My group of 18 went to Logan's in Gastonia, NC on Saturday January 25, 2020 for my granddaughter 11 birthday. 1st we arrived at 430 pm were told 30 minute wait. We were taken to our table at 6:30 pm. 2nd, when we arrived at table the table still had leftover food on it and when we asked waitress for something to clean table she was rude about doing it. 3rd, we weren't given menus or silverware we got the menus ourselves. Waitress finally brought silverware. 4th. About mid way through meal we asked for more rolls. When waitress brought them to table they weren't fully cooked, they were still white and doughy inside. The only thing I can really say that was good about our meal was the house salad . Another issue I have is that they sat us upstairs and did not tell us that no restrooms up there or any handicap facilities. My sister who can hardly walk due to diabetes needed to go to restroom and didn't because it would intel her going down and back up stairs. Very unhappy with my experience read more

Very casual with peanut shells on the floor and can be low cost. Love the "everything salad" adding steak strips or grilled chicken.

Went to Logan's on a Friday at 1230 PM for lunch. First low rating 93. Not very busy lot of dirty tables had to wait. Sat us at the wait station. Bread very good and hot and fresh. Steak over cooked ordered medium got it well done. Ran out of beverage. Not impressed read more

I showed up here 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday night after football. The staff was still very friendly and attentive, from the hostess to the waitress to the busboy. I had jst traveled for 7 hours, and it really lifted my spirits. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich I ordered was super sub-par. It was a bear breast with some sauce put on the top that somehow managed to make it drier instead of more moist. Overall a decent experience except for the sandwich. Always a great place for appetizers or dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. When in Gastonia this is one of my go to places to eat.

Had a combo with steak, ribs and shrimp and they were 0 for 3. The sirloin was dry and had an off-taste like the meat was not fresh. Ribs were badly overcooked and dry mushy meat, and the skewered shrimp arrived at the table cold and tough. On the positive side, they had good fresh-baked rolls. However the steamed vegetables were also overcooked. I don't mind the peanut hulls all over the floor but I do mind the lousy food. Will not be back. read more

Definitely needed more wait staff for a Sunday there are 15 or more tables open and we are had to wait for a table... really? Not impressed....waited 30 minutes for a table due to staffing - no excuse, sorry. On the plus side, service was good, food was good, and salad was fresh. read more

I love the salads! I came in on Thursday lunch and John greeted me with his name and a menu immediately. He was very friendly and very attentive! I will give him five stars.! I will say I am used to having Charlene wait on me at the bar. She knows my name knows what I drink and is extremely personable! I was very sad to see that she doesn't work there. We called ahead for a party of 10.. but was declined reservations, arrived at 6:50 and was told there would be a 45 minute wait , after asking the snooty hostess's 2 times after an hour how much longer they never could answer me so I asked for a manager , they had wrote us in for a party of 20 instead of 10. After asking for management we were seated in 5 mins. Food and service was good but not worth the wait :( read more

Probably my favorite place to eat in Gastonia. The yeast rolls are delicious. They have the best ribs around (in my opinion) and the steaks are great too. Staff is very friendly. We drive about 40 minutes from Blacksburg SC to eat here several times a month. Anytime any of us wants to go eat, I say lets go to Logan's lol. read more

If you have an out of state id, they might refuse to serve you a beer or mixed drink, ir happen to my daughter. Long story short she's 32 and was refused even with her legal id from out of state and her nc birth certificate. And this was by the manager. Have called several times and have not been called back yet, its been 2weeks,I guess they can't stand feedback. read more

This place is as good as it gets! The food tops Longhorn's and Outback by far! The wait time is not bad! And at least i get the right sized portions for what i pay for unlike the other steak houses! I can actually see what im eating unlike the other steak houses that have it almost pitch dark in there restaurants. The prices are great and so is the service! We go at least once every weekend! Never had a problem with the id situation and we are from SC. It is very laid back and family friendly! If your looking for a good time, great food, great service and a relaxing place.... Please go to LOGANS! If your looking for horrible service, crappy food, uptight people with a long wait please by all means go to Outback or Longhorn's.... Just sayin! read more

Our service was great when we first got in, then our food never showed up. Eventually I asked for the check for our drinks and salads and the manager came over and told us she would be right out with our food. My steak was delicious. She did comp our meal (which is not what I wanted but its a free meal and I was way ticked) our server did come back to refill drinks and finally did apologize. But still she walked by like 6 times without acknowledging us or even thinking "hey, it's been 45 minutes why don't they have their food?" read more

I am sorry to say some days you just can't win. My husband and I stopped in for a good steak and we were both disappointed at the quality of the steaks. We both ordered the TBone. They were at best a qtr inch thick. I like my steak med rare and my husband's is med well. When we got them they were both very well done as I said they were so thin that it is almost impossible to get a med rare. Anyways they took both steaks back and returned shortly with 2 new steaks. His was fine; mine on the other hand was pretty rare but I ate it anyway. The steak had good flavor but man the amount of and veining just made it so tough to really enjoy eating. I really hope this was just an off night because I have eaten at Logan's in different states and the quality of the steaks were much better. Guess we'll see the next. read more

I was here eating earlier with some friends and my family and never in my life have I been so upset with these people. We were upstairs and alone so my two boys were enjoying that and the fact they haven't seen these people in awhile excited them. We were there for about an hour goofing around waitin for food and having a blast, when we were told that we were bothering one table in the corner on the other side below us with the noise... First off, they were all the way in the other side, and why are you the only ones complaining? It must not have been that loud cause the people at the bar I spoke to were fine with all the "noise". Well I told her ok fine we were being a little rowdy. Well halfway through our dinner my oldest snuck out of his booster and took off running. No more than 30 seconds and the lady was back again telling us about the people complaining. I was like are you kidding me? He just did it and he is sitting now. So I told her we were leaving and she fumbled with her words trying to calm me down but I was livid. You would dare come up and upset a group that has a bill of over 200.00 just to make someone who maybe is spending 40 bucks happy? Move them. Don't chastise us for an accident. Kids are kids. They run. It was an accident and you and those people were just being dicks at this point. Me and my friends won't be coming back. The food was terrible to top off my rant. I'd rather eat at outback. I ate there at least 3 times a month and we always spend over 100.00 each time. Guess they don't appreciate that. read more

After such a positive experience about a month ago, decided to go back for my mother's and my birthday with out of town guests. Out of four guests, only one order was done right. On one plate, the side was wrong. On two plates, the meat was overcooked and sent back for re-fire . An hour later, the two re-fires were cooked the same way. We were told that the delay was because we ordered medium well. Fine, even though I disagree. I don't believe that medium well should be chard halfway through the burgers or take an hour. After complaining again, we were finally told that they will look into an issue with the grill. That still doesn't explain why it took so long to get a check, couldn't get beverages refilled, dirty dishes weren't cleared and nobody even said happy birthday when we explained that we were here for a special occasion. Very little empathy although the manager did remove the cost of the burgers from the check. I would rather pay the ~$20 and be able to enjoy my birthday with people who flew in and get what I ordered-- cooked to order. So very disappointed. I will not recommend again. read more

Terrible service!! Arrived at 12:10 on Sunday, before the lunch crowd. Ordered a burger with a side salad & 2 orders of wings. Got the wings in about 20 min & was told the burger would be out in 5 minuets, another 20 min still no burger then the waiter said 1 more min. Another 10 min still nothing!! Order the Prime Rib Sandwich with fries expecting a sandwich with Prime Rib...silly me. Meat was gray, LESS than 1/4 thick and 1/2 of the sandwich was uneatable due to the fat lacing the meat. Fries were semi-cold and hard. read more

Took my wife to lunch for her birthday and we both thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. It started with a great salad followed by a perfectly prepared filet mignon. The best we have had in awhile. Her baked potato and my baked sweet potato were both perfect. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. The manager stopped by twice to check on us and took the time to chat with us. We both left with a smile and a full belly. We can't wait to make the 25 mile trip back. read more

Came here 4/30 running late for a flight out of Charlotte. They told us it was a 20 minute wait which made us nervous but then they seated us seven minutes later. Service was terrific and super friendly. Can't say enough nice things about our hostess and waitress. Food was better than expected (steaks and bread / butter were great) and we would definitely go back. read more

First local visit; pleasant atmosphere, good food, well prepared. Unhappily we had poor service. Waitress forgot our appetizers, refilled our unsweet tea with sweet tea, (she never asked before pouring).To her credit she removed the charges for the appetizers before we got the bill. If we go back we'll make sure to have a different server. read more
