Bill for two meals and one ice tea.
    Cynthia R.

I have eaten the food at this restaurant on at least three occasions and each time I was not disappointed. The prices line up with the portion sizes are reasonable and the service is pretty good too. The ambience is cozy, but in certain locations of the restaurant during the cooler months, you can feel a breeze. It would be nice to have a door that was continuously closed so the air would not circulate into the building and would stay in the foyer area.

My wife's family was in town and we decided to go out to Logan's for dinner. The wait wasn't to long for seating considering the amount of people with us. We were seated by the stairs leading to the space above and Everyone was waiting on the yeast rolls which we absolutely love and we began to order. I ordered the grill chicken sandwich with bacon and baked sweet potato which was fantastic. My wife ordered the steak and ribs with the baked potato which she loved. All in all we really enjoyed our time here!

It was my first visit and I had no expectations. I had never been to Logan's before because there weren't any near me. So when I was in the area, it was time to try one. I was pleasantly surprised by Logans! Our server was excellent and the food came out fast. We loved the complementary rolls and ate every one. I had the pork chop with a bake potato and apples and he had the rib eye steak with. Both were served piping hot and tasted fantastic. Pleasantly surprised, no complaints at all. We will be back.

Logan's is the steak house you go to when quality is not what your looking for. Cold light beer, overcooked, or undercooked is how they cook steak, big salads, big beers, average prices and decent service. The place is old, and somewhat clean, with a leaky roof that we were watching the water drips just miss the food and drinks that the servers were bringing out. They murdered my wife's steak, our dog enjoyed it. The dogs review is here: yum yum yum steak yum yum treat yum huff huff. Go out now. The kitchen staff tries, they really do, it's not their failure, its the meat. it's hard to cook a steak on a grill...it's not like you can use a temperature probe to get the temperature perfect. Hmmmmmm.

    Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

I've been eating at Logan's since they first came to Gastonia. It has been a while since I've eaten here until today (it's been at least a year, I'm pretty sure). 90% of the time, I get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The last time I ate at Logan's, I had one. But after tonight, I'll probably not go back. In all the years past, the chicken breast has always been almost twice the size of the bun, and very thick. Tonight, it wasn't even as large as the bun, the portion of fries was smaller than normal, and the price has increased since the last time. Increasing price while decreasing portions is bad practice, in my opinion. The service was perfectly fine, so no complaints there (honestly, the service is the only reason I'm giving 2-stars; based on food alone it would be 1). And the restaurant was clean, so I couldn't ask for more in regards to that.

Our check in then, table ready, and got sent a review 10 min after we had left.

Fun to see the old theater and the kids with us enjoyed looking around. The music was a little loud, but we did let the server know and they did turn it down for us. We had a group 8. The food was good, maybe a little small in portions. We almost all ordered the crab cake Benedict and the ham Benedict. We also ordered the cheesecake, the crème brûlée and the coconut cake. They were all really good, but I would note the crème brûlée had I believe tea in it? It wasn't just a traditional flavor but it was delicious! I do want to comment on experience. I was with my 8 month old son, who can't eat runny eggs. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and I asked to swap the poached egg to scrambled egg so I could share with my son. The server let me know he was going to check with the chef. He came back right before the plate was dropped off and said "The chef will not be doing that substitution for you". I acknowledge this is an abnormal substitution for eggs Benedict, but I was surprised and disappointed that the chef couldn't make this simple accommodation.

They used to have a sign that said "No WiFi, talk to each other," But didn't see it this time around. Anyways, Linebergers is a great spot to eat at if you are looking for some good food in the Lake Norman-Mooresville area. This is a fairly casual steakhouse, so if you don't dress up you won't be the odd ball in the room, but you certainly have a choice. Every server is fantastic. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that. As a summary, the hospitality at Linebergers is unbeatable and has some pretty solid food (don't forget about the incredible salad bar). Once again, if you are in the area, do not miss out. Head to Linebergers! You will not be disappointed.

In a way he seemed bothered to have a table. Chalked it up as maybe a bad night, but it didn't enhance our experience. We ordered the pork belly appetizer, and the pork belly itself was burnt and the peaches were mushy - almost baby food texture. A miss for us. The steaks, again, amazing, perfectly cooked - even my daughter's steak tips. The sides however, another miss. The kids fries were mushy, and tasted like they had been sitting out a while. My husband's mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant/from a box and lacked the bright white color or fluffy texture. My wedge salad was drenched in dressing, and the dressing itself was runny. It certainly wasn't what I anticipated for a steakhouse wedge. It seemed like a rushed after thought. The other part that was a letdown - every single plate we were handed was broken. Every single one. When you're paying steakhouse prices, I'd like to see presentable plates. One, sure I could see it slipped by, but every one? That's just laziness on replacing them in my opinion. I'll say it a third time, steaks were delicious...but the rest, well it was just lacking, and not sure the steaks hold their own to justify another trip.
