So first of all, I gotta say, the Lola coffee on Roosevelt downtown is great. I live close to this one and there always seems to be a problem, a super long line with one person working there, machines are always broken or some kind of issue with something every time I go, I purposely don't go here because of this and every time I try or think maybe everything will be OK this time there's always something wrong. I am swept off my feet by this tiny cozy coffee shop. I felt like getting a sweeter iced drink, and blanco was exactly what I was craving - super nicely balanced flavors topped with espresso whipped cream! I would come back just for that whipped cream! Very popular coffee spot! I've tried the other location in central Phoenix and wanted to give this one a go as well. They had a good amount of customers on a Saturday morning but the line moved quickly and the drinks didn't take long at all to be made. The register employee was super nice and helped me choose a drink. We ended up with an iced cafe blanco made with oat milk and less sweet, since there weren't sugar free syrups as an option for this drink. After having it, I wish I stayed with the regular sweetness as the espresso was a bit bitter and overpowered the drink. Overall I loved the large amount of seating and welcoming vibe of this coffee spot! They had a bunch of food items as well. I'll just order a different drink to try next time. read more

The lola has a new spot in the Arcadia area! This shop is located on the Northwest corner of Indian School and 40th. The inside is large, welcoming and has a vibe that just makes you want to spend some time with friends or working on some work in a chill atmosphere. The menu focuses on the coffee. I ordered the matador and it has the rich flavor of espresso mixed with a bit of creamy goodness. The prices are really decent and they also offer baked goods for purchase in the case. Had a lot of fun talking to the barista about the shop and other fun topics. Super welcoming staff and just fits the aesthetic of the shop. If you love lola coffee in downtown, you will love this place as well. The decor incorporates a lot of natural wood and some modern fixtures which adds to the vibe of the shop. Super cool coffee shop that has a ton of seating and is a solid place to chill if you're waiting for one of the super busy restaurants to call your name. The coffee is pretty good and the staff is friendly, they do have some of the most terrifying art pieces I've ever seen on the walls which makes for some good conversation if you're with someone. My boyfriend ordered cafe blanco which is white chocolate latte. It comes with their own homemade cinnamon based whip cream. He loves his drink. Burritos here are surprisingly delicious. Not only do they have great coffee but decent breakfast burritos. The proportion/size is fair for the price. You can build your own burrito. Been to Lola's coffee a couple times and have loved every time, except my most recent visit. the coffee is always good, the amount of space and area to sit and study but one thing i haven't enjoyed is the employees. they are not very welcoming. i was disappointed because i took a friend here for the first time having high expectations and was served with attitude and no customer service manners at all. we repeatedly said please and thank you and was ignored with a flat attitude....i don't like to pass judgement on people maybe the cashier on saturday june 22 working the afternoon shift , is going thru anything but please be aware you're on the job and the customers can feeel your energy. read more
