as good as the Lebanon Tennessee location. If you're gonna sell steak, you gotta know how to cook it even if it's on a salad. Sorry folks.

To sum it up..decent food, good service. We'll be back. Had a pretty good Saturday evening experience. Our server Chris was really attentive and personable. I told him how we hadn't been in a while because last few times the food was subpar. He was confident it would be better because he said their best cook was on the grill. They have a wood fire menu and some logs of wood in a rack. I love wood smell..not a lot of that in the eating area though. Typical Logan's with the yeast rolls and peanuts. Both of which I and the family love. I didn't get many pictures. I ordered a med-rare prime rib. An assortment of sandwiches, steak, and ribs also ordered at our table. Everything was good. But guess whose order was messed up?! Mine! Haha. That's what I get for venting. I was served a 12oz ribeye instead of prime rib. I mentioned it to the runners. They took the steak and brought me a prime rib. Not sure what they did with the steak and I kind of regret not keeping it because it looked delicious..more so than the prime rib. One big positive for me was the veggie skewers were cooked well! Woohoo! We're looking forward to coming back...especially since right around the block. Reply to business owner: The staff did make it right and brought me the correct order. The original, yet incorrect, 12oz ribeye looked very good!

Order my steak medium. It comes out well done. No juice whatsoever. Can't chew it. I tell the waitress. She says that's how they do medium steak here. Lol okay.

    Look at all the gristle.

Very slow service, Order was incorrect twice, Food was only so so for the money. Nothing special just ok . Better places than here to eat.

My family all had custom orders and all our food was just how we ordered it. No mistakes. No send backs. Flo's filets were tops and cooked exactly right for me and grandma. Although grandma said it wasn't as spicy as normal (???) I think she meant it needed a bit more peppercorn. My mom liked her burger. The parmesan crusted chicken looked good. Salads were fresh and nice portions with actual vegetables! Unlike Steak-out "salad". Pleasantly surprised. A nice send off meal for us out of town grandkids before heading back to the real world :D

My steak, porterhouse, was cooked decent but a little too much char on the bottom was almost inedible. It didn't feel like a 22 ounce or whatever it was. I wouldn't order it again for the cost. I'd get the bone in ribeye at that point. If you get the most expensive steak they should balance it out with a strong potato with plenty of toppings, at least butter and sour cream. My wife's chicken was great! We'd come back, but we have other restaurants in town we like better.

It was also a business card so not sure what she had planned to do with my ID. I left..won't be back.
