got to love a place that has large barrels of peanuts to munch on while u wait for a table and you can throw the shells on the ground. the food is good, nothing fancy, the service is pleasant and usually quite good to look at and the price is right. on a friday or saturday night its a great atmosphere for groups to eat and drink and have a good time. way better than some Bullshit applebees or chilis. one thing that annoys me about this place as i am passing through is the damn music. it is blasting way too loud and that kills the conversation atmosphere if you are at a table with your grandparents. turn that music down ! read more

Good beer, good wings, great burgers, great service. The hot wings were delicious! We ordered the spicy buffalo wings, Amazing. You absolutely must ask for the bread (rolls), it is perfectly soft and delicious. I recommend the Original Roadhouse burger with sweet potato fries. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because the bacon on my burger was undercooked the first time, I sent it back and when it came back, it was divine! This is a great place for families. My kids LOVE this place(they call it the peanut place LOL and like they can toss the shells on the floor with out mama getting mad) they LOVE the rolls, like everyone and the steak and drinks are a hit with the adults! I hadn't been here in quite some time and was looking forward to a good meal and good service. Firstly let me say, this place needs a good cleaning. The booth we were in was so dirty... the wall of the booth had dried on food, and who knows what else. The top of the booth was really dirty... like hasn't been cleaned in months, dirty. We received a salad, which was very good. Then we waited for 45 minutes to get dinner. The steaks were good, veggies were over cooked and shrimp was really salty. The person with me got one of her sides after she was finished eating... They felt badly so they took 25% off of her meal.. not the entire tab, just hers. Both of our meals were cool because our meals sat in the heat window for about 10 minutes before they were brought to our table. All in all, not a great experience. Some friends wanted to go to Logan's, where we had never been, so we agreed. They love it and think the food is great. Well, all I can say is that I guess we are much pickier than they are! Overall, I found the food to be VERY salty -- appetizers and main dish. And they put SUGAR on their sweet potato fries! Totally unnecessary and adds to the general unhealthiness of the meals. I made reservations two days early for a group of 12 for 6:30PM. I got there at 6:15PM and was greeted immediately and assured they were almost ready for us. My group started showing up within a few minutes and we were escorted to our table. More of us showed up than expected and we wound up with 17 people. No problem. Our waitress was Karen. She was perfect....friendly, fun, cheerful, extremely efficient and just plain nice. She took our drink orders immediately and soon thereafter we were happily drinking them. Then she took our dinner orders. We all ordered something different and she had to make separate bills for us as single, couples and so forth...no problem, she did it perfectly with a smile and some laughs. Our meals were served within a reasonable time and all the orders were correct. I had the Cobb salad and asked for Cranberries to be added which they did with no extra charge. My salad was excellent and I heard no complaints from anyone else on their steaks, ribs, salads, burgers and all the other various things we ordered. We were all so pleased we gave her a round of applause and cheers as we were getting ready to leave. We tipped her well and she earned every penny of it. Our group goes to a different restaurant every Wednesday so we've done most of them here in town and this was just about the best overall experience we've had. Went there tonight Febuary 6 2015 for our 41st Annaversary with our son and a friend, so there were 4 of us.. It was 6:00 pm the friend ordered the prim rib, well they were already out, my son ordered NY strip my husband ordered ribeye I had flietmenon .. So the friend ended up with a rack of ribs...they were very tough, not good, but he let it go ... The sons steak had more fat and grizzle then meat but didn't complain, husband ask for med it came out rare so he sent it back..hen they brought it back it was still rare, so he said just fix me another steak med. well they brought it back it was so well done it was curled up and was tough as shoe leather...my fliet had a huge tenden down the middle ... So we left, the husband ended up with a hamburger from a fast food restaurant... Told the Manger if this was as good as his cooks could do they needed to get rid of them...the manger was great took care of the bill, the waitress did very well ... But they need another cook ... Would I go back? Probley not this was our 3 rd time going to this place and all 3 times it was bad, but we gave them chances... 3 strikes your out!! read more

This is only the second time we have eaten here but the first time was quite a few years ago and it was delicious! This time it was the polar opposite. The place appears to have had no upkeep for the past few years. Half the neon sign was burnt out and the inside appeared run down. The rolls were still delicious and so was the house salad! I had ordered a burger but completely lost my appetite when my son pointed out a large bug crawling up the wall beside me! Yep it was a cockroach. It was HUGE! The waitress did manage to chase it down and kill it and they did move us to another table. I cancelled my order and they were apologetic and gave me a $20 gift certificate which I used on my bill that night cause I will never be going back there. My husband and son rallied through and ate their meals (YUCK) which both said weren't great. The prime rib was overdone. The waiter was great! Wish I could remember his name. We stopped here during our travels with our dogs. We were looking for a dog friendly place to have lunch and spotted the patio at the restaurant. Hubby had me go inside to find out if dogs were allowed on the patio. I was quickly and cheerfully greeted by Rome. When I asked about the patio he said yes. I went to get hubby and the dogs. Again we were greeted by Rome at the entry gate to the patio and were allowed to select our table (no one sitting outside in 100 degree weather) and said our server, Sam wold be with us shortly. Sam came and greeted us and then took our drink order. When he returned with our drinks, we ordered our meals as well as a meal for the dogs. Sam made a suggestion on the dogs' meal so it would not be as expensive so that was nice. Our food came in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. We will definitely stop there again. read more

I was very surprised to see that this place only got three stars!! I would give it 10 stars if possible! The food is awesome the service is awesome and the atmosphere is great! Never a thirsty moment...even when it is extremely busy in there we have gotten great service and received our food quickly! The cooks are very skilled...they know just how to cook a steak- and the wood grilled salmon is the perfect crisp on the outside and juicy tender on the inside. Not a single complaint here! I would recomment going to Mcdonalds before going here, this was our first time here and it had horrible service, shitty food, terrible drinks, extremely overpriced, and the night manager was an ass, 2 out of 3 of our entrees were sent back and the one entree not sent back was just a salad, the drinks were very weak and were not very good, when the waitress asked if one us would like another drink while we waited for our food to be remade we said yes, when she was told it was a blue something, she flippantly replied a blue whatever and walked away, they took forever to remake our food and 2nd drink and when we asked to speak to the manager and explained our grievances he then brought us a bill that was $65 for 4 drinks an appetizer and a salad, which is absolutely ridiculous when 2 out of 3 of us didn't even end up having our dinner because they had screwed it up. I strongly discourage anyone from ever going here and will make sure that no one I know ever enters this restaurant. read more

Worse experiance I've ever had at a restaurant! My husband and I both just ate there and now we are both sick to our stomachs! I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich that came with brown gravy. The gravy tasted like it was made from a packet, over salty and not tasty! The meat was completely dry and tasteless. And the macaroni and cheese I had was cold when they brought it out and tasted nasty, like something they microwaved! My husbands ordered a medium cooked burger and it was almost burnt, the only thing that was edible were the fries! The service was not great but not the worse I've experienced. Fantastic experience. Friendly faces at the front door, great food, cold beer, excellent service. Can't say enough good stuff about the bartender, Liz. She was incredible at her job. Interacted with all of the bar guests just as a great bartender should. She seemed to know something about every single guest. Whether it was a comment about driving safely on the way back home (seemingly hours away from what I could gather), or to have a great week fishing, or a well wish for one man's sick father- she said something personal to EVERY SINGLE guest as they left. She asked us about our visit and after we mentioned that we were in town on business, she asked for more information. Then she had a 5 minute conversation with us about business experience- it seems that as wells as being a fantastic bartender, she also owns a business with her husband?? Wow. If the customers for that business get the same service that we witnessed, I am sure they will do very well. I digress. The food was great, I had a New York steak at Liz's suggestion. Tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. Salad was nice and crispy. Rolls were hot and fresh. My business partner had a southern chicken salad with bean salsa and spicy ranch. He raved about it. They will look @ your table & keep walking right passed, even though you have empty water glasses & you have asked for bread more than twice! I just had one of the worst customer service experiences at a restaurant in my adult life (46 years old) . My wife and I were there at 1:00 pm for lunch today 7-12-17, thats a wednesday folks. It didnt take long to get seated and thats where the good part ends. The server took a reasonable amount of time to get to us and take our order. I specifically asked about portion size of a meal as I was somewhat hungry. Her reply was its a good size portion of tri-tip, about 4-6 slices depending on how the cook cuts it. I requested 6 if she could, again because I was hungry. The "salad" she brought was quite "wilty" but I gave it a go. When my tri-tip arrived it appeared as if 2 regular slices had been cut into 6 two inch pieces. I was not impressed and decided to just forego the whole meal however before I could summon the server to inform her of this, a group of "males" came in from a party limo and were clearly somewhat impaired. They were dropping the "F" bomb as if it were a conjunction. There were two ladies sitting in the bar who were cringing every time they spoke. The server was in the bar with them yet said nothing. I finally had enough and raised my voice and said to stop dropping the "F" bomb, still not drawing attention of the server. I saw what appeared to be a person of importance sitting in the outside area so I sought his attention. He was apparently the "vice president". I explained what was going on and that dinner was on him as his staff were tolerating and allowing this low class behavior to continue. I also said the ladies in the bar should have their meals paid for due to the behavior. The man who was with "mr vice president" seemed more shocked about the behavior and jumped into action. I saw them head to the bar area but the "males" remained loud and obnoxious. Poor management technique, poor food quality and poor service. If it were a friday night at 9:00 pm I could have more tolerated the obnoxious behavior but it was at 1:00 pm which is closer to family hour than happy hour. Get a grip on your place logans. My family used to frequent your establishment when you first opened and for years after but the past several years have been deplorable. Went there on august 9 2016 for the wife's birthday!! Paid $15 plus tip for two drinks!!! One long island tea and one beer!!! Got seated in the bar area!!! Never let them do that!!!! That is like the back forty!!! Terrible service!!!! After fifteen minutes looking at the menu we finally ordered our meals. We got rolls and salads maybe fifteen minutes later!!! Ate that then waited thirty minutes after that and still no dinner!! Finally got the waitress's attention( not easy to do!!!!!) and asked where our dinners were!! They had given my wife's steak to someone else and wanted to know if I wanted my COLD dinner now while mywife waited for her steak to be reordered!!!!! THINK NOT!!! we got up and left and went to Applebees!!! Logan's is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!! I will never bother to go there again!!!! Applebees was great!!!
