Flavor, flavor, flavor. The food here is so dang good, everything had such a unique and great flavor. Started with the breakfast eggrolls which were extremely full but not heavy, the jalapeños added a great spice and the chorizo paired well with the sauce. Blueberry donut with blueberry and lemon glaze was mouth watering, made for a great sweet part of the meal. The Adobo Fried Rice wasn't a Mexican type of adobo, we thought it was almost an Asian spin, super good. Extremely fresh, chicken was tender. Enough for 2 meals. The breakfast sandwich is the Hangover Cure, and, while not hungover, I totally understand the name. Cheesy, saucy, on the Calabrian chili pepper English muffin, it had so much flavor. Added bacon and I think it made for the perfect sandwich. The English muffin really did make a difference, light and airy but held up with a ton of sauce. Food took a little while but it was all so fresh. Tight inside, not many tables and people kept coming in the door to get the wait time. Staff was nice and friendly!

I got the hangover cure on the Calabrian chill English muffin and that was a game changer!! It was so good. The bacon was crispy which is a must for me. The staff was so nice!!

We had a great Saturday morning brunch at Lola's. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad since they are right on Butler and there are lots of places to checkout while you wait. It is a relatively small space so you should plan on some sort of wait on weekends. We did get 2 donuts while we waited, which were delicious. I had the coconut pandan latte and a breakfast sandwich and both were delicious. I highly recommend Lola's!

I've been eyeing Lola's up for a longgg time on instagram and I'm happy to say that it 1000% lived up to the hype. The staff were all super friendly and idk if I imagined it, but there were heavy sapphic vibes there that I loved lol. The place was beautiful. We sat at the bar and I spent most of the time looking around and discovered some new piece of decor every time. The food was incredibleee. The hangover cure on the Calabrian muffin (add sausage and pickled onions) was to dieee for. And the salt and vinegar fries (I forget the actual name of them) were so tangy and fresh. It's like salt and vinegar chips - the flavor almost overwhelms your mouth but you can't stop going back for more. I'm a savory girlie through and through but the Pandan donut and ube cinnamon roll were not to be missed. You may have to take them to go though like we did - the portions are super good for the prices".

Lola's has become one of our go-to spots, especially for breakfast--the breakfast egg rolls are incredible and worth the trip on their own. The food overall is consistently delicious, and the vibe inside is super cute and thoughtfully decorated. I also really appreciate that they have a parking lot, even though it's small and usually full. That said, there are a few areas that could be better. We've had items left out of our order a few times, and while they have always made it right when I reached out on Instagram, it's definitely frustrating. Takeout waits can also be a challenge--there have been times we waited around 50 minutes past the pickup time. Despite those hiccups, we keep coming back because the food is great and the staff has been responsive when issues come up. Just plan for a bit of a wait and double-check your order

Great brunch spot with a Filipino twist! From the outside, I would have never guessed how eclectic and fun the inside. We stopped by around 9:45 am on a Saturday and were lucky to snag two open bar seats; otherwise, the wait for a table would've been about 15 minutes. We started with the ube latte and coconut-pandan latte. Both flavors were pretty suble, but I though the pandan latte had a more noticeable pandan aftertaste. For food, we ordered the Spam N'at (Spam Silog) -- definitely recommend adding the house banana ketchup for an extra $1. We also got sides to share: breakfast eggrolls, lumpia shanghai, and bola bola (Filipino meatballs). The lumpias were perfectly crispy. Presentation of the lumpias in the Spam can was so cool and resourceful! The breakfast eggrolls were tasty, but a bit messy with the filling spilling out. And the bola bola were surprisingly huge! Overall, a great brunch experience that mixes comfort and creativity in all the right ways.

Lola's is honestly a hidden gem in PGH. I love that they have incorporate traditional filipino flavors into traditional American dishes. Like their incredible and gigantic ube cinnamon rolls!! Their dessert section is so decadent. They have so many unique and fun donut flavors. They post a lot of specialty items on their Instagram, and that's the easiest way to follow along for their specials. Their brunch/breakfast options are amazing too. However, the line is always super long on weekends, and their breakfast bagels are usually sold out by the time I can get there. I usually always get the lumpia (a traditional Filipino spring roll filled with shrimp and pork) because it is SO good. Overall, Lola's definitely a great spot for breakfast and sweets (if you can get there before they sell out)!

Lovely Saturday brunch here with friends last weekend! They close at 2pm and we got there after 1...they graciously accepted us to the waitlist and didn't seem put out at all by the fact we ended up finishing after 2pm by the time we got seated and finished eating. That said, service was great. Asked for decaf and we were given a whole French press :) Between the three of us, we ordered the hangover cure breakfast sandwich, the All American (2 eggs, bacon, home fries, and sourdough toast), and the veggie monster bagel sandwich. All of us really enjoyed our entrees! I got the veggie monster and it was great...the bagel was fresh and I loved the rosemary. Veggies were crisp and they even had multiple types of hot sauce to choose from so I was a happy camper. Expect a wait here if you go on the weekend, but to me it was worth it. Thank you for the experience and delicious food, Lola's Eatery!

The best food and drink options for breakfast/brunch in a cozy and chic environment! A total gem. We visited Lola's around 9:45 AM and were seated right away. There were several customers dining in and some walking in for take-out orders. Our waitress, Eva, came over promptly while we looked over the menu and asked if we were interested in drinks. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk and lavender flavor. SO GOOD! A nice amount of sweetness and tons of lavender syrup. The veggie monster breakfast sandwich is deemed a forever favorite now - I could taste every single vegetable inside and the rosemary on the bagel was delightful. Comes with avocado at no extra charge. You can also add a hash brown, but I opted not to. I eyed up the pastry case all morning and walked over to see what was available. I went with the mixed berry pop tart and it took me back to my childhood. The pastry dough was crispy the filling inside was sweet. Lola's is a one of a kind spot in Pittsburgh and I recommend stopping by.

Fantastic time at Lola's! Walked in with a party of 6 on a Sunday morning and the waitlist was super easy to join and track along on our phones. Within 30 mins we were seated and our server was super kind and helpful with the menu. My group mainly got the Hangover Cure and the American breakfast. We all LOVED our food! The decorations inside make the space so cozy and fun. Love the random little decorations like the everything bagel lamp on the wall. My food was cooked perfectly and hit the spot! Their house made dessert selection looked amazing but unfortunately we did not have enough space to try them - next time! The menu had a ton of different Filipino and Mexican inspired dishes, I loved the unique combination! They also have a list of rotating weekday specials (none really on the weekend) so definitely worth checking those out! Can't wait to visit again

Lola's is such a great spot to eat at if you're in Lawrenceville. Their bacon egg and cheese bag sandwich with an espresso martini is my favorite combo. The vibe is so cute, funky, and a little retro and the service is always great. Definitely recommend.

For now I am only speaking to the baked goods, I came at 10 am hoping for a table and the wait was 45 minutes and the line was out of the door, which just makes me even more eager to come back. They have an amazing bakery case where you can grab a goodie and also coffee to go or while you wait which I thought was a nice touch. The pastry variety was excellent, I got a pumpkin pie donut and YUMMM so fresh! I can't wait until I can truly try this place out, I'll be outside when they open!

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. Not the place to go if you want quick service or are grabbing a drink before another event. My biggest downside is the price point--most cocktails are around $17. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts. Overall, amazing ambiance and well-made drinks, just expect slower service and a higher bill.

Very impressed by their craftsmanship and experimental flavors. There's not many places in this area that even attempt to do that. I love the speakeasy vibe. Super cool entrance and fun comfortable lounge upstairs. It's a fantastic place to go as an intimate group. But it's kind of small to take a group of more than 4 friends. Cocktails were made surprisingly quick even on a busy night. Everything is just really great about this place. Except for maybe the price lol but at least you're getting what you pay for in a good way

Amazing experience from start to finish. Loved the ambiance - felt high end without being stuffy…read more My husband and I got 2 very interesting cocktails- one was like a spicy dill margarita and one was a dirty martini with a black pepper/curry taste to it. The dirty martini was fairly pungent and strong so not sure I would get it again but I'm also not big on dirty martinis so probably just the wrong choice on my part. But the food was the star of the show. We ate so many good dishes- starting with the rainbow platter. Loved the baba ghanoush and the roasted cauliflower - those were my favorite of the 7 dishes on the platter. We also ordered the labneh, hummus with chicken and lamb shawarma, and the kafta kebabs (rolled up in some sort of tortilla) which were all fantastic! If we come back (which we will) I would just order the baba ghanoush instead of the rainbow platter, all the other dishes we ordered, and maybe one additional plate. I felt like I didn't really need the Israeli salad (tomato and cucumber) or the pickled cauliflower and radish that came on the rainbow platter. The hummus was SO soft and fluffy. This was some of the best food we've had in Pittsburgh. After having lived in a Philly for 4 years, we know good mediterranean/lebanese food and I'd be surprised if you can find better in Pittsburgh. Service was also very good.

We got drinks and 4 mezze / small plates. I liked my kiss my anise cocktail. It's rye based and was peppery and lightly sweet. My husband's cocktail was slightly sweeter and smoky. We shared four plates. I thought the stuffed grape leaves were a little slimy, but otherwise delicious. The Pierogi peppers were the most interesting item for me. They were pierogi filling in a sweet pepper with crispy onion on top-kudos on that dish! Out other two plates were the seared ahi tuna which had a nice savory crust and the chicken souvlaki, which was pretty standard. Our server was friendly and pleasant. The space was beautiful. Would highly recommend coming here for cocktails and small plates, the pizza at other tables looked pretty tasty too!
