I came here for my first time with my family. Upon entering the staff gave us a kind welcome even though it was already so busy. The staff exuded positivity and flow with one another even with the long line of orders they were working through. The vibes were very friendly and comfortable. The inside was very beautiful and clean. The lighting is perfect and there is a large round table in the middle with a beautiful center piece. There are also a few booths in the wall. Came in 8/16/26 mid day Sunday. It's always packed whenever I come here. It has decent seatings and seatings outside as well. There's a corner with some merchandise. The staff are always wonderful and greet customer happily when they come in and leaving. I got Strawberry fields latte and Einspanner matcha latte. The strawberry puree is great, nice flavor and complement the matcha well. The Einspanner is creamy. You can taste the matcha tea which is great! Also got the Tiramisu matcha. It comes with a cookie and espresso power on top. Out of the 3 this one is my favorite. Everything is great! The only con is the wait is long due to its being very crowded. Tried their Perfect Latte and have to admit it was pretty perfect! Also ordered their Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich and it came with a tasty sauce. Wish there was more indoor seating (since it's so hot outside) but there was plenty of outside seating which is ultimately where we ended up. I wanted to see what all the hype was about. My friend I was with likes La La Land and since we were only 10 minutes away from this location, we decided to stop by. It was a Saturday and we knew there would be a long line, so we ordered ahead online, which I highly recommend especially if you're taking it to go. There's plenty of parking around this location and it was easy. There were two lines when we arrived; one for dine-in and one for takeout. The line for dine-in was much longer and I was grateful we ordered ahead. They had some technical issues that day which delayed some of the online orders. They didn't come out in order. My friend got hers first and I got mine 15 minutes after hers. She got a matcha and I got the banana latte. I'm not really big on banana-flavored drinks, but thought I would try their specialty drink. To my surprise, I really enjoyed it! I appreciate the real bananas in it. My friend let me try her matcha and I thought it was really good, too. First time checking out, La La Land on a Sunday the wait time was about 50 minutes for coffee! Tried the upside down latte 7.5/10 - very solid coffee very bold and strong notes of espresso. Caramel and vanilla flavors are present but if you like sweet coffee then recommend adding more syrup pumps or cold foam. Service was good. Worth another try. read more

I did not realize there was another LaLaLand other than the one on N. Kierland, but I was glad I didn't habe to drive as far out to get here. When I arrived around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday, there was no line. My friend met up with me and we ordered the same thing: the Cloud 9 Matcha and the Queen Avo Toast. I was extra and also ordered a small Lululemon Chai Latte. It was okay. I did have to add a packet of stevia to get it a tad sweeter for my liking. We both enJOYed the avo toast. It was very filling especially with the first layer of cream cheese underneath the Avocado. I would have liked to have some balsamic drizzle on top! We both agreed the drinks were just okay. The Cloud 9 Matcha definitely didn't look like the menu picture. Ours barely looked like it had any of the strawberry cream. It wasn't very sweet, either. The Lululemon drink wasn't bad, but it just needed more sweetness imo. This was my first time here. I had seen it in L.A. when I was at The Grove with one of my friends over a year ago, but we didn't bother going since the line was ridiculous. There's not much to this place other than the charm and it's signature yellow cups and decor. It's safe to say the hype has died down at this location but I'm not sure about weekends. I'd imagine it gets packed and just be aware that the parking lot is TIGHT!! I could barely get out of Big Bertha because the person to my left park all funky and wayyy too close to the right side. I will say LaLaLand is one of those places that you should check out specifically for the hype, but it's not something I'd go out of my way for. I had to ask for more of the strawberry cream to put into our Matcha. The employee at the counter filled a cup about 1/3 of the way so my friend and I could share. La La Land never disappoints! While I was in town, I knew I had to try the birthday matcha. It was delicious! Next time, I would definitely add vanilla or another flavoring to the matcha. But, the mix of the whip cream and sprinkles with the matcha was perfectly sweet and such a good balance. Luckily, the to-go window online ordering opened back up, but I feel like ordering inside (even if there's a little line) seemed to be faster. The system at the window did not seem to be the most convenient and you could never hear if your name was called. The timing of the app saying your drink is ready was much faster than it actually being prepared. Despite that, the coffee and matcha are always delicious. It's definitely a favorite. I've been to La La Land in LA before and it's always been a good time. The service is friendly and quick for having a line out the door. The ambiance is pretty chill, you can dress up or down and you'd fit right in. I ordered the Banana Cloud Matcha Latte and it was very yummy. The banana flavor in the foam tasted like real bananas rather than the artificial flavor! I also ordered Truffle Burrata Avo Toast and it was delicious! My cousin ordered the Hazelnut Toast and it was so good. Nutella, strawberries and bananas, you can't go wrong. We also got the Mango Passion Fruit cooler and it was so refreshing and tasty. Got to try La La Land today and it definitely lived up to the hype! I've been on a banana coffee kick and the banana cloud latte with oatmilk was so delicious. We also got a blueberry muffin to try (gluten friendly) and it was huge! I was a little nervous stopping in on a Saturday around 12:30 but the line went fairly fast... I don't think we waited longer than 20 mins for the entire experience (waiting in line and getting the items). Finally got to give this spot a try and it did not disappoint! I opted to use the mobile app, just because I had heard how busy it was in the previous weeks. I guess I forgot I was going on a Tuesday at 11am, but I was surprised to see there was no wait and my drink was ready ahead of the estimated pickup time! The staff are all so sweet, and I guess I had no idea that their schtick was that they say "love you" to customers because I was definitely shocked at first when I went to get my drink, but I thought it was really endearing and cute. I got the matcha squared and oh man, it was perfect. I wish I got the bigger size! I really love a strong and thick matcha and this was exactly it, the ratio was just right between bitter, earthy, sweet and creamy. A friend had suggested we go grab a drink at La La Land after a girl's brunch recently since it wasn't too far. We went on a Sunday around 2:30 pm and the line was fair. I would say we had to wait about fifteen to twenty minutes overall from start to finish. I'd like to preface by saying that I'm not a big coffee or matcha person in general since both make me feel unwell after consumption, but I'll indulge once in a while. My friend highly recommended the banana cloud latte and since I love anything banana, I had to try it. I had asked if it could be made decaf and they had said that usually it could be, but they were unable to that day, so I got it with a single shot of espresso. Overall, the drink was not bad, I expected the banana flavor to be stronger. Service was patient, friendly and welcoming. They can get overwhelmed by the volume of orders, and so drinks in the same order come out at different times, sometimes with a large gap in between. Every single time I drive by, the place is absolutely packed with people. It's active, moving, vibrant, and alive! The Pro-Tip: Because people are constantly lined up down the sidewalk just to step inside, order your drinks from the app! You never know what kind of line you're going to see when you get there, so save yourself the wait and mobile order ahead. The Plot Twist Sip As you know, I am a plain Cappuccino kind of person. Nothing exciting about drinks for me, and I normally drink my coffee straight with no sugar. But on this visit, I randomly broke my own rules and selected a specialty drink: the "Einspanner Latte by Francois" (ICED ONLY). And oh my goodness... are you listening? It was the most amazing coffee drink I think I have had in probably five years, maybe more! It is the perfect ratio--that classic, rich espresso topped with a luxurious, velvety cloud. For someone like me who hates sweet coffee drinks, this had just the absolute perfect hint of sweetness without being overpowering. It was perfection in a cup. In fact, I went back the very next day and ordered the exact same drink again. I recently downloaded the LaLa Land app and was able to order my drink ahead and pick up in store. I decided to order the banana cloud latte, since I love banana! When I arrived, my drink was ready to go and tasted amazing! I was also surprised to find that there was NO LINE & PLENTY of seating! It was around 9am on a Wednesday... so if you're looking to dine in, I'd say weekday mornings are probably good. The people working were all really friendly. I love the bright, yellow decor and big, open space inside, there are some booths and tables to sit at inside and some tables outside too. There was also a window to pick up mobile orders. The second LALA location has finally opened up in AZ. They are currently still in their soft opening stages and you would never guess as they are super busy. We waited about 45 minutes in line last night. The parking lot was a nightmare and it took about 15 minutes for a spot to open up. We ordered five drinks. Three iced chai's, one iced latte, and one iced matcha. I ordered the iced banana cloud chai and an iced banana cloud latte (no ice) with soy milk and they were both really good. The iced banana chai was definitely my favorite though - totally recommend! Service was great and the employees were all friendly and welcoming. Love finding places that have coconut milk and decaf so I can enjoy coffee without the pain caffeine and dairy causes me. Cute aesthetic, they were busy but worked efficiently. I got a toast that tasted great, strawberries were very fresh. It isn't really a place to study for me, it was very loud and busy even at 1pm on a Monday. I had heard about La La Land for a while from other states, so I was excited when they announced they were opening not one, but two locations here! I had tried going to the Kierland Commons one, but the line was way too crazy. I was waiting for a good opportunity to go to this Phoenix location, and one day I they had a buy one get one promo for their 7th birthday. So obviously I had to give it a try! I tried placing my order both through the app and on their website, but both had major issues when I tried to submit my order, because so many people were also trying to do the same. It said the wait was about 30 min, and I was about 30 min away, so I just kept trying both methods of ordering until it finally went through. Because of some traffic and the hectic parking lot, it actually took me closer to 40 min to get to La La Land. There was a huge crowd at the pick up area, with 1 employee reading out names for orders that were ready. It looked very disorganized and several people looked frustrated. It wasn't clear which names she had already called out, and since I got there about 40 min late, I thought maybe my name had already been called, or worse yet, someone had taken my order. I asked another employee how this all worked, and she said I just had to wait for my name to be called and I could try to get to the front to see if it had already been called. The crowd was maybe 3 people deep and it didnt look very easy to push through. As I was trying to think of a plan, I heard my name called! Crisis averted. Normally, I imagine this plaza is not so hectic, but many people were like me, trying to take advantage of this bogo deal. I thought my drinks were rather sweet, I would do half sweet or even 25% sweet next time. I got the matcha squared latte and the banana cloud latte. Soft opening visit the day before their official first day. I had been curious about it after all the hype on social media. I knew people waited in line for the one in Kierland... so since this is walking distance from my house, why not? There was a line out front, but not terrible. Line continued inside. If you downloaded their app, drinks for 50% off. Went with the banana cloud latte. By the time I got inside and ordered and got the drink. It was about 25 minutes. I've never waited that long for a coffee drink but for a one time thing, okay. Interior doesn't feel like a coffee shop... I don't know what it feels like, but the big chandelier feels misplaced and it's pretty sterile. The yellow pops of color hit well though. It was super clean despite how slammed it was. They have a lot of new seating outside, so that's also nice. People working were friendly, which is clearly a prerequisite of the job here. That's not a bad thing at all, but it's a lot. If you don't want to be around a lot of high energy, this is not your spot. The drink was alright. I love banana so I did like it, but it wasn't so amazing that I would wait for it again if there were a line. The plastic cup, big lid, and sleeve on a cold drink, etc. feels excessive and like their price point may be better without all of that. But alas, not as insta-friendly. It isn't my vibe and that's not their fault. I didn't love it when I walked out and the young woman looked at me and said, "love you." I appreciate the emphasis on kindness, the bright colors, and what you're trying to do. I don't know what telling people you love them is going to land with everyone, but I get it that it's their thing and look - the marketing is working because here I am talking about it. I think it's going to make an already busy shopping center impossible to park at. Getting my nails done here and running into AJ's for some groceries are probably no longer going to be a quick thing. Today I noticed they were running valet parking... not a sustainable solution and not what you want to do when you go to a coffee shop/cafe, but maybe the lines will die down the longer they are open. Went on Sunday of the soft opening weekend. Showed up around 8:45 am and walked right in - no wait lines inside or outside! By the time I left, there was a decent-size line outside the door though. The Arcadia branch is very similar to its Kierland Commons counterpart, in terms of aesthetics. The yellow pops of colors are nice. Drinks were discounted by 50% for the soft opening. I had a hot tea and an almond croissant. Wait was a bit long to get my stuff. I didn't ask for my croissant to be heated, it would have been nice to get it right when I placed my order instead of having to wait for it in a different line. The staff was very cheerful and nice. They shouted "We love you!" a lot to customers. I can see people finding it cute or annoying, depending on the situation. I thought it was endearing, in a silly way. The place is kept immaculate and there was someone walking around ensuring everything was tidy and floors were kept clean. The sleeves had a different look from the ones they had at other locations. It may just be a supply thing for the date and time I was there. Service seemed a bit slow in getting drinks ready but again, I was there for the soft opening and they may have been still learning and working out the kinks. I'm not the biggest fan of corporately hyped spots, but that being said, I always want to give it my own taste test and review. Y'all, they're still very busy and the parking is a bit of a fight. It's not a very big footprint, so waiting for your order can get troublesome. I give props to the baristas as it's insane. Ambience wise? The clientele around me seemed annoyed for any wait (clearly there was going to be one) and often demanded their orders whether they were next or not. On to the coffee. I got their famous la la latte. The foam was good, but the coffee was just okay, meaning especially I couldn't taste much coffee flavor in it. If that's your jam, you like flavored milk or a shake more than the actual kick of a coffee flavor, then this is for you. As I had thought, and now confirmed, it's just not for me. Overhyped? The only critiques I would give this place is that 1. It's extremely busy at all times, so expect to wait in line a bit. Pre-order if you can and pick up at the outdoor window. If you're showing up to sit there, there is not much indoor seating which is rough for the hot summer months. Expect to stand inside or wait outside. 2. While they have some awesome specialty drinks, the menu is lowkey confusing to find a simple basic latte. I had to pay to swap sugar free syrup as an "extra syrup" option which made my small matcha like $9 lol. Overall, the staff is super friendly and very efficient! I used To love going here but it's been an absolute nightmare lately. I normally Try to mobile order because I know how crazy it can Get but the last few times my mobile app has been locked out. When I try to order as a guest I cannot because my phone number is supposedly being used but I can't reset my account and don't have another number. Spent $25 for 3 cups of coffee and waited 30 minutes for a coffee. The coffee is delicious but not to be unapologetically inconvenienced. By the way, we checked once and we're told that our coffee was not ready yet. Only to check again, to be told that the order was deleted and that's why we were waiting. No apology, no let's give your money back for the coffee, nor apologizing for the inconvenience. Then we spoke to the manager who was very nonchalant, like he could care less. Could hear it in his voice that he was just over it. Gave us a gift card, but I don't even know how much is on it. Nothing was mentioned. Seems your staff are more about having fun, fine if orders are being processed, and being giddy behind the counter, fine if they keep in mind that fans are waiting, then making sure coffees are getting out in a proper amount of time. I was so excited for us to finally have a La La Land so of course I had to go and try it out. As expected there was a line when we arrived, I want to say we spent around 30 minutes just waiting in line and another 15 waiting for our drinks. After the line from outside, you go inside and wait in another line so just be aware about that. We ordered an einspanner latte and a banana cloud latte. We did try getting a large for both but unfortunately the einspanner comes in one size only. Honestly, the size for the einspanner latte is insane and the price as well, it was around $7.60 for the tiny drink. The large banana cloud latte was around $8.20, nowadays I feel like that's the standard price for coffee anywhere. While we were waiting in line the worker was telling people if you download the app and sign up you could get 50% off a drink so we did but when we ordered and told the worker about it, he said it was only for online orders but online ordering wasn't even available, so that was very unfortunate. The drinks were honestly not that bad, they are on the sweeter side though so if you're not a fan of sweet coffee, I wouldn't recommend these 2 drinks. The service wasn't as bad as I expected it to be, considering the amount of people there were. The place was gorgeous, I loved the architecture of everything inside, they have arched walls that look beautiful, it really fits the aesthetic of La La Land.
