I really enjoy Logan's, but this one is not consistent with others that I have visited regularly. Sometimes the food is great, other times they completely mess up your order. I'd say they mess up your order more often than not. If you have patience this may not be a bad thing because management will take care of your meal if you complain to them. Logan's has always been my teen granddaughter's favorite place to eat. Once a month she has a doctor's appointment, and we travel an hour to get there and always eat at Logan's. She brings a friend and it has become a tradition. Last night we got there about 5:00. The server came by and got our order, brought drinks, hot rolls, and fresh peanuts. Then we began to wait and wait and wait. She kept saying she was checking on our food, but I noticed nobody around us had been served, and those people had been there when we arrived. Finally, at 6:25, we left, as did all the people around us. I felt bad for the server, because I know it wasn't her fault. I wanted to pay for our drinks, but I couldn't find anybody to pay. Went there some months ago.... Went there after watching the ad on TV... Total and utter disappointment. Found out that they had just changed their chef... The whole experience was unpleasant! Ordered steaks.. Orders did not come as required and didn't even come at the same time! Out of s party of 8, one person who had ordered pasta was served after all of us were done! Ate there last night. It took over 40 minutes to receive 3 steaks, and every steak was overcooked, and dry. I do not complain about food if it is edible, but my medium steak tasted well-done and it was sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. The baked potatoes we received were hot, so that must explain the delay. The waitress was concerned about our steaks so there must of been something up, she ask probably 3-5 times if they were okay. I probably had the best house salad ever tonight though! When we paid for our check, we were given more salad and a water, and the lady pretty much said.... "why did they tell me the wrong table." The kitchen did not have it together tonight and well if it was not for a gift card, I would not have paid 18 dollars for a rib-eye steak. read more

This place is close to my house, so any time I had wanted a steak this was my go-to restaurant. I guess I had just been used to the quality of the meals here because I thought it was good steak until I went to Texas Roadhouse in Lexington. I order the same cut of steak at both TR and Logan's. Logan's has consistently been dry and tough compared to TR. Never going to Logan's again. read more

Service very very poor. 15 minutes to get someone to take my order another 15 to bring the chips and dip out. Then another 15 or 20 To get my order. Had to shovel it in because only get an hour for lunch. Then on way out 6 people standing at hostess station and not one offered to open door and say thank you come again or even acknowledge me. The rolls and fried pickles were good - but that's pretty much it. Our food took well over 45 minutes to arrive at our table (I ordered a French dip with a side of steamed broccoli, and my wife ordered a chopped steak), and that was only after I asked whether or not our order has been placed. My wife said that her food was good and hot, but my sandwich, au jus, and broccoli were all luke-warm. Our waitress had offered no explanation or apology for the delay, and seemed miffed that I had asked the manager about the status of our order after 45 minutes of waiting. The manager did say he was going to apply a discount to our bill, but there wasn't a discount on the bill that our waitress brought to the table. I decided not to pursue the matter, and we left it at that. For the record: I've been here before, and have had better experiences on those visits. Im not sure if a Saturday night in January is just an off time for them as a whole, but it will probably be some time before I return for a repeat visit. read more

This is my least favorite steakhouse to eat at. My wife asked for a medium rare steak, it came out medium well. We told the waitress and then they brought out a very rare steak to replace the steak they originally messed up. Food was warm at best. The service was decent but very forgetful and it took longer to get our check than it did for us to get our food. (They were not busy at all) Steak (strip) was chewy but okay with a lot of A1. Chicken strips were very dry. Would not recommend unless I hated you. read more

Ordered the chicken fried steak. Was so tough could not cut it. Re ordered chicken, was ok. They tried pawning off a 12 oz warm beer in a pint glass and charge the pint price due to them running out of large beer glasses. Horrible dining experience!! We arrived here on Sunday night at 8 PM. We were seated quickly and had a friendly server! Those were the positives. We were served our drinks and then told they were out of lettuce and mashed potatoes. I had already decided on a salad and wanted nothing else. My father also wanted a salad to go with his steak, but ordered a baked sweet potato instead. The server comes back to inform us that they were also out of baked sweet potatoes. What kind of management is this place under? Chicken tenders that my mother ordered were inedible. We will never done here again! The management here needs a serious wake up call! I took my nieces and nephews out to the Richmond Ky location on Saturday nite 12-21-19. The seated us right away, (because it wasn't very busy), the young lady brought out drinks and bread, took our order and was very pleasant. The down side is after 45 minutes, I asked her how much longer as we had a 2, 3 and 5 year old that were hungry and she said she would check. After another 15 minutes or so, she came back and said it was almost ready, but the dinner my nephew ordered, they were out of. This is something that should have been informed before and hour of waiting. I told her very nicely that we were leaving due to kids being hungry. As we were getting our coats on, she came back and told us our order was ready to come out, the only problem, the other order they didn't have, which means he would have to wait at least another 20 minutes or so to get it. I told her no, and thanked her and she was a little upset, but I told her not her fault, that someone should be there managing and making sure things were going correctly. The sad part is in most places, there is a manger who walks around, checking on customers, this place I don't think even had one or else they didn't show much concern. Not even when we were leaving did anyone offer an apology except the poor waitress who felt bad about our problem. This was only the second time I had been there, and it wasn't much better the first, but I was willing to give it another try. I could understand if they were extremely busy, but half the place was empty. I can't say the service was bad, because out waitress was extremely nice, but someone really needs to be in there managing the place and seeing why it would take and hour to tell someone they don't have what they ordered. I don't usually complain about any place I eat, but feel it warranted. I hadn't been to Logan's in a while, but enjoyed my previous experience. Last night, while celebrating my 6 year olds birthday with my whole family of five, my experience was less than pleasant. First they didn't have a specific cut I was looking for because it is only served on weekends. I get that. Not my complaint. I settled for the sirloin which I was not able to finish. Either on the steak or on the butter garnishing on the steak there was a charred foil chunk or something else disgusting. I chewed the piece 2-3 times before I realized it wasn't a burned edge (medium rare cooked), but that it was a foreign object. Once I spit it out the smell was horrid and the metallic taste lasted more then 3 hours in my mouth. I was not charged for my plate as I sent it back, but I would question the cleanliness of this location. The waitress was apologetic once she returned after 10 to 20 minutes after taking my plate. I never saw a manger. For anyone considering this location I suggest other options available in the city. read more

I have a hard time understanding a steakhouse running out of a steak that is on their regular menu. Granted there was a $5 off coupon, but at 3PM on a Friday is not the busy time of day. The coupon says while supplies last, but it was 3 days before the end of the promotion. Limited availability promotions always scream "bait and switch" to me. The manager didn't even bother to stop by the table or make any other offer. If this was a promotional item and not on the regular menu, I would understand, but going into the weekend without the porterhouse steak advertised, seems like poor management. read more

Three strikes and your out. Third time eating at the Richmond Ky. location in about a year and I don't know why I was stupid enough to give them a third try. All I've got to say is that they had better get their act together before Texas Road House opens or they are short lived. If you want Logan's go to Lexington it's much better. Logan's look at the reviews. When 58% of the reviews are a 2 star or worse that should let you know there is a problem somewhere. I just spent $30 (including a $5 tip) for a steak and ribs plate that I literally took 3 bites off of and the were nice enough to not charge me for the steak that my wife took 1 bite of which she spit it out. She offered to let the waitress and the manager smell of the steak but they refused. They did offer to fix her another steak but after eating the salad that was half wilted and brown tinted she kindly refused before telling me that she was leaving the restaurant. This place doesn't deserve the one star but there was not a zero star review so I had to give it a one star. read more

Stopped here for dinner the other night. Worst experience I have ever had at a Logan's and I've been to a bunch. Walked in and got sat right away. Then proceeded to wait 10 minutes to get greeted. Took 6 more minutes to get our water. We finally get to order and I tell the waitress to bring stuff out as soon as it's ready because we are kind of in a hurry. Waited 22 minutes and all our food came out together. Was never offered refills on our drinks and had to flag someone down to get them. Our waitress really could not have cared less about us. My chicken wings came out with no sauce and my cheese fries were cold and cheese was dry and hard. They said they would bring out more and they were better but the fries were still room temperature. My son ordered a medium steak and it came out close to well done. My wife has food allergies and ordered her steak medium-rare and that was good but her sweet potato was wrong and would have made her very sick if she didn't inspect it. Overall we spent too much time and money and had a very crappy experience. The manager was helpful with a couple of minor things but that was it. We will not be stopping at this Logan's in the future on our drives south. read more
