    Roadhouse Cobb Salad
    Eddy N.

Ordered delivery thru DoorDash. Looking for a good salad and came across Logan. Had the Cobb salad with tri tip, was pretty good. Meat was cooked well, juicy and tender. My big regret was getting the angry pickles...it was supposedly deep fried in a batter but sure didn't look like it. Paid $14 for literally just pickles and jalapeños, Big disappointment. I would order the Cobb salad again but should stay away from the pickles.

Short Version: Assistance+ Balance + Cleanliness + Deliciousness+ Environment+ Long Version: Assistance+ Ricky Bobby served us professionally promptly and treated us as not just customers the likes that one would treat a friend or family. He showed us that there were some changes to the menu new items and ask us what kind of food we usually like and suggested some of his personal favorites. Ricky Bobby is easily the benchmark of what every server should hope to be. Balance + The prices have not changed very much and for the amount of food you get it's very well balanced. Cleanliness + The restaurant was in good clean order, from a spic and span bar, to clean floors, and a nice clean restroom. Deliciousness + I've been here a few times, the food never lets you down, and it has a lot to do with the server. I've only ever had one experience that wasn't the best and it was because the server really didn't care to be there. This was years ago of course, since then I've been here many times and plan to be many more. The food is cooked perfectly, is fresh and delicious, abundant and the menu is always getting a couple new things added to it especially for holidays. As for the bar the bartender who's been here for like 20 years or so she is a master mixologist and comes up with some of the best combinations that you can only find at this location. Superb! Environment + Casual and comfortable, with a country down home feel to it. It is indeed a decent Roadhouse. The folks there greet you with kindness and sincerity and our server Ricky Bobby kept it going the whole time. (Lack of food pictures is due to me having to take my food home today unfortunately but I can tell you now it was quite delicious for the few bites that I did get to take before leaving)

Great steaks and the Prime Rib is excellent!. Good service there fresh baked buns are to die out for and my wife and I both have decided that they are good enough to make a meal all by themselves. In fact we are planning on having our anniversary dinner from there this evening, it's been a great 53 years of wedded bliss and 56 happy years together. The first in our "group" to get engaged, the last to get married and the last to have a child (daughter), and of the ones still living the only ones still married to their original spouse.

BEST MOZZARELLA STICKS! Look at that cheese pull!!! We have been here a few times and normally enjoy ourselves. It's your standard busy, family-friendly restaurant environment with great hosts and servers. The tables and interior are clean and decently taken care of. Our steaks are always so tender and well cooked. I tried the coleslaw this time and enjoy the yummy, cool crunch against my other hot food. My only complaint is that some of the food seemed over seasoned and too salty for my tastes. The rolls, while delicious, were also saturated in butter which made them hard to handle. Overall, we look forward to coming back and I will have my own personal preference requests, which the staff was happy to oblige this time around as well.

The entrance was a bit tough to recognize. In addition, the sign requesting patrons to wait to be seated was absent personnel. The youngster arrived while on the phone taking a reservation. Further delay as she coordinated seating for the large group (showing up on Wednesday, she shared). She mentioned they were slow and said I could select whatever table I liked. I ordered a savory martini and filet mignon, mashed potatoes and French onion soup. Soup arrived with the martini and the two could not have been more oppositely received. The soup exquisite, the martini...nearly undrinkable. But to be fair, I wasn't expecting an overwhelming bell pepper flavor. Black pepper Absolute Vodka was the description. I detest bell peppers. I tried to choke down as much as I could, then decided to give up halfway through. The soup was sublime. A 1/4 inch slice of brown toast under the melted Swiss cheese, the broth and onions delicious. I requested a 6 ounce pour of the Caymus California Cabernet Sauvignon with the steak. It arrived with my meat and potatoes beautifully plated. I'm not sure I wasn't served a sirloin. That filet was the shape of no filet I've ever bought or been served. But it was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes were sublime - buttery and flavorful. The wine with less tannins than I anticipated- I really enjoyed that. Service was attentive and both the hostess and my server checked on me. My drive back to Sacramento will be pleasant.

Mac and cheese with bacon, French onion soup and the surf & turf skewers. French onion Soup was DELICIOUS, we added a little salt to the other two dishes and they were really good too. For dinner I ordered the $24 Caesar - it was good and it was big but it was a lot for a basic good tasting Caesar. Husband ordered the Chicken Parm over pasta with a red sauce and he loved it. Portion was huge and he brought half home. For dessert we had the cheesecake and the cream brûlée, both really good. Only downside, if you are dropping almost $200 for dinner, the bathrooms need to be clean and upscale. Mold in the ladies room toilet at the waterline - yuck - and Toilet paper dispenser broken and laying on the floor in the stall. This needs improvement. Overall we were happy with our meal and we will be back.

We were seated along the large window overlooking patio seating and the Sacramento River. The views are truly lovely. Our server, MJ greeted us kindly and took our beverage order. I ordered a glass of their House White, which was a 2022 California Chardonnay and was quite good. My partner ordered an iced tea. For dinner we ordered the Ribeye and the Filet, both cooked medium. Our food arrived approximately 30 minutes after ordering. The quality of the beef here was absolutely top notch. Prime beef for sure. This was the best steak I have enjoyed in Shasta County in over 10 years. Absolutely cooked to perfection. My partner's filet was massive. This had to be at least a 20 ounce filet and he enjoyed every morsel. The sides accompanying our mains, mashed potatoes and carrots for him and mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts for me, were fair to good, but not great. The carrots were raw. As in, not only very crunchy but cold all the way through. Mashed potatoes were nice and buttery, but not nearly warm enough. These spuds sat on a plate until the beef arrived. The restaurant was very kind in offering us a complimentary slice of cheesecake since we were celebrating an anniversary. The cheesecake was dense and rich and accompanied by berry sauce and caramel sauce, both of which were lovely. Freshly piped whipped cream and mixed berries and powdered sugar on the dessert plate made for a very lovely presentation, indeed, and was most appreciated. Service the entire meal was excellent. Price for our meals: $135 + $27 gratuity for a total of $162. We have paid nearly as much for a steak dinner elsewhere in Shasta County for a meal that came nowhere close to this. Worth. Every. Penny. Cannot wait to try the Brunch Menu. Highly Recommended.

For starters we had steamed clams, calamari and meatballs. For our mains we decided on their Bistro Filet Ravioli, which has Ricotta, Romano, Parmesan, and Asiago jumbo stuffed raviolis, creamy alfredo, chili flakes, topped with their signature pan-seared bistro filet tips. It was amazing. We also had their Ribeye steak at about $53.00. I think it was a 14oz hand-cut ribeye, and it had the best butter on it. It came with mashed Yukon potatoes and marinated asparagus. We will be getting all of this again. We were staying in a hotel so took home some great pasta. The service is great. The food is amazing and the place is just so cute and ever so clean.
